Dear Dennis: It is good to behold you again. It is impossible for me at the moment to pursue another link. My Old frame is in a gradual state of "going South" AKA ( the tyranny of change & decay), gradually moving it closer to the Real World for which all of us have been made. Satan's kingdom has been badly fractured by the One who is described by St Paul as "all the more" and "exceedingly more" in His operation as the Last Adam.

This world of ours, within the many dimensions of life in the Church world with its zillion different outlooks, and the kingdom of darkness with avenues without numbers seems to be for me kingdoms divided.

I know this: the darkness that covers the earth and the gross darkness the people is coming to a glorious close!

But the Lord shall arise upon you..

My excursion into fields afar off is gradually winding down. What a shock it is to behold where many in churchianity dwell. Many have zero clue that a new Day is breaking in the heavens & earth. I wonder how many 2000 years ago were waiting for the consolation of Israel? How many realized a little baby in a stable was the King of Glory? Simeon and Anna knew, and the call of Heaven reached to the Magi.

A story to close the week

Love stays

A nurse took the tired, anxious serviceman to the bedside. "Your son is here," she said to the old man. She had to repeat the words several times before the patient's eyes opened. Heavily sedated because of the pain of his heart attack, he dimly saw the young uniformed marine standing outside the oxygen tent. He reached out his hand. The marine wrapped his toughened fingers around the old man's limp ones, squeezing a message of love and encouragement.

The nurse brought a chair so that the marine could sit beside the bed. All through the night, the young marine sat there in the poorly lighted ward, holding the old man's hand and offering him words of love and strength. Occasionally, the nurse suggested that the Marine move away and rest awhile. He refused. Whenever the nurse came into the ward, the marine was oblivious of her and of the night noises of the hospital – the clanking of the oxygen tank, the laughter of the night staff members exchanging greetings, the cries and moans of the other patients.

Now and then she heard him say a few gentle words. The dying man said nothing, only held tightly to his son all through the night. Along towards dawn, the old man died. The marine released the now lifeless hand he had been holding and went to tell the nurse. While she did what she had to do, he waited. Finally, she returned. She started to offer words of sympathy, but the Marine interrupted her.

"Who was that man?" he asked. The nurse was startled, "He was your father," she answered.

"No, he wasn't," the marine replied. "I never saw him before in my life."

"Then why didn't you say something when I took you to him?"

"I knew right away there had been a mistake, but I also knew he needed his son, and his son just wasn't here. When I realised that he was too sick to tell whether or not I was his son, knowing how much he needed me, I stayed."

The next time someone needs you ... just be there. Stay.

A new week dawns.

The following is not my quote, but is absolutely correct!

Rodan6

"God is the absolute of love and logic. Those who embrace these great truths should understand that there is no logical purpose in the eternal torment of souls. The craving for the existence of a place for eternal torment comes from the human longing for revenge. As we seek God, we are drawn to Him through our efforts to be like Him. In our modern age, we are called upon to let go of our primitive urges in this great quest. Anger, prejudice and thoughts of revenge all serve to impede our spiritual progress."

F.L.=

"God IS [the] Saviour of all mankind, especially those who believe/trust in Him. Command this & teach this."

NOTE

1. God is Saviour of all mankind.

2. He is Saviour "especially/malista" of those who trust in Him.

3. He is not only/monon Saviour of those who believe/trust in Him.

4. Command this/ teach this.

What this passage does not declare!

Our God is the Saviour of some of mankind, and ONLY those who trust in Him/ who believe. Command this and teach this.

Our God is a consuming Fire

Fire Is A Beneficent Agent

How shallow is the common view of "fire" as only or chiefly a penal agent. Fire, in Scripture, is the element of....

"Life"....Isa. 4:5

"Purification"....Matt. 3:3

"Atonement"....Lev. 16:27

"Transformation".....2 Pet. 3:10

And never ever of preservation alive for purposes of anguish.

And the popular view selects precisely this latter use, never found in Scripture, and represents it as the sole end of God's fiery judgments! If we take either the teaching of Scripture or of nature, we see that the dominant conception of fire is of a beneficent agent. Nature tells us that fire is a necessary condition of life; its mission is to sustain life; and to purify, even when it dissolves.

Extinguish the stores of fire in the universe, and you extinguish all being; universal death reigns. Most strikingly is this connection of fire and life shown in the facts of nutrition. For we actually burn in order to live; our food is the fuel; our bodies are furnaces; our nutrition is a process of combustion; we are, in fact, "aflame to the very tips of our fingers." And so it is that round the fireside of life and work gather: when we think of home we speak of the family hearth.

Fire Is The Sign Of God's Being

And what Nature teaches, Scripture enforces in no doubtful tone. It is significant to find the Great Source of life constantly associated with fire in the Bible.

Fire is the sign, not of God's wrath, but of His being.

When God comes to Ezekiel there is a "fire unfolding itself" (Ezek. 1:4, 27) and "the appearance of fire." (Ezek. 8:2)

Christ's eyes are a flame of "fire" (Rev. 1:14).

The seven lamps of "fire" are the seven Spirits of God (Rev. 4:5). So a fiery stream is said "to go before God," His throne is fiery flame, its wheels are burning fire (Daniel 7:9,10). His eyes are lamps of fire (Dan. 10:6); He is a wall of fire (Zeph. 2:5). At His touch the mountains smoke (Psl. 104:32). And God's ministers are a flame of fire (Psl. 104:4...Heb. 1:7). It is not meant to deny that the Divine Fire chastises and destroys.

Purification, Not Ruin Is The Final Outcome

It is meant that purification, not ruin, is the final outcome of that fire from above, which consumes--call it, if you please, a paradox--in order that it may save. For if God is Love, then by what but by love can His fires be kindled? They are, in fact, the very flame of love; and so we have the key to the words, "Thy God is a consuming Fire," and "Thy God is a merciful God" (Deut. 4:24-31). So God devours the earth with fire, in order that finally all may call upon the name of the Lord (Zeph. 3:8,9)--words full of significance.

So Isaiah tells us of God's cleansing the daughters of Zion by the spirit of burning (Isa. 4:4)--suggestive words. And, so again, "By fire will the Lord plead with all flesh." (Isa. 66:16) And Christ coming to save, comes to purify by "fire." (Mal. 3:2).

Fire A Sign Of Favourable Response?

Let us note, also, how often "fire" is the sign of a favourable answer from God; when God appears to Moses at the Bush it is in "fire:" God answers Gideon by "fire;" and David by "fire." (1 Chron. 21:26) Again, when He answers Elijah on Carmel, it is by "fire;" and in "fire" Elijah himself ascends to God. So God sends to Elisha, for aid, chariots and horses of "fire." So when the Psalmist calls, God answers by "fire." (Psl. 18:6-8)

And by the pillar of "fire" God gave His law. And in "fire" the great gift of the Holy Ghost descends at Pentecost."

Fire Is The Portion Of All

These words bring us to the New Testament. There we find that "fire," like judgment, so far from being the sinner's portion ONLY, is the portion of all. Like God's judgment again, it is not future merely, but present; it is "already kindled," always kindled: its object is not torment, but cleansing. The proof comes from the lips of our Lord Himself. "I am come to send fire on the earth," for it is certain that He came as a Saviour. Thus, coming to save, Christ comes with fire, nay, with fire already kindled. He comes to baptize with the Holy Ghost, and with fire.

Therefore, it is that Christ teaches in solemn passage (usually misunderstood, Mark 9:43) that everyone shall be salted with fire. And so the "fire is to try every man's work." He whose work fails is saved (mark the word saved), not damned "so as by fire," by consuming what is evil, saves and refines.

The antient tradition that represents Christ as saying, "He that is near Me is near fire," expresses a vital truth. So Malachi, describes Christ as being in His saving work "like a refiner's fire." And so, echoing Deut 4:24-31, we are told that "our God is a consuming Fire," i.e., God in His closest relation to us; God is Love; God is Spirit: but "Our God is a consuming Fire"--a consuming Fire, "by which the whole material substance of sin is destroyed."

When, then, we read (Psl. 18:12) that "coals of fire" go before God, we think of the deeds of love which are "coals of fire" to our enemies. (Rom. 12:20) Thus, we who teach hope for all men, do not shrink from but accept, in their fullest meaning, these mysterious "fires" of gehenna, of which Christ speaks (kindled for purification), as in a special sense the sinner's doom in the coming ages. But taught by the clearest statements of Scripture (confirmed as they are by many analogies of Nature), we see in these "fires" not a denial of, but a mode of fulfilling, the promise--

"Behold, I make all things new."

Attention

My friend RainMusic just posted the following

Michelle Amirault - Celebration of Life (Obit)

Michelle Amirault, age 69, passed through the veil July 31, 2018. A celebration of her life will be held August 11, 2018 from 5 to 7PM at The Rotunda in Hermann, MO. 1015 Washington St. No viewing or burial service. Will have worship service. No flowers please.

Michelle Amirault is survived by her husband Gary, her daughter Elena, her brothers Mark, Robert, and Fred Aaron and her step sister Beth Giove and step-brother Wayne Nieberg. Michelle’s parents were Albert Aaron and Marian Sirasky. Michelle graduated from Northwestern High School in Hyattsville, Md. Her fondest memory from that time was being the high school reporter for a local radio station, WEAM. Michelle was born in Baltimore, Maryland, graduated from the University of Maryland to become a teacher. She taught for one year after which she joined her husband in advertising sales. They would form a company called Photographic Display Systems in which she was Vice-President/treasurer. She kept the most immaculate accounting books imaginable.

In 1984, Michelle had an encounter of the God-kind, she was made aware by the Holy Spirit that Jesus/Yeshua was indeed the Messiah, the Savior of mankind. This made things quite difficult for her considering she was raised Jewish and her husband, Gary, was a devout atheist. Her Christian friends thought it would take decades, if ever, for her husband to come to Christ, but they were wrong. God IS mightier than any atheist – Gary was loved into the kingdom of Jesus on Valentine’s Day, 1985. It was an incredible encounter. A Damascus Road experience. He became “Road Kill for Christ.”

Gary experienced the love of Christ in a dimension that exceeded the expectations of the various churches and Messianic Jewish Congregations they attended in the Baltimore/Washington D.C. area of Maryland. He experienced a love that truly loved everyone without exception. But this kind of love did not fit into the traditional Churches that taught most of mankind would go to eternal damnation in a place called Hell. Because Hell seemed clearly taught in the Bible translations Michelle and Gary were using and because all the churches they had visited taught eternal damnation, Gary and Michelle began to zealously beg anyone and everyone to “get saved” from Hell.

After 5 years of evangelizing a “turn or burn” gospel (which is no gospel at all), Gary told God he could take another step in the direction he was going. He asked God to just take him out, take him home. On that very day, he was given a set of booklets entitled “Savior of the World Series” by J. Preston Eby. These booklets taught that Jesus was truly the Savior of the whole world, that no one was going to be burned alive; that no one was going to “eternal conscious torment.” The booklets revealed that the early believers in Christ taught universal salvation through Jesus Christ. It was not until several centuries after Jesus’ death that the teaching of Hell began to dominate the Church. The booklets taught that critical errors were introduced into our Bible translations. If what was in those booklets was true, that would explain why what was supposed to be “good news to all mankind” was such bad news that Gary couldn’t preach and teach it anymore. The traditional Catholic, Protestant and Orthodox “gospel” is not victorious, it makes Jesus look like a miserable failure.

After this, Gary spent countless hours studying church history, words studies, comparing Bible translations, etc. and came to the conclusion that Jesus truly planned from the foundation of the world to save all mankind. He will not fail in His mission. Michelle and Gary started a non-profit ministry named “Tentmaker Ministries” which ultimately would publish a magazine, produce cassette tapes, CDs, DVDs, Bible Software, tracts, books and eventually create several internet sites dedicated to declaring what they would call “The Victorious Gospel of Jesus Christ.” These internet sites are: tentmaker.org, lovewins.us, and what-the-hell-is-hell.com.

Michelle and Gary would reach millions of people around the world with these various means. While Michelle is known in the local communities of Hermann, Montgomery City, Jonesburg and New Haven as a substitute teacher who always hoped one of the students would ask a question about God so she could legally spend the rest of the class period sharing with the class how much Jesus loves them, few know that Michelle was the backbone and heart of a ministry that reached millions around the world. And her love reaches into the hearts and minds of millions even today and will continue to touch hearts for many years to come.

Michelle loved Bible studies, loved to worship – she loved Jesus – she loved to love people. She filled thousands of requests for various materials from Tentmaker Ministries, kept immaculate accounting books, worked outside part-time jobs like house cleaning to make ends meet.

A woman called mother Teresa who became a saint in the Roman Catholic Church is said to have said, “We can do no great things, only small things with great love.” Michelle did many, many small things that most people who knew her never knew about. But they are great, great things in the heavens.

She loved much, always forgave everything, and was grateful for the smallest of things. Her smile radiated to everyone. She is missed by many.

She would like you to watch a video she made entitled:

Wrong! I do appreciate that little expression on the bottom of your name, Lon!"Abundantly above.." That is precisely the point: all you can ask or think falls abundantly below the Unlimited One, far, far below! I grasp that our God has been declaring through the mouths of the prophets and sages the Restitution of all things from the earliest ages! That Day is clearly before us in the Scriptures; one may not see it, but it is there staring us in the face!

The Master does indeed speak of a narrow gate & a broad path! We all are on that path until by His apprehension He says enough. Even then the broad path tends to squeeze us into lower realms of thought & being. One can be of the 12 and still declare "how can these things be?" We later day saints are equally discombobulated until by the Holy Ghost awakening takes place. The time on the Road cannot solve our problem, we must know the anointing!

You will get nothing from F.L. in disagreement. Growing in Him is in the present continuous tense of "be being". May He lead all of us into His glorious expansion!

  2. There is nothing in koine, nothing, that uses eternal/aidios in any aspect but the aidios God who indeed is eternal.

The following link gives the translations from numerous translators.

    https://www.biblestudytools.com/mark/3-29-compare.html

The Scripture in question most certainly is speaking of that which carries a penalty, a most severe penalty! Aionios is NOT eternal, but encompassing an age, whether long or short, but coming to a close.

    Young's Literal Translation=

"but whoever may speak evil in regard to the Holy Spirit hath not forgiveness -- to the age, but is in danger of age-during judgment;"

    The Bible in Basic English=

"But whoever says evil things against the Holy Spirit will never have forgiveness, but the evil he has done will be with him for ever."

    Weymouth New Testament=

"but whoever blasphemes against the Holy Spirit, he remains for ever unabsolved: he is guilty of a sin of the Ages."

    Rotherham=

"But, whosoever shall revile against the Holy Spirit, hath no forgiveness, unto times age-abiding,—but is guilty of an age-abiding sin:"

    Jonathan Mitchell N.T. Translation=

    http://www.greater-emmanuel.org/jmt/

"Yet whoever may speak injuriously (blaspheme; misrepresent maliciously) into the Set-apart Breath-effect (the Holy Spirit) continues not having a release (not holding a deliverance or a divorce; not possessing a forgiveness) – into the Age. But rather, he continues existing being one caught (or: held) within an eonian effect of a mistake (or: within a result of having missed the target in the eonian realm; in the midst of an age-lasting result of a sin or of error; in union with an effect of failure with respect to things which pertain to the Age)"

i'm so tired. mainstream Christianity is the mother of bad ideas... messed me up bad... but... it's God's glory to conceal a matter, and the glory of kings to search it out... what am i even DOING on a Christian message board?? sure, i'm a Christian, just not a popular one lol God told me a long long time ago, when i said that i like HIM but not Christianity... He said, and I quote "I know Christianity isn't the popular way, but....." and then He showed me that it was the strength and power of God in my BODY, my SOUL, my everything... it actually FEELS wonderful... so anyway, all these years, not knowing what God meant by it not being popular, when Christianity is THE MOST POPULAR religion in the WORLD... I now know that He meant TRUE Christianity... and there is but a few of us of 'the faith'... I'm just so tired, and now that i'm a TRUE Christian... I just want to rest for a while... you know? you guys fight with them on the thread, i will leave them with these words .... 'Come out of her, My people'

The bad ideas are from the enemy of Christ, not from true Christianity at all.
From 'fake' anything, sure. We in Christ are foreigners on this world, our citizenship is in heaven not on this earth. We are all surrounded by godless folk, the whole world being subject to the god of this world. Thus, mostly, "bad ideas".

When the Whole World Stinks

Do you remember the story of the sailor who over-imbibed and fell asleep at his table in the bar? His buddies smeared a bit of strong-smelling cheese dip on his moustache, which caused him to wake up and look around. He sniffed and then walked outside, sniffed again and came back in, walked out and back in one more time and finally sat back down in his seat. "It's no use," he said to his friend, "the whole world stinks!"

Ever felt that way? We have all experienced bad days and horrible situations. We've felt trapped, helpless and, at times, hopeless. We may have even believed that the whole world stinks.

But I like the tremendous way one woman has learned to approach living. She grew up in extreme poverty, but was privileged to be in a Sunday School class taught by a young woman named Alice Freeman Palmer, who was later to become president of Wellesley College. One Sunday, the teacher asked the children to find something beautiful in their homes, and then tell the other children about it the next Sunday.

The following Sunday, when the little girl was asked what she found that was beautiful at home, she thought of her impoverished condition and replied, "Nothing. There's nothing beautiful where I live, except . . . Except the sunshine on our baby's curls."

Years later, long after Mrs. Palmer's untimely death, her husband was lecturing at a university in the western United States. He was approached by a distinguished looking woman who fondly recalled that she had been a member of his wife's Sunday School class. "I can remember that your wife once asked us to find something beautiful in our homes, and that I came back saying the only beautiful thing I could find was the sunshine on my sister's curls. But that assignment your wife made was the turning point in my life. I began to look for something beautiful wherever I was, and I've been doing it ever since." That one suggestion turned her life around.

If you have been thinking your "whole world stinks," the daily habit of looking for something beautiful can help you see the good there is in the world, and transform your hope into the positive energy needed to build a life that counts.

How to change the world

The ninth week of SEAL training is referred to as Hell Week. It is six days of no sleep, constant physical and mental harassment and one special day at the Mud Flats.

The Mud Flats are an area between San Diego and Tijuana where the water runs off and creates the Tijuana slues—a swampy patch of terrain where the mud will engulf you.

It is on Wednesday of Hell Week that you paddle down to the mud flats and spend the next 15 hours trying to survive the freezing-cold mud, the howling wind and the incessant pressure from the instructors to quit.

As the sun began to set that Wednesday evening, my training class, having committed some "egregious infraction of the rules" was ordered into the mud. The mud consumed each man till there was nothing visible but our heads.

The instructors told us we could leave the mud if only five men would quit—just five men and we could get out of the oppressive cold.

Looking around the mud flat, it was apparent that some students were about to give up. It was still over eight hours till the sun came up—eight more hours of bone-chilling cold.

The chattering teeth and shivering moans of the trainees were so loud it was hard to hear anything. And then, one voice began to echo through the night—one voice raised in song.

The song was terribly out of tune, but sung with great enthusiasm. One voice became two, and two became three, and before long everyone in the class was singing. We knew that if one man could rise above the misery then others could as well.

The instructors threatened us with more time in the mud if we kept up the singing—but the singing persisted. And somehow, the mud seemed a little warmer, the wind a little tamer and the dawn not so far away.

If I have learned anything in my time traveling the world, it is the power of hope. The power of one person—Washington, Lincoln, King, Mandela and even a young girl from Pakistan named Malala—can change the world by giving people hope.

So, if you want to change the world, start singing when you're up to your neck in mud.

Well lets see what those who saw and heard Jesus speak have to say about that.

Jesus Christ is the saviour of ALL MEN, specially of those that believe. this command and teach

Which just happen to be also what the what all the Prophets taught.

Acts 3:21

Whom the heaven must receive until the times of restitution of all things, which God hath spoken by the mouth of all his holy prophets since the world began.

Jn.1:29

The next day John seeth Jesus coming unto him, and saith, Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world.

What those who heard Jesus speak taught.

Jn.4:42

And said unto the woman, Now we believe, not because of thy saying: for we have heard him ourselves, and know that this is indeed the Christ, the Saviour of the world.

and what the apostle taught.

2co.5:19

To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation.

1 jn.2:2

And he is the propitiation for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world.

1 jn.4:14

And we have seen and do testify that the Father sent the Son the Saviour of the world.

Just what greater testimony do you need before you will believe Jesus Christ is the saviour of the world?

Well lets see what those who saw and heard Jesus speak have to say about that.
As far as I can tell from your posts up to now, I don't think it is possible for you to see what those who trusted and believed in and followed Jesus had to say about this in a way that will help you (so far); (Yahweh willing, this too will pass) (the false beliefs in 'ur' that you appear to believe contrary to all Scripture) .....
Yahweh looks at the heart, and knows perfectly the thoughts and motives and intents of the heart of man, and His Word is sharper than any two-edged sword dividing (revealing the thoughts and intents of the heart) .....

Dear slaveboy:

"God is [the] Saviour of all mankind, especially those who believe/trust in Him. Command this & teach this."

Koine for especially = malista

Koine for only = monon

#1. God is Saviour

#2. He is not a potential Saviour: He IS Saviour.

#3. He IS Saviour of all mankind.

#4. He is Saviour "especially" of those who believe/trust in Him.

#5 Especially = malista.

#6 Only = monon.

The passage before us does not say>>>>>

God is Saviour of some of mankind, and only those who trust in Him/ who believe. Command this and teach this.
