If you carefully review that verse in Greek, that "mark" is actually in the context of money.

Other verses in the Bible supports this such as Luke 16:13 (loving money is hatred of God), 1 John 2:15-17 (Loving the things of this world including money means no love for God or having none of God's love)

Is it possible to be saved and hate God at the same time because you love money? That's the million $ question.

The "Beast" who was slain and is alive again is the Roman Empire.

Some say that it is not necessary to interpret every Biblical verse literally, especially in the Book of Revelation.

It is talking about people during a specific time. I'm not even sure it would be possible except during that time. I believe it does say that those choose the anti-christ will not be redeemable if that is the choice that they make.

You need provide scripture for the above statement, as Revelation 14:9-11 does not give a name to the beast and most theologians would state the Beast is the Anti-Christ. That being said this specific statement is your opinion.

The word in the Greek for repent is metanoia, which is present progressive word, as ancient Greek had 7 tenses, rather than the 3 of modern English; your term of being "sorry" doesn't cover it. And yes Christ specifically stated that blasphemy against the Holy Spirit is unforgivable, so while nothing is greater than God (e.g. anything of God including his grace) this specific sin has apparently been chosen to not be forgiven, as far as the text shows.

I think it's only if you're currently worshipping Baphomet.

If you used to worship Baphomet, but have turned to Christ you are in the clear. Because we are all garbage sinners. And Jesus knows this, and He doesn't care. He just loves us. Even the Baphomet worshiper. But he cannot save the Baphomet worshiper until he stops his ways. But I'm sure he is so happy to forgive him when they stop.

Well it comes down to what you personally believe. I understand we all read it and SOME DUH.. just know the truth..and your wrong. Lol What I understand is what was will be again. This would be like distingishing John the Baptist from Jesus. The description corruptible man implies a man that isn't corrupted. Like John the Baptist. Most were willing to accept him as messiah. He had to tell them he was not. Jesus said John was the greatest born of woman.

What comes to mind for me is that quite possibly those same ones worshiping the beast will not WANT to be forgiven nor seek repentance or forgiveness (God's mercy and grace), but will continue cursing God till their very last dying breath.

Tragic.

This verse comes to mind:

"And the LORD said, My spirit shall not always strive with man," ~Gen 6:3

This indicates that there will come a time when God's Holy Spirit will no longer be "drawing" hearts and souls to Him.

It will end (God's Spirit "striving"), thus the absence of repentance of those worshiping the beast who are cursing God. They will not seek nor desire repentance, nor God's mercy and grace, and will continue to spew obscenities and cursings at God till their last dying breath.

Again, thus the urgent warning that "TODAY" is the day of salvation. "NOW" is the time.
