That must be because of the Solid Dome around the Flat Earth who block everything coming from outher space...nothing can go outside the DOME and nothing can enter into the DOME...
NOTHING can enter the SOLID DOME around the FLAT EARTH...so even if they had 1,000 times more power -at the time- it's impossible....because of the DOME.
Hooey. If you have the necessary radiated power, it's a piece of cake. I've talked CW (Morse code) by bouncing signals off the moon, from my house, with a couple of thousand bucks worth of gear.

If you have the hardware, it, as they say, ain't no thang. The same side of the moon is always facing us, so it's a bit easier to hit a given spot. Doing Earth-Moon-Earth is a different game since you're just wanting to hit the moon, and manage to get that tight beam back to earth where someone else will hear it. That means you call CQ (any station) a lot. But yeah, a phone mode conversation between the earth and the moon would have been no big deal even in '69, especially with the hardware NASA had at their disposal. Video would have been tougher, and in fact I don't think they did any real time video. Could be wrong about that, though.
Not true at all. I had a nice QSO with a guy in the Marshall Islands one evening using a 10 meter hand-held, 5 watts at I think. A friend of mine was a low-power freak, had a CW rig he could put in a Altoids can, 3 watts max, and when the HF bands were open he could talk around he world, and had a wall full of ARRL certificates to prove it. All depends on propagation, location, and what kind of antenna you can lash up.
Per the question(s) posed , I believe the book of enoch useful but not necessary for faith in Jesus Christ , love of God and love of neighbor . To prove or validate flat earth thinking , no ....there are over 11,000 christian denominations using a variety of scriptures ( mostly the same scriptures ) in order to divide themselves into warring factions , void of love but ready for debate . I think of the scripture " Ever learning but never able to come to the knowledge of the truth . " Flat Earthers would say that a flat earth is the truth and we have been deceived . I would pose that when the elements are destroyed by fire and the heavens themselves are rolled up like a scroll , ( as believed by all early christians and jews ) , to what benefit is a flat earth or round earth ? Is Christ more of a Christ to a round earth or flat earth ... Beware of debate which leads to more and more ungodliness . We must all be pleased that someone at some point in time brought this flat earth business out so that we can all be distracted from prayer and have another reason for division , strife and debate . ( I used to be in internet advertising ...every video for or against flat earth will get page views for the publisher and they will be rewarded monetarily or they will have their ego boosted . ) If your faith is in a flat earth , I would have you learn instead of the Son of God , Jesus Christ . It is by Him we are saved . God gives grace to the humble but opposes the proud ....
