The idea of hate speech was concocted to make censorship palatable.

Right. It used to be that hate speech meant saying something like, "All (fill in the blank) should die." Now "Hate speech" = any viewpoint that varies from the politically correct view.

‘Hate speech’ accusations are simply a Marxist tactic employed to silence their opposition so that they may spread degeneracy more freely throughout society. The proof of that is in the fact that, for them, anything goes still. Calls for violence against opposition included. I’ve lost track of how many ‘celebrities’ and other unhinged leftists have called for violence against Donald Trump and his family. Imagine the media outrage there would be if people had openly called for violence against leftist Obama and his family when he was president.

Alex Jones is a sensationalist peddler of ‘fear inappropriate content’ with a multimillion dollar company. But if leftists are allowed to call for violence then why can’t he have free speech too? Because he isn’t a leftist, that’s why..and most of his following are not leftist either. The leftists are making an example out of such people like him, and Cruz, and Trump, who have a platform, ‘do not say anything or have any opinions that do not fall in line with our leftist agenda or I find you!’

The Bible is considered hate speech by these antifa Marxists. Just more proof that this is satan’s kingdom indeed.

Ban both. Alex Jones is a nutjob and Antifa is, well, Antifa. They're not really a threat(certainly here in Canada where they seem to only yell at Christians), but might as well be consistent in these policies.

Yelling at people is hardly violence, certainly not violence that would warrant gunfire. I've literally never seen Antifa do anything except yell at Christians claiming we're homophobic and sexist.

Then you haven't been paying attention. They've caused tons of problems and have urged people to bring weapons to protests and have been caught with weapons.

I've literally been to protests where Antifa was present. The only people who had weapons were the right-wing groups. There was a recent controversy right in my own city about some right-wing group showing up at a protest with shock rods. They were the only ones who showed up armed. All Antifa had were the flags they were waving and the signs they were holding up.

These lowlifes dress up in all black and wear masks, run around ganging up on individual targets, sucker punching people, and pelting them with water balloons filled with urine, and smoke bombs. There was an an instance where one of these savages, a college professor, smashed someone over the head with a bike lock when they weren’t looking.

They repeatedly and openly call for violence against Trump supporters. They don’t try to hide the fact they’re violent savages, they FLAUNT it, because they know they can get away with it since the leftist media will cover for them and portray them as innocent darlings. It is quite ironic they call their opposition ‘nazis’ and ‘fascists’ when that is exactly what they themselves are.

Twitter, Facebook are becoming the speech police. Which is odd ... because when they first brought up their platforms ... there stance with the government was ... basically they are a communication platform and therefore exempt from responsibility of the users content (and this was accepted). ok ... so now .... if they are going to control the speech .... then seems to me they are now liable for what's out there ???? Who is/are the "judge(s)" over free speech and do we want one? If it's a national security issue .... that's different. I don't care for Alex Jones and others, therefore I don't listen to Him/them. We do have a choice to listen or not ... unless speech is silenced for some ... and if it is .... then how do we know who a person/people really is/are?

This is the first time I've listened to Glenn Beck in a long time, but I found his opening today, where he addresses what happened to Cruz, eloquent and moving. It's about what's happening in the culture, and how our foundations are being destroyed, and how we need to exercise courage like a muscle, lest it atrophy. Give it a 15 minute listen.
