We will first start with the NT.
The greek word #3769 is mentioned in only 3 verses of the NT, one of them concerning the Dragon in Reve 12:4:

Revelation 12:
4 And it's/his tail/oura <3769> is dragging the third of the stars of the heaven and casts them into the land.

Revelation 12:

I find this interesting.
Notice the similarity between the Dragon in Reve 12 and King Herod and the corrupt murderous Jewish rulers in Matthew 2:

Matthew 2:
3 And King Herod having heard this, was disturbed, and all Jerusalem with him.
4 And having assembled all the chief priests and scribes of the people, he was inquiring of them where the Christ was to be born.
13 And of them having withdrawn, behold! a Messenger of the Lord appears to Joseph in a dream saying,
“Having arisen, take the Child and His mother, and flee into Egypt, and remain there until I should tell you,
for Herod is about to seek the Child to destroy Him.”

Yes, there are similarities....for me, however, Herod is doing Satan's bidding. Satan used Herod BIG TIME in all kinds of depraved and evil to the nth degree ways.

What comes to mind for me is just how long Satan's tail was to sweep all those "stars" with him.

In this verse, the tail is described as a "false/lying" prophet, [which is shown in 3 verses of Revelation]

Isaiah 9:
14 - Therefore the LORD will cut off head and tail<2180> from Israel,
Palm branch and bulrush in one day.
15 - The elder and honorable, he is the head;
The prophet who teaches lies, he is the tail<2180>.

Egypt is also shown in Revelation

Isaiah 19:15
There will be no work for Egypt Which its head or tail<2180>, its palm branch or bulrush, may do.

Interesting. When i think of a dragon and its tail, Satan comes to mind.

Isn't that what God calls him....

Judas, therefore, having taken the band and officers out of the Chief priests and Pharisees is coming/ercetai ἔρχεται<2064> thither with torches and lamps, and weapons;
