The gospels are midrashim, my understanding is not going to change. It does not mean that some information in the Gospels are not true, the two are not mutually exclusive.

I answered you in general, but I will entertain the specifics.
This question would depend on how they are relaying this information. Are they saying it takes X amount of time for erosion to occur today and therefore they conclude this is the rate at which erosion must have occurred throughout all history? Or are they simply saying it takes x amount of time for erosion to occur as observed today and we don't know how fast or slow erosion occurred in the past nor do we know if there are other variables we don't know of that could be contaminating the data?
By the way, erosion rates pose a problem for old age.

Also, if I"m to take your "change into what we see today" as an indicator that the question is that yes, they say erosion and lava take x amount of time today and therefore have maintained this rate (uniformitarianism) all throughout history then no, I don't agree with that. As I said in my previous response that answered both questions in general, I do not agree with uniformitarianism.
See my previous answer. Telling me that Geologist say the earth is old is like me telling you Young Earth Creationists say the earth is young. The field of Geology says nothing, the Geologists do.
Also, God created Adam and Eve fully formed. Was there a problem when he did that?

This falsity is reinforced by those that think Adam and Eve were meant to live forever. Contrast Genesis 1 with Revelation 22.

Time is measured by the revolution of the earth. One revolution, one day. We observe this revolution with the day and night that comes from the sun. The first day was at creation, in the beginning. It started time. The last day comes at judgement day, after which a new world is set up with no day and night. That means no measure of time which there is no need for if you live in eternity.

So you doubt scripture and don't even know what determines the length of a day. A day is determined by the rotation of the earth which was created on day one. You don't need a sun for the earth to rotate. We just use a reference point, sun, to measure the rotation time.

The most concerting prophecy is,Yeah, I think we are getting real close.If Jesus was crucified in 30-33 AD. Then we should expect the 70th week of Daniel, the revealing of the Antichrist and Great Tribulation, 1st resurrection/rapture, Day of The Lord, and Jesus taking possession of the Kingdom for 1000 years (end of 6000 years), 2nd resurrection of the wicked, then eternal state-fulfilling the 7000 year plan of God, to happen soon- and in that order.
Of course many don't understand, or don't want to believe this, and this is what God and Daniel says about the matter:
Dan 12:9 He said, "Go your way, Daniel; for the words are shut up and sealed until the time of the end.
Dan 12:10 Many will purify themselves, and make themselves white, and be refined; but the wicked will do wickedly; and none of the wicked will understand; but those who are wise will understand.
Daniel 12:4 But you, Daniel, roll up and seal the words of the scroll until the time of the end. Many will go here and there to increase knowledge.”
While the printing press helped to increase knowledge in the world, it pales to the knowledge now afforded to all. All have all the knowledge of the world at their fingertips. That is Google search with the internet, it is fulfillment of end time prophecy. There is little that this could be advanced than what we now have.
The one advancement that could surpass this is AI. When man creates man, the most plausible created man would computer/robot, it would be the end of this world. It would be a modern Tower of Babel that I believe God would not allow.

Science has many theories that change every year.
Scripture has stayed the same for thousands of years.
If you believe in an all powerful God, I would put my trust in his words.
Job details God's account of creation and him knowing and setting the physical rules that govern this world. If God created the rules of this world, then he is in control of them and they will suit his plan. Scientist observe this created world and assume that the rules that govern this world have stayed constant. This is the downfall of ALL scientific observation. Verse 4 highlights the futility of such a mindset, one created can never know the rules of creation.
Job 38
Then the Lord spoke to Job out of the storm. He said:
2 “Who is this that obscures my plans
with words without knowledge?
3 Brace yourself like a man;
I will question you,
and you shall answer me.
4 “Where were you when I laid the earth’s foundation?
Tell me, if you understand.
5 Who marked off its dimensions? Surely you know!

or who laid its cornerstone—
