I am going to take this literally. Has anyone experience the sensation of a garment covering you and praise comes forth from you? Obviously from this verse, the Lord has taken the spirit of heaviness off you. I am sure many of you have felt the heaviness on your shoulders and then have the Lord lift if off. But what I am asking is, was it replaced with the garment of praise? Often times we are just happy to have the heaviness lifted that we do not think about what it was replace with.
Isaiah 61:3
3 To appoint unto them that mourn in Zion, to give unto them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that they might be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the Lord, that he might be glorified.
