Would you renounce your faith in Jesus for $1,000,000? Perhaps $2,000,000? Would you depart from Christianity for a Rolex or Breitling watch? Would you do it for a Rolls Royce of Bentley Motors vehicle? Or would you turn your back on God for your own private island in the Caribbean? What would it take for you to leave Christianity?

Leaving christianity is like selling a stock to buy an ice cream. Except the stock has an infinite value. Why would you leave eternal life for such a small price? It is the most ridiculous idea ever

Unfortunately that life is in the future, once we pass to the next world. In this world we experience these things, and they can shake our foundations of faith.
If you start thinking He does not love you.
If all we have for reward is this life, then of all men we are most miserable. Something Paul could relate to.

I'm not sure that this is a serious question. There's nothing in this world that'd make me leave Christ (Although, I've left many denominations of Christianity). Besides, God seems to have me on my way for a few mil on/around retirement anyways :).

I'm a Christian for 20 years now. What would take me to leave Christianity is proof beyond reasonable doubt that the Christian theology is in error.

If even the elect FEW will be deceived. We must remain vigilant in scrutinizing even things we believe so dearly. Do not settle for the truth so easily.

Even King Solomon said this:

Proverbs 14:15
The simple believe anything,
but the prudent give thought to their steps.

Hard to say... Obviously I don't think anyone with actual faith would've ever accept material things or the money to buy material things. Cars end up in scrapyard, houses get demolished, watches get broken, anyone with IQ higher than a stale sandwich realizes these things are a dust in a wind.

Though there's other side of the coin - obviously depends on how exactly you mean to 'renounce faith', but let's say all it would take is a word to the guy. In that case - what if the money wasn't for you? What if you could actually take the money and use it to serve on a God's vineyard? Besides prayer, nothing in the world can help as much as money. Obviously 1 million dollars is not going to change the world, but... You could save a lot of lives with, and make as many lives fundamentally better. God knows what lies within your heart.

John 6:68-69 Simon Peter answered him, “Lord, to whom shall we go? You have the words of eternal life, (69) and we have believed, and have come to know, that you are the Holy One of God.”

Mark 8:36 For what will it profit a man if he gains the whole world, and loses his own soul? 37 Or what will a man give in exchange for his soul?

I would not leave Jesus for any of these things, but the church would kick me out and remove my Christian credentials if Jesus gave me any of them......

It would take 1 thing.

Proof Jesus died and stayed dead. Simple as that and I am a Jew tomorrow.

The thing is - with no Jesus there is no Christianity...

With no Jesus there is no Judaism because all thier prophets spoke of him , not fulfilled prophecy which passed away would eradicate Judaism , it alredy changed it from animal sacrifices to doing good works .

With or without Jesus there is still Judaism. With Jesus we say they will recognize him as Messiah when he returns as it will be clear that ALL of the prophesies are not fulfilled. Without him then they are still waiting for the Messiah and worshiping in a tradition that has developed over millennia and is much more complicated than a simple transition from sacrifices to good works - many wait for the temple to be rebuilt and the sacrifices to return. If one researches the Jewish (even Messianic Jewish) point of view on the sacrificial system and prayer, etc. it points to this. But that is off topic for this thread.

From the Christian point of view the prophets spoke of Yeshua/Jesus, but from another view they did not. From our point of view many verses speak of Him, but from their point of view many of those scriptures just are not messianic in nature or could apply to another person entirely. We maintain that the unfulfilled prophesies will take place when Jesus returns, but the Jewish point of view is that it should take place at one time and if it is to take place when someone returns the Messiah could be other people than just Jesus (again, remembering that many passages we say are Messianic are not viewed that way by most Jews, even in Jesus's time).

There is none , you cannot say that Daniel was prophet of God for example if his prophecy from God by his angels was not true , he gave us exactly the day Jesus was propclaimed Messiah , any point past this it makes the prophet not valid .
Likewise the rest , you can't validate anything from these Scriptures if they aren't fulfilled , they are simply a storytale like all other religions have .

I'm not speaking of all prophecies but about these who say that Messiah had to come certain time , that's why Jesus was upset about Jews back then because they did not know signs of the time but they could tell the weather by looking at sky .

Matthew 16:3
“And in the morning, It will be foul weather to day: for the sky is red and lowring. O ye hypocrites, ye can discern the face of the sky; but can ye not discern the signs of the times?”

If Christianity was proven to be false then best bet would be worshipping a God which exist but which have not yet revealed himself , clearly not Judaism tho .

For me, it would depend on whether or not Transhumanists can provide all that their ambitious dreams seem to tell us that they will..............................
