jesus himself said it would be better for a millstone to be tied around my neck and drowned in the sea than to do this. Am I going to hell? I have repented
Repent and trust that Christ died even for that sin and you will not go to hell.

It's the thorn in your side and let it always be a reminder of the tremendous grace of Christ. Remember how saint Paul, the greatest of all the apostles (in my eyes) had the blood of St Stephan all over his hands.

Stay close to Christ and use your past as a motivation to win more souls to Christ than you lead away from him. You have a bill to pay so to speak.
Christ is merciful and good, glory to his name!

I understand that, but then why did he mention the thing about the millstone

It is a terrible sin to mislead people spiritually.

Jesus was speaking of the unrepentent sinner here.

God can work all things for good ... and desires to forgive ...

As bad as whatever sin we might commit may be, no sin can equal the power of the shed blood of the Son of God. To claim less is irrational and dishonors the sacrifice He made. Fly to Him for forgiveness and for protection from the accusations of the enemy of your soul. He who is forgiven much, loves much.

But I received mercy for this reason, that in me, as the foremost, Jesus Christ might display his perfect patience as an example to those who were to believe in him for eternal life. -1Tim 1:16

Salvation is underserved , free gift , apart of any works you can do , Paul murdered early Christian , David killed somebody ect.

Ephesians 2:8-9 , Galatians 2:16 .

You need to be born again to enter Kingdom of God , it's free and the choice you make .
If you believe that Christ died for your sins and was raised by God from the dead you are saved 1 Corinthians 15:1-4 . Then you are sealed with Holy Spirit Ephesians 1:13-14 and it's forever .

You do not go to hell for commiting this sin or that because they have been paid by Christ on cross in full , you go to hell if you reject Christ and his gospel .

Then what was Jesus doing on the cross?

1 Jn 2:1–2
But if anyone does sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous. 2 He is the propitiation for our sins, and not for ours only but also for the sins of the whole world.

Propitiate. Propitiation. (Greek: hilasterion.) Atonement. Hebrews 9:5 translates this word as “mercy seat”; the Hebrew equivalent (kapporeth [Exodus 25:17]) means the cover or lid of the ark of the covenant on which the High Priest, once a year, would sprinkle blood to propitiate, or make atonement for, the sins of the people. This was a type of the propitiatory sacrifice of Christ on the cross. See also Atonement.

1 Ti 1:13–16
though formerly I was a blasphemer, persecutor, and insolent opponent. But I received mercy because I had acted ignorantly in unbelief, 14 and the grace of our Lord overflowed for me with the faith and love that are in Christ Jesus. 15 The saying is trustworthy and deserving of full acceptance, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners, of whom I am the foremost. 16 But I received mercy for this reason, that in me, as the foremost, Jesus Christ might display his perfect patience as an example to those who were to believe in him for eternal life.
