He's right. Nowhere else did i hear this, or was it covered, that Trump met with a large group of ministers and spiritual leaders on Monday night.

This was not covered ANYWHERE, unless i missed it.

(still listening)

Thank you for posting this.

It's time for Christians to come together and PRAY together, more and more, as it is written in Jam 5:16 about fervent, effectual prayer.

Time to wake up.

Praying.

Let it rain.

Thank you Paul. This is a wake-up call for all of us to pray even more diligently and fervently and joining with more and more brothers and sisters to pray together.

God bless you Paul.

Praying.

Let it rain.

i just called the White House and spoke with a rep to say that i'm praying, along with many, for our President and country, and for all the staff there, including the guy i was speaking to, and to offer some encouragement and to share this verse:

"And all these blessings shall come on thee, and overtake thee, if thou shalt hearken unto the voice of the LORD thy God." ~Deut 28:2

Praying!

Let it rain.

What is new about Trump campaigning? He didn't say anything that isn't said by politicians all the time. They tweak the message to fit the audience is all.

Impeachment is not something that is easily done. There has to be evidence that what a President did was a high crime or misdemeanor, a treacherous act against the country.
So as long as he Always tells the truth/doesn't commit perjury, what does he believe he could be impeached for?
I don't think he believes that he can be impeached. He is using that as a scare tactic to get these preachers to go home and tell their church who to vote for, just as this guy is in the video.

Not looking to argue. For those who have ears.

I got through about a third of that and couldn't handle any more of that idiot. He doesn't speak for Christianity, he speaks for those who agree with his political views.

I would have rather read the transcript of Trump's remarks than listen to editorializing- especially 18 minutes worth.

Everyone knows Democrats want to run Trump out of office and stand against everything conservative and evangelical. Everyone knows that Trump, being the imperfect human he certainly is, is perfectly willing to defend the same protections for Christians that others have extended to all other groups.

Sounds pretty apocalyptic to me. "You are one election from losing everything, Christian!" Well, we weathered the last 8 years which were certainly not Christian-friendly, and didn't "lose everything". We aren't going anywhere until Jesus says its time (and other events occur). But he isn't wrong that Christians need to pray.

1 Chronicles 1:7
If my people who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and heal their land.

What lies are people willing to believe?

This was reported on extensively in the main stream media. Clearly Donald Trump does not want the Democrats to have any power to investigate his business practices nor his ties to Russia, nor any deals proposed by Putin to lift sanctions on Russia prior to the election.

Why some people cannot see that, is what bothers me, particularly since so much indisputable evidence is already out there in public view.

Of course Donald Trump is successful at playing the victim here so long as people are willing to believe that a vote for a Democrat is a vote against their religion/God and the economy . Imagine the spirit of darkness that dwells in the heart of any person who would believe such a lie. As if God is all into corporate profits and kidnapping the children of desperate people seeking asylum.

Trump is a liar: He said, “When I decided to just do it, I said to myself, I said you know, this Russia thing with Trump and Russia is a made up story, it’s an excuse by the Democrats for having lost an election that they should have won”.

I have nothing against the simple minded, but what type of reasoning is happening in this man’s mind and in the minds of his supporters? Everyone knows that the Russia investigation began six months before the election ever even happened. So in case anyone missed it, that makes Donald Trump’s “theory” of a hoax completely non-sensical, since the Democrats could not have known that they would lose the election six months before the election.

Moreover, since he was informed about it before making this statement, He knows full well that it’s not an “excuse by the Democrats” nor “a made up story”. He is deliberately bearing false witness, but not only to hide the Truth, but also for the sake of his supporters who are more than willing to believe him and even contribute politically to the thinking and believing and spreading of despicable things said about others that are absolutely untrue. Trump and his supporters have no qualms about falsely accusing and condemning Democrats of devious behavior and vile hatred, nor about dividing the country against one another so as to protect his image, and subsequently the false image of god that he projects.

I understand why supporters of Trump would not want to discuss it.

...then shouldn't you post this in your blog or something? Because that's sort of what these threads are for: discussing thing, reasoning together and yes, arguing as well. :sorry:

For those who have ears. (snip)
I have ears. I hear pretty good, well...except for a slight tinnitus in both ears from standing in front of too many speakers at rock concerts. Plus? I thought President Trump loved leaks?
I might also add: the midterms really are only about President Trump and his beloved rapidly spreading swamp, not about Christianity. Christianity is going to do just fine no matter what happens in the midterms.

I agree 100% with the gist, if not some of the specifics, in this post.

Christians have had the same protections as everyone else has had for a long time. It's just that some Christian groups want more extended to them than groups they disagree with.

I'm Christian and all of my Christian friends have had things pretty good for those years.

We need to pray that Trump hears this and humbles himself before God.
