It does not surprise me Fox News made mistakes in trying to discredit someone testifying against their favorite Supreme Court nominee. What upset me most about Kavanaugh were previous written statements indicating he might undermine our democracy by giving the president more power to commit crimes without being prosecuted for them.

I have been following news developments on MSNBC. They recently had the highest prime time cable TV ratings with the Rachel Maddow Show; more popular than Fox News.

No I am tired of the sensationalism going on, and the left wing needs to be called on it. I know the Democrats are not doing this for good reasons, I smell sleazy intent behind. And I am saying this as a supporter of the Me Too movement. I am sick of the left wing media lambasting the right wing media for the same stuff that they do.

What the heck are you watching MSNBC for? They are just as sensationlistic as Fox, and yet people refer to them as gospel truth. Sorry, but MSNBC is just as fearingmongering as Fox and they really have questionable credibility for a reason.

Are you honestly saying that Ingraham, Drudge, Levin, et al., did NOT misfire their smear attempt at a completely incorrect and unrelated target because of, I don't know, ludicrous carelessness?

Because that's what actually, you know, happened.

It could have been worse. Mary Smith could have made the initial accusation...

No, I am tired no freaking sick of the left wing media, and trying to pain themselves as better as their right wing counterparts because they supposedly are more humanistic. The problem is that misconstruing character seems to be something only the right wing is blamed for, but the left wing go under the radar for.

I have just become numb to this, because at this point this going to become sensationalist garbage and whatever happens at the end the Democrats are going to try to depict themselves as saintly angels that generations are going to eat as truth.

The information in the links make it seem as though an honest mistake was made. Its only the OP that insists that it was intentionally done in order to "smear" her.

It's human nature to think the worst about people. One person accuse Kavanaugh when he was a teenager at a party she can't remember the place or time... even the year and everyone is ready to judge him.
Even if it's true they were both teenagers which we shouldn't judge them as adults. Are people really think thaT politicians are not guilty of doing something stupid as a teenager?

I was responding to your last para which started with “even if it’s true”. I’m saying that, ok, let’s assume it’s true. You would say we shouldn’t place too much stock in the foolish things that kids do in their teens.

Fine. Then, if it’s true, why can’t Kavanaugh be expected to come clean, admit it, and use that justification...’I was just a dumb kid’...? Instead, we possibly have him lying about it NOW...that can’t be brushed aside as the mistake of a ‘dumb kid’...

Remember, it’s not the act, it’s the cover up that gets you in the end...

The leftists are still mad about the election they lost two years ago and are unable to cope. However, I don’t see how anyone could view them as ‘humanistic’ or ‘saintly’ since they’re the camp that supports the killing of unborn babies. If anyone really pictures them as such, it just goes to show how heavily fluoridated our water supply truly is.

The leftists will never be content until they are able to rule over everyone else with an iron fist. And even if they were able to achieve this, I doubt they’d ever be content. No matter what. they’d still act like scorned, jaded, stood-up prom dates. ‘The Mean Girls Party’ is the best way to describe them.

It is amusing though, because they’re their own worst enemy. Truly hilarious how their own antics have led to this #walkaway movement or whatever it is called. People are jumping ship left and right, I enjoy seeing it. Me personally, I don’t support either side. God ultimately allows whoever it may be to take office. God is in control when it is all said and done.

But I can’t help but enjoy observing the leftists not getting their way. If it is true and he is discovered to be lying about it, the consequences will be far, far worse. Because the lying will have been something that he is guilty of NOW, as a supposedly responsible adult...
