I do love DW. I have every episode on my network, including the Loose Cannon versions. All specials and hidden gems since 2005. Do have my opinions on so many things in the DW universe, good and bad. I do not read any of the books and such, as can not even read the stuff I have been meaning to for decades as it is. I would like to read the comic Assimilation2 though.

I am upset by it on two fronts.
One, the Doctor is female. Not against the female, but over 50 years it is a male. A grandfather, father, etc. Now, we got to use different words? It be like Captain Picard being transformed to a women. I seen the actress in maybe one movie before, but the Doctor should always be a male.
Two, I had those earrings she has that clip into the top of her ear. I hate extra piercings. YUK! I tried to write to the company about digitizing them out, but they not hear of it. Just subjecting people today in to what other think is "normal."

Mhm, okay, point taken. Still, going to be hard for me after 60 years seeing him as male going female.

Probably going to be a good several months till I can even obtain them to watch. I am going to have to avoid this online life of spoilers.
