I really think you're presuming here as to the reasons God gave. You call them false when God never called them false, just evil.

so ... false teachings are just evil?

2 Corinthians 11

But I am not surprised! Even Satan disguises himself as an angel of light.

1 Thessalonians

9The coming of the lawless one will be accompanied by the working of Satan, with every kind of power, sign, and false wonder, 10and with every wicked deception directed against those who are perishing, because they refused the love of the truth that would have saved them. 11For this reason, God will send them a powerful delusion so that they will believe the lie, 12in order that judgment will come upon all who have disbelieved the truth and delighted in wickedness.

2 Chronicles 33:6

He made his sons pass through the fire in the valley of Ben-hinnom; and he practiced witchcraft, used divination, practiced sorcery and dealt with mediums and spiritists. He did much evil in the sight of the LORD, provoking Him to anger.

Matthew 24:24

24 For false messiahs and false prophets will appear and perform great signs and wonders to deceive, if possible, even the elect.

2 Timothy 4:3-4
3 For the time will come when people will not put up with sound doctrine. Instead, to suit their own desires, they will gather around them a great number of teachers to say what their itching ears want to hear.4 They will turn their ears away from the truth and turn aside to myths.

I think we totally agree with the evil of sorcery and magic and the lying spirits and false visions that are possible.

So, what has your experience been (not, what do you believe about them)? (Although, if you have had experiences, I would like to know your thoughts on it in where you think God is leading you from it.)

I experienced a miracle, and so I was a pantheist as opposed to an atheist.

Later, I had communications with God and with demons also, and so passed from being a pantheist to a theist.

I required tangible experience to believe anything. God provided it. Bad things also came in through that doorway.

So, God is, and there are other spirits also, that are not God, and not always good.

I think that about summarizes it.

Have you since felt a conviction to Jesus or are you still on your search?

Because of the miracles I experienced, I went out and searched for corroboration in tangible, physical miracles that left behind traces that can be studied through modern forensic science.

There are about 100 of them, give or take. 3 of them are Hindu, 96 of them are Catholic, one of them is Lutheran.

Therefore, I am a Catholic.

I will first start another one of these little discussion (which, so far, seems to just be me talking to myself, but that's ok) with the fact my friend used to be a part of the occult. He would do magic, real magic, around games of skill with a small group of people in his hometown that used to convene with demons and demonic activity. He was endowed with what he had at first assumed was the discernment of spirits, which, as he thought would allow him to see demons. He used to observe demonic activity like it was air, however, it was the years with these magic users that caused his gift to flourish and he would have multiple conversations with demons who would promise him things. He would astral project and create meeting spaces in his mind when he slept that he would summon some of his friends to and they'd talk.

In other words, he's insane. Because none of this actually happened.

when he slept that he would summon some of his friends to and they'd talk.

Ok, maybe that one happened. I believe its called a dream.

Positive eyewitnesses' claims >> non-positive claims…

Research shows easier to miss something than to hallucinate it
I didn't listen to the entire program but he makes a very logical presentation. He's obviously intelligent. Good find.

The bottom line is, you don't touch the spiritual realm actively. If God has something for you, He will touch base with you. If you try to get in touch with the spiritual realm actively, Satan himself is waiting for you.

The evil spirits are not allowed to actively and physically contact us, unless it is the reverse that we, in a sense, "invite" them for a contact. They actively seek for a soul to capture, but we are protected as long as we don't actively get in touch with the spiritual realm. The setup is so because men are allowed to sin in many ways.

That said. When God truly speaks, it's in a predefined way, basically in Acts 9.

Acts 9:3-4 (NIV2011)
As he neared Damascus on his journey, suddenly a light from heaven flashed around him.
He fell to the ground and heard a voice say to him, “Saul, Saul, why do you persecute me?”

First God will identify Himself in an active manner. Or else you cannot be sure who's talking to you.
What Jesus did to Paul, in Paul's own concept, can only be done by God Himself. That leads to the second point. When God speaks to a person, the preparation usually begins before that person was born. If God speaks to you, you will have something which can be traced back before your birth. Plus a concept is pre-buried such that He will extend or make use of that buried concept to identify Himself before He speaks.

Acts 9:5 (NIV2011)
“Who are you, Lord?” Saul asked. “I am Jesus, whom you are persecuting,” he replied.

Paul is the passive party, he's completely unprepared. That's usually the situation. So leave it to be God's will instead of your desire. That's almost crucial for God to speak to someone.

Acts 9:6 (NIV2011)
“Now get up and go into the city, and you will be told what you must do.”

This distinguishes between the identification stage and the speaking stage. God/Jesus identified Himself here, but He will only convey true messages to Paul afterwards.

Acts 9:12 (NIV2011)
In a vision he has seen a man named Ananias come and place his hands on him to restore his sight.

This is the most important part. It is a prophetic occurrence for Paul. Something prophetic must happen for God to deliver a message to a human. A prophetic scenario acts as a confirmation that a message is be conveyed in a divine manner.

If you didn't go through the above, I doubt that you truly received a direct message from God.

Christians in general will rely on prayers as a mean to communicate with God. You shouldn't actively seek for another way to speak with God.

A prophet on the other hand is for God to put words in his mouth, not the reverse that he desires words from the mouth of God!!! The Word of God is where one should seek His messages from.

If one doesn't follow these "rules", I can almost tell that "he's not from God".

Of course, the Holy Spirit often speaks with us in a whisper. That's something different.
