It looks like Woodward back-peddled a few days later.

Well, immediate or not, there's no evidence of collusion. Congressman Trey Gowdy said he asked everyone in the know to provide him with evidence. And he got nothing from them.

Trey Gowdy said none of the people in the know gave him evidence of President Trump colluding with the Russians during the 2016 campaign. Dianne Feinstein said she didn't see any evidence of Trump-Russia collusion. Bob Woodward, who brought down President Nixon, said he couldn't find any evidence of it even after looking hard for it for two years. And even former Director of National Intelligence, James Clapper, said there's no evidence of it. These are top dogs in Washington D.C. from both sides of the political aisle saying there's no evidence of Trump-Russia collusion. So the evidence is that there's no evidence.

I wasn't aware that Gowdy, Feinstein, Woodward, and Clapper were part of Mueller's investigative team. Learn something new every day.
I mean, I haven't heard proof that Ted Cruz ISN'T the Zodiac Killer, and I'm sure that would have leaked by now. Makes you think, eh?

So what? A lot of people, even people on the Left (me, for instance) don't think Trump colluded with the Russians.
The question I have is, why are you so anxious to make us believe that the Mueller investigation is about nothing but Trump?

I didn't say that they are part of Mueller's investigation team. But they are people who are in the know or who have access to those in the know when it comes to this.

There's a conviction of a Trump campaign official lying to the FBI about his attempts to collude with the Russians. There's lot of people in the administration lying about the Trump Tower secret meeting with the Russians. Seems like a lot of evidence is out there, if one is willing to look.

Trey Gowdy requested evidence from everyone in the know when they were testifying before Congress under oath. And they could not provide him with any evidence.

I see what happened. In one of my posts, when talking about the Mueller team, I incorrectly said they immediately leak things. They leak but not immediately. So even though not "immediately," the point remains that they leak. It should be noted that in a post before that one, I only said they leak.
