I think you are right that there is no connection to Trump. One would hope that the President would not be involved in curtain purchases. (Obama included) However, if Haley herself ordered 52,000 dollar curtains then to me that would disqualify her for any future run at the Presidency or VP role.

Really? Everything else about her is okay but the curtain thing is the bridge too far?

I can think of a lot of reasons why she shouldn't run for her those offices. And lot of those reasons are why she shouldn't have the job she has now.

Of all the ones I've ever seen in that position I believe Nikki Haley is the very best and strongest and smartest and besides those points, not bad looking (at all).

She's one of the vestiges of the old GOP. I will not mourn the loss of that party of losers and halfwits. The sooner she gets fired and forgotten about, the happier I'll be. She represents virtually nothing that I believe in.

But otherwise she's okay, I guess.

I was not saying the curtain issue is the only thing. However, the curtain issue shows a character flaw if she authorized the charges. Since government is 20 trillion in the red, having someone with this flaw does not seem prudent. Of course an informed voter decides and prioritizes on a range of issues and then compares candidates overall.

Oh they were quick to blame the Trump Administration for approving Nikki Haley's $52,000 curtains.

But, it only appears to be more fake news.

Because actually the curtains were bought by the Obama Administration.

No, Donald Trump is to blame for everything bad going on in this world. The Washington Post reported Hurricane Florence was Donald's fault, and the Washington Post would't tell an untruth.

I know I forgot.

One of our goats just tripped and hit her head on the fence and blamed it on Trump.

She just ate the other goats Make America Great Again hat.
