Real Clear Politics is showing the Fall election as neck and neck. If the election were held today, Democrats would take the House and Republicans would retain the Senate, but there is a ton of time before the election. The employment numbers come out tomorrow, so we'll see if the econonmy is still in full tilt forward, but based on numbers out today, we may have already passed the apex.

I don't trust the polls. So I'm going to wait to see how the mid-term elections turn out.

Good news for Trump = bad news for Dems.

"FILE PHOTO: The Federal Reserve building is pictured in Washington, DC, U.S., August 22, 2018. REUTERS/Chris Wattie/File Photo"

"NEW YORK (Reuters) - The U.S. economy is growing at a 4.7 percent annualized rate in the third quarter, the Atlanta Federal Reserve’s GDPNow forecast model showed on Tuesday, following the latest data on construction spending and factory activity." More

GDPnow is probably overestimating (and their estimate has changed since the OP)
