*The Lord's Smile*

Thinking of You,
makes me smile.
Thinking of You,
makes me rejoice from within.

When past memories,
brings me down.
Reminding me,
of what went bad.

I get my focus,
back on You again Lord.
And this reminds me,
of how much love,
You have for me.

And I picture You,
smiling at me.
Something which,
makes me warm up inside.

Your smile,
is what I want to see!
That You look at me,
with Your eyes of approval.
And then that You add it,
with a loving smile,
given to me.

May the LORD smile upon us with blessings of joy. Amen.

Thank you! :) Yes, may He smile upon us! Thinking of Him smiling makes me always feel so happy, I believe He must have a beautiful smile too! I always picture Jesus Christ as beautiful, and with a lovely smile!

This was something I thought of when I was younger, getting a warm and welcoming hug from Jesus Christ when seeing Him. It was a part which touched me a lot thinking of back then.

A man we know told me that when we saw Him it wouldn't feel as important getting a physical hug from Jesus Christ the same way as we humans need here on earth, and hearing this disappointed me a bit. But now I am thinking; "Why not?" Why wouldn't this still be nice getting when we meet Him? I think it would still be nice and still possible to be experiencing this as well when I meet Him! :)

I have gotten several hugs in dreams and visions, and spiritual ones irl from Jesus. I wouldn't have survived without it, and it changed everything for me. :) I believe that there will be a lot of hugs in Heaven too. Don't count it out! John leaned against Jesus' chest. Jesus also touched the lepers instead of only healing them, and God has told us to lay hands on each other for healing as well. It is easy to become cynical and focus on God's Glory, but I believe that physical touching is a vital part of loving each other, and Jesus Christ is love and the model for how we love each other. I'm gonna get a hug in Heaven, I know that for sure. :)

I may share my testimonies with you in private when I have the time. :)

This is very encouraging to know. Thanks for sharing this!

I do have decided to believe it is possible as well as getting a smile from Jesus Christ. I mean, since He created this, it must be also something He sees as important. ;)

I also believe He has a sense of humor, a good sense of humor! :D In one of my experiences with Him it made me laugh, I thought it was clever of Him, but I also found it funny the way it was done by Him. I have told Him more times that He is very clever! Something He does is, of course, since He is our Creator and Almighty God! :)

Oh yes, feel free to share any of your testimonies which you'd like to share with me!

Much Love in Christ Jesus!

Oh, sister, I have seen Him smiling as well. :) It is so warm and loving, and there is so much indescribable joy. And He has made me laugh as well, so many many times. Sometimes He has made me aware of small details in Scripture that has made me literally rolling on the floor with laughter.

Of course He is serious too. Very, very serious. But He is also the God that had the donkey speak to Baalam and who put the coin in the fish for Peter. Sometimes I feel Him smiling at me if I do something weird (which happens all the time) or make a foolish, random mistake, just to give me relief when I'm about to fall apart. He is a God that is so alive beyond anything we can imagine, and He is so close to us. He weeps with us, mourns with us, and laughs with us! :)

A couple weeks ago, while lying in bed, late at night, praying unto the LORD, for blessings upon our household of peace, love, and joy, and for the LORD to be fruitful though me, His vessel, I began to meditate on the verse, "Clap your hands, all ye nations; shout unto the LORD, with cries of joy..."

After I had fallen asleep, some time later I was awaken, by myself laughing out loud. I fell back asleep and I again woke up, laughing out loud. I felt much joy in the LORD. I am comforted by the Father's blessing during that joyful moment in Christ. Glory to God.

You know, reading this just makes me longing for getting closer to Jesus Christ. I read this before going out to be doing my rounds of newspapers earlier this morning and I thought a lot about this, how I just want to get very close to Him.

I also think of God as a father to us the same way as earthly fathers should be with children, reading what you wrote in here made me picture Him as the type of father who rejoices in making you laugh and smile, any loving father feels blessed when they manage making their child smile and laugh. As well as He always wanting to be with you, going through your every state of emotions, yet also correcting you when this is needed as well, of course, yet, He is also God, which makes Him even much more profound than a normal earthly father!

That's very special. Laughter is also a great sound of joy, I think it is a greater experience laughing out loud 'cause of great inner joy than to be laughing of a joke.

Even though it is also nice laughing when something is funny to us, it helps us get through difficulties easier when we can also sometimes look at it in a comical way. For example; "but the Lord laughs at the wicked,
for he knows their day is coming". (Psalms 37:13) This verse amazes me, yet I think it can also be encouraging. That we can also laugh during our difficulties, see it in a good light. We are told to rejoice during our times of trials and tribulations. :) With God's peace within us we can manage doing this.
