I was exploring this verse more in depth, as it is one of the places where it show the end time destruction of Satan [which I feel occurred very shortly after Paul penned this Epistle, before 70ad].

Paul uses the unique phrase "in swiftness" in Rom 16:20, with the preposition "in" before "swiftly".
For now I will just post this verse, then the other 6 verses verses using this phrase in further posts. .

Romans 16:20
The yet God of the Peace<1515> shall be crushing<4937> the SATAN under the feet of YE IN/en<1722> SWIFTNESS/tacei <5034>.
The grace of the Lord of us, Jesus Christ, with ye.

16:20 o de qeoV thV eirhnhV suntriyei ton satanan upo touV podaV umwn en tacei

A lexicon shows that when the prefix <1722> is added to <5034> it denotes a faster type of action than w/o the prefix. It is a form of <5036> and used in only 7 verses of the NT, [2 of those in Revelation]

1722. en a primary preposition
denoting (fixed) position (in place, time or state),
5034. tachos from the same as 5036;
a brief space (of time), i.e. (with 1722 prefixed) in haste:--+ quickly, + shortly, + speedily.
5036. tachus takh-oos' of uncertain affinity; fleet, i.e. (figuratively) prompt or ready:--swift.
Strong's Number G5034 matches the Greek τάχος (tachos),
which occurs 7 times in 7 verses

The phrase "in swiftness" occurs 7 times.
Luke 18:8 ,
Acts 12:7, Act 22:18, Acts 25:4,
Romans 16:20,
Revelation 1:1 and Revelation 22:6

<end>
This denotes a common gesture when the conqueror humiliates and shows his contempt for his conquered enemies.
Joshua 10:23-24
(23) So they brought the five kings out of the cave—the kings of Jerusalem, Hebron, Jarmuth, Lachish and Eglon.
(24) And it came to pass, when they brought out those kings unto Joshua, that Joshua called for all the men of Israel, and said unto the captains of the men of war which went with him, Come near, put your feet upon the necks of these kings. And they came near, and put their feet upon the necks of them.

Do you think the footstool is attached to his feet?
I believe it could be symbolizing putting someone or something under one's foot to use as a footstool.

Genesis 1:1 (YLT)
Strong's Number G5286 matches the Greek ὑποπόδιον (hypopodion),which occurs 9 times

James 2:3 is a fairly good example of this.

James 2:3
and ye may look upon him bearing the gay raiment, and may say to him, 'Thou -- sit thou here well,' and to the poor man may say, 'Thou -- stand thou there, or, Sit thou here under my footstool,' --

Literally, it appears to read "sit thou here under the under-foot of me".

upo to upopodion mou

5286. hupopodion hoop-op-od'-ee-on neuter of a compound of 5259 and 4228; something under the feet, i.e. a foot-rest (figuratively):--footstool

ὑποπόδιον, ὑποποδίου, τό (ὑπό and πούς), a footstool (Latinsuppedaneum): Matthew 5:35; Acts 7:49 (from Isaiah 66:1); James 2:3; τιθέναι τινα ὑποπόδιον τῶν ποδῶν τίνος,

to make one the footstool of one's feet, i. e. to subject, reduce under one's power (a metaphorically, taken from the practice of conquerors who placed their feet on the necks of their conquered enemies):

The phrase "in swiftness" occurs 7 times.
Luke 18:8 ,
Acts 12:7, Act 22:18, Acts 25:4,
Romans 16:20,
Revelation 1:1 and Revelation 22:6

It is repeated twice in Revelation, perhaps denoting that it is one in the same event/vision and that everything will happen swiftly:

Revelation 1:1
An-un-covering/veiling of Jesus Christ, which gives to Him, the GOD, to show to the bond-servants of Him,
which-things is binding to be becoming
In/en <1722> Swiftness/tacei <5034>.

Revelation 22:6
And said to me: "These, the Words Faithful and True.
And Lord, the GOD of the spirits of the holy Prophets, commissions the Messenger of Him to show to the bond-servents of Him
which-things is binding to be becoming
In/en <1722> Swiftness/tacei <5034>.

I found Genesis 41:32 to be interesting concerning a similar event when Joseph was asked to interpret some dreams of Pharaoh:

Genesis 41:
25 And Joseph saith unto Pharaoh, ‘The dream of Pharaoh is one: that which the Elohim is doing he hath declared to Pharaoh;

32 "And-on to be repeated/doubled/08138 shanah of the dream unto Pharaoh twice/06471 pa`am, that being established the matter from-with the Elohim,

and making haste/04116 mahar the Elohim to do of it."

4116 mahar maw-har' a primitive root; properly, to be liquid or flow easily, i.e. (by implication); to hurry (in a good or a bad sense); often used (with another verb) adverbially, promptly:--
be carried headlong, fearful, (cause to make, in, make) haste(-n, -ily), (be) hasty, (fetch, make ready) X quickly, rash, X shortly, (be so) X soon, make speed, X speedily, X straightway, X suddenly, swift.

The phrase "IN/en<1722> SWIFTNESS/tacei <5034>" occurs 7 times.
Luke 18:8 ,
Acts 12:7, Act 22:18, Acts 25:4,
Romans 16:20,
Revelation 1:1 and Revelation 22:6

The more I look, the more I see Luke and Revelation harmonizing quite a bit.
Luke appears to be the only Gospel writer that uses different forms of the word for "vengeance/avenge" [which is also used in Revelation].

Luke 18:8
I am saying to ye that He shall be doing the avenging<1557> of them IN/en<1722> SWIFTNESS/tacei <5034>

Moreover, the Son of the Man consequently coming shall He be finding the faith upon the land

The word used for "vengeance<1557> is used only 9 verses:
3 in Luke, 1 in Acts and 5 in Epistles

1557. ekdikesis ek-dik'-ay-sis from 1556; vindication, retribution:--(a-, re-)venge(-ance), punishment.

1556. ekdikeo ek-dik-eh'-o from 1558; to vindicate, retaliate, punish:--a (re-)venge.
1558. ekdikos ek'-dik-os from 1537 and 1349; carrying justice out, i.e. a punisher:--a (re-)venger.

Genesis 1:1 (NKJV)

Luke 21:22
That these are days of vengeance/<1557>,
of the to be ful-filled all the having been written/gegrammena <1125> (5772),

Romans 12:19
Beloved, do not avenge yourselves, but rather give place to wrath; for it is written, Vengeance<1556> is Mine, I will repay,”[fn] says the Lord.

Genesis 1:1 (NKJV)

Revelation 6:10
And they cried with a loud voice, saying, How long, Master/Owner, holy and true, dost Thou not judge and avenge<1556> our blood on them that dwell on the earth?
Revelation 19:2
“For true and righteous are His judgments, because He has judged the great harlot who corrupted the earth with her fornication;
and He has avenged<1556> on her the blood of His servants shed by her.”

Now this is interesting.
Out of the 86 verses #1515 is used, it is used only in 2 vs of Matthew and 1 in Mark.
The rest in Luke, John, Acts, the Epistles and 2 verses in Revelation.

Matthew 10:34
'Ye may not suppose that I came to cast peace<1515> upon the land;
I did not come to cast peace<1515>, but a sword
;

Revelation 1:4

John, to the seven Assemblies that are in Asia:
Grace to ye, and peace<1515>, from Him who is, and Who was, and Who is coming,

and from the Seven Spirits that are before His throne,

Revelation 6:4
Revelation 6:4 [Ezekiel 38:21/Matthew 10:21]and there went forth another horse -- red, and to him who is sitting upon it, there was given to him to take the peace<1515> from the land,

and that one another they may slay, and there was given to him a great sword.

Ezekiel 38:21
Then will I call against him every terror, declareth My Lord Yahweh.
The sword of every man against his brother shall be;

[Matt 10:34/Revelation 6:4]
