Christianity and DMT

I would say, don't use it. Psychedelics open the door to demonic realms. A follower of Christ would be opening the door to demonic infestation if he used it. There are medicinal uses for some drugs - note the tree in the book of Revelations says the leaves of the tree are used for the healing of the nations - but many others are dangerous to use.

You are looking for experiential knowledge outside of God's written word, which will only lead you down a bad path. Stay clear from anything like that, because it can easily mislead you.

Well, as one who has tried those kind of drugs in the past (not DMT specifically), I can tell you with certainty that they don't cause you to grow closer to Jesus, if that's what you're wanting to know.

This information is better answered by those who used it.....not by people afraid of the unknown. I hear this substance is produced naturally in the body....

I would imagine that God can adjust the Quantity whenever He sees fit, and let you experience exactly what He wants you to, when you are ready. I would think it un-advisable to try and adjust quantities on your own.....as you may not be ready to see what you will see...

If you want to know what happens with that, look up the history of the American Mind Expansionist Church, started in the late 1960s by LSD guru Timothy Leary. That was the most potent hallucinogen of the day.

He is asking about increasing a substance that is already produced by and is in the body. Wouldnt a better comparison be taking vitamin pills, and not LSD? unless, of course, LSD is produced by the body...im not sure.....

LSD was like a train wreck. Some people suffered brain damage from it. I would not recommend any mind altering hallucinogenic drug. Your body should be the temple of the Holy Spirit, not an opium den.

DMT is produced in certain plants - not unlike Psilocybin.
LSD is produced by mold.

It is produced by a gland in your head associated with sleep cycles, among other things....may also help with dreaming. Actually, I've heard more about its existence and production in the body than I've heard about the drug and production out of it...

It hasn't. Just say no to pharmakeia. In my opinion a person is either 1) messing with natural brain states that produce meaningless dreams, except amplified to the nth degree, which can of course make them seem very meaningful, or 2) enabling interaction with actual spirits which can seem to be either good or evil (and we know evil spirits can pretend to be good).

It's known to be produced in the human lungs and the liver. It's produced in the brain of lab rats. Whether it's produced in the human brain has not been determined.

Never heard about it being produced in any other area outside of the brain......interesting. Heard of exact quantities, location and times... There is also talk of methods to increase the quantities produced in your own body. I believe it is possible that all warm blooded animals produce it....maybe why animals dream.

I have not used and I would say, all good things drug could give, can be achieved without drug, so no good reason to use them and I hope people can avoid them.
