If HE believes he did not assault a women, then that is what his body language will say.

There are men who believe that slapping a woman's bottom or grabbing their breasts is not considered assault and their body language would say the same thing.
Frankly, it could speak to his willingness to gauge what constitutes assault.

True. But that's not all he said. He categorically denied that any of this happened, and says he believes it's possible she has him confused with someone else.

... Until proven guilty, yes. That is kinda one of the oldest tenets of law, dating back to Antonius Pius in the second century
According to Chuch Schumer, Kavanaugh doesn't have the presumption of innocence because it's not a legal case. So yes, according to the Senate Democrat leader it's ok to destroy someones political and judicial career without there being the need to provide evidence that they actually did something to deserve it.

...a person's political affiliation seems to drive the selective outrage on this topic as well.

The people who were fired up about Clinton are blasé about Brett, and vice versa.

Does Brett's accuser have a stained dress to show as evidence? Or any actual evidence at all? It doesn't appear so which would make your comment silly.

Oh, you've looked at them! Well gee...that settles that. Too bad Ramirez and Ford couldn't stand up to the eagle-eyed scrutiny of Christian Forums member redleghunter.

"We totally believe, without a shadow of a doubt, that Kavanaugh is innocent. But don't you dare try to investigate! That'd be unamerican!"

- Definitely the sign of confidence in your nominee's innocence

No, the "American" thing is to file a complaint with your local DA and have it investigated as a criminal case.

Why haven't they don't that?

To be charitable to your argument, you are right I guess, witchhunts are also very American.

Yes, it's definitely obvious that a victim wanting to be investigated by the FBI is proof that she's trying to hide something.

You all can't even keep up with your own talking points. It's very hilarious to see.

The FBI investigates federal crimes, this isn't a federal crime. If she wanted an investigation she would have contacted her local authorities.

Or credible testimonies under oath? with actual details that describe a crime? Times, places? Charges filed? You think Paula, Juanita and Kathleen would have been scared to testify before the Senate?

Kind of like Keith Ellison's ex. She also has been willing to testify, make reports, show evidence. Yet you completely ignore her. Wonder why.

In general, those who tend to support Kavanaugh. Not all of them perhaps, but having to explain the basic concept of how investigations work seems to be a common thread of discussion.

For instance, Anita Hill's accusation was investigated by the FBI (you know: that federal agency with 'Investigation' in its name?) before the hearing. It would seem to me that this is a useful thing to happen if we're going to appoint a man with credible sexual assault claims to a federal role.

Kavanaugh has already been investigated. Ain't gonna happen again. At least the dems back then were smart enough not to wait until the last minute, when the process was over. Duh!

Amazing you guys are worried about Hill and Ford who were total frauds (Ford won't even testify), but could give a rip about real victims where the evidence is overwhelming. Guess women are just pons in your grand scheme.

Fascinating how when accusations come out against Democrats, there tends to be a bipartisan agreement to investigate the matter, and be willing to dispense of the person accused if they are guilty.

Fascinating how when accusations come out against Republicans, there tends to be a massive backlash by conservatives, and so every dark conspiracy theory is rendered plausible as to why a good person is being accused by malicious powers that be.

LOL! Ellison? Clinton who remained president? Booker who admitted to assaulting an underaged woman? MSM who wouldn't air Juanita's interview? Try again.

Heck, the fraudulent MeToo movement is run by Bill Clinton supporters. you guys still refuse to go after him and his wife.

Dems ignore, threaten Ellison's domestic violence accuser

Kudos to Lindsey Graham. Finally, a Republican with guts.

Lindsey Graham Comes Out Swinging Against Avenatti AND Kavanaugh Accuser Julie Swetnick: ‘I am not not going to be played’

Lindsey Graham‏Verified account @LindseyGrahamSC

From my view, just when you thought it couldn’t get any worse, it just did. The lawyer to inappropriate content stars has just taken this debacle to an even lower level. I hope people will be highly suspicious of this allegation presented by Michael Avenatti.

Lindsey Graham‏Verified account @LindseyGrahamSC

I have a difficult time believing any person would continue to go to – according to the affidavit – ten parties over a two-year period where women were routinely gang raped and not report it.
10:12 AM - 26 Sep 2018

Lindsey Graham‏Verified account @LindseyGrahamSC

Why would any reasonable person continue to hang around people like this? Why would any person continue to put their friends and themselves in danger? Isn’t there some duty to warn others?

Lindsey Graham‏Verified account @LindseyGrahamSC

I very much believe in allowing people to be heard. But I am not going to be played, and I’m not going to have my intelligence insulted by the Michael Avenattis of the world. I will not be a participant in wholesale character assassination that defies credibility.
10:16 AM - 26 Sep 2018

Sep 26 2018
Statement From U.S. Senator Lindsey Graham

public

WASHINGTON – U.S. Senator Lindsey Graham (R-South Carolina) today released this statement.

“Judge Kavanaugh has just emphatically denied the recent allegation being levied by Michael Avenatti and his client. He says he does not know the woman in question and emphatically denies the accusations. I would remind everyone that dozens of women who knew Judge Kavanaugh during the time period in question completely vouch for his good character.

“Mr. Avenatti first tweeted Sunday night that he had new and explosive information, and he was immediately contacted by the Senate Judiciary Committee to provide information. He has chosen to release these claims the day before Mrs. Ford’s hearing and two days before a vote.

“From my view, just when you thought it couldn’t get any worse, it just did. The lawyer to inappropriate content stars has just taken this debacle to an even lower level. I hope people will be highly suspicious of this allegation presented by Michael Avenatti.

“I have a difficult time believing any person would continue to go to – according to the affidavit – ten parties over a two-year period where women were routinely gang raped and not report it. I also find it curious these charges were not brought forward until 2018, two days before a confirmation vote.

“Why would any reasonable person continue to hang around people like this? Why would any person continue to put their friends and themselves in danger? Isn’t there some duty to warn others?

“This is outrageous, internally inconsistent, and I hope the U.S. Senate will see this for the smear campaign that it is.

“It is outrageous to suggest that Brett Kavanaugh at any time in his life behaved this way. His life is inconsistent with any of these allegations. All women who have worked with and for Brett Kavanaugh when he was in a position of power have nothing but glowing things to say about the way he has conducted himself.

“This is a decent man who has lived an honorable life and is being smeared by the likes of Michael Avenatti.

“I very much believe in allowing people to be heard. But I am not going to be played, and I’m not going to have my intelligence insulted by the Michael Avenattis of the world. I will not be a participant in wholesale character assassination that defies credibility.

“If Republicans bail out on this good man because of the smears and character assassination perpetrated by Michael Avenatti, we deserve our fate.”

Does Brett's accuser have a stained dress to show as evidence? Or any actual evidence at all? It doesn't appear so which would make your comment silly.

...so if his accuser actually had a stained dress, you'd be opposed to him then? I don't know you personally, but I can say for sure that when other prominent conservatives have been under fire for similar behavior (even in cases where their is ample evidence and even an admission or hush money paid out), the go-to response is still to remind people about Bill Clinton and attack the character of the person doing the accusing on the grounds that "they just picked this time to come forward for political reasons, if it bothered them that much, they should've come forward years ago".

...and as we're seeing with the Brett case, a popular tactic is to wait for a ridiculous "bandwagon"/"copycat" accuser, point out how silly they are and how ridiculous their claim is, and attempt to project that onto everyone else who's made an accusation.

Everyone's harping on how silly the second accuser is/was and how their story is full of holes (which is true), however, they're zeroing in on that so they can avoid having to acknowledge that the first accuser isn't silly and their story isn't full of holes.

Basically, they're picking the low hanging fruit because it's easier to attack...

So, which accuser's story is not full of holes?

Eight big problems with her story...

...first off, we can throw out polygraphs. Lie detector tests are bogus (that's another topic, but I can delve in if you'd like)

As far as the first link, they all seem center around her memory being foggy and her not wanting to tell people about it. That's not uncommon for victims of various abuses. My cousin was sexually assaulted by a teacher when she was 11. Two other girls had it happen too, the teacher was caught in the act with one of them, confessed, and was sentenced. We know it happened. But still, to this day, my cousin couldn't tell you all of the details and she starts to get uneasy and frustrated if prompted for them and it's been nearly 20 years.

Trauma of any sort can certainly lead to blind spots in one's memory.

Clearly the GOP panel has reservations about that two thus the reason they refused when her attorney requested to bring in 2 expert witnesses, and why the conservative media is being very quiet about the fact that she didn't just bring it up now as a political stunt because of his nomination, but that this actually came up in a couples therapy session with her husband in 2012, long before Kavanaugh was a household name.

Who knows, maybe she was making things up in 2012 too...anything is possible.

However, this quick race to dismiss her just so Trump supporters can "stand by their man" is glaringly obvious.
