When you try to tell people that you care about that they need to repent but they refuse to listen to your Christian theology and refuse to believe the gospel and want nothing to do with you any more or hate you because of it, I say good riddence. It sounds to me like you might have some unrepented issues in your life also. It's great that you believe, it's great you are saved, but let us continue to do good works as evidence of our faith and love for God.

Hebrews 10
(NIV) 19Therefore, brothers and sisters, since we have confidence to enter the Most Holy Place by the blood of Jesus,20by a new and living way opened for us through the curtain, that is, his body,21and since we have a great priest over the house of God, 22let us draw near to God with a sincere heart and with the full assurance that faith brings, having our hearts sprinkled to cleanse us from a guilty conscience and having our bodies washed with pure water. 23Let us hold unswervingly to the hope we profess, for he who promised is faithful. 24And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, 25not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another—and all the more as you see the Day approaching.

26If we deliberately keep on sinning after we have received the knowledge of the truth, no sacrifice for sins is left,27but only a fearful expectation of judgment and of raging fire that will consume the enemies of God. 28Anyone who rejected the law of Moses died without mercy on the testimony of two or three witnesses. 29How much more severely do you think someone deserves to be punished who has trampled the Son of God underfoot, who has treated as an unholy thing the blood of the covenant that sanctified them, and who has insulted the Spirit of grace? 30For we know him who said, “It is mine to avenge; I will repay,” and again, “The Lord will judge his people.” 31It is a dreadful thing to fall into the hands of the living God.

32Remember those earlier days after you had received the light, when you endured in a great conflict full of suffering. 33Sometimes you were publicly exposed to insult and persecution; at other times you stood side by side with those who were so treated. 34You suffered along with those in prison and joyfully accepted the confiscation of your property, because you knew that you yourselves had better and lasting possessions. 35So do not throw away your confidence; it will be richly rewarded.

36You need to persevere so that when you have done the will of God, you will receive what he has promised. 37For,

“In just a little while,
he who is coming will come
and will not delay.”

38And,

“But my righteous one will live by faith.
And I take no pleasure
in the one who shrinks back.”

39But we do not belong to those who shrink back and are destroyed, but to those who have faith and are saved.

John 14:21 "Whoever has my commands and obeys them, he is the one who loves me. He who loves me will be loved by my Father, and I too will love him and show myself to him."

John 8:31 Then Jesus said to those Jews who believed Him, "If you abide in My word, you are My disciples indeed."

Ps 119:9-11 How can a young man keep his way pure? By living according to your word. I seek you with all my heart; do not let me stray from your commands. I have hidden your word in my heart that I might not sin against you.

Pr 3:5,6 Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding. in all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight.

Do you attend a church? If so you should be able to make friends there. Maybe connect with a bible study group or try to get involved with church activities like picnics, fellowship meetings, etc. Hopefully your church offers those. If not perhaps you yourself could speak with the church leaders and coordinate such activities for fellowship.

There are two things that seem to prevent me from being lonely. First, I try to do as Paul taught and pray constantly (1 Thess 5:17). Second, I belong to a supportive church. I have no friends that I hang out with, but I serve in my church and find fulfillment in that.

I am no means by justifying my sinful actions when I do hang out with non-christian friends. I understand that we have to resolve all our sins . However, I believe is impossible to completely not ever sin ever again. because then we would be perfect and not Jesus every day as oppose to only one time or a few times. because we are sinful in nature. correct if I am wrong, I am just basing on my knowledge of the Bible. however, I am striving to be more close to God deapite my sinful struggles. it may be an excuse that I don't have much Christian friends because I guess I'm not trying hard enough but is pretty hard to get people to hang out with me . komo church goers are too busy with their families or lives to hang with me other than formal fellowship. I digress, if I don't need friends to fullfil my lonyless then how come I'm not fullfilled by Jesus despite my everyday intentions to seek him?

I don't understand why people say things like all you need is Jesus to stop being lonely when clearly in genesis it says, Then the LORD God said, "It is not good for the man to be alone. I will make a helper who is just right for him." Nuff said.

I guess I could have summed up my post better by saying be careful who you hang out with and what you do with them and how you influence them and how they influence you because... "bad company corrupts good character."

I guess if nothing else I can ask what you are doing for the kingdom of God?

I have to second this, I feel more fulfillment in being a serviceman for church or community or friends or family than I do just hanging out with people. I find myself being around people naturally this way too. I do get the occasional downtime where I wish I had somebody around but there's always something to do... I'm trying to come up with ways I can go witnessing to people when I have time to.

Or just find something interesting to study, and pray..

You are not seeing the Savior meet all your needs not because He is resisting you, but because you are resisting Him. That is the usual state of things. Even after we accept Him as Savior, we are still too filled with self will, independence, doubts and, most of all, hardness of heart. When Messiah told the apostles they had no faith, at times, He attributed that to hardness of heart.
"Faith works by love."

If you don't think you heart has any hardness, ask Him to show it to you. If you are like me, you could be kinda amazed at what you are shown. What looks good to us, compared to the world, is seen very differently when His holy light shines down.

As for "It is impossible not to sin" that isn't true. The Bible says we can live a life and be holy as the Lord is holy. In the Old Testament we see that the parents of John the Baptist were said to be blameless in following the Law. Don't you think people like Enoch and Elijah, John the Baptist himself, maybe Mary, and who knows how many others, also were that obedient?

If you are very healthy I would recommend a 24 hour water only fast once a week, asking for guidance, a softening of your heart, and for good companionship. Don't overdo fasting, though, as it can be weakening to the adrenals then.

thank you for you reply. I know have some hardness in my heart and ivhave to fast one day because I haven't in years . I still have desire of the flesh that is clouding my judgment when it comes to intentions to be good. please forgive my ignorance and forgetting that some people in the Bible did live sinless lives. I take that back.

There were and are many men of God who were often, frequently, alone, because the world we live in is so devoid and destitute of life (society is ruled by the god of this world).

There were some webpages with 'examples' or lessons in the last year showing this - if I can find those or new/ different ones I will post links or search terms for you.

What?! You don't know every last single thing in the Bible? Gasp! (Pssst. I don't either, none of us do.)

You have nothing to ask forgiveness for. You have been looking for help for noble, Christian, reasons.

As far as I know, there is not one "last SINGLE THING" in the Bible by itself that is worth knowing by itself, per se. I hate using art (because it is worldly/ of the world/ not of Christ) as an example, but think of a 3 or 4 year old in a huge monstrous museum in one gigantic room that has only one painting, or only one statue in it. Trying to memorize or analyze all the colors and patterns or curves or elbows or parts individually in any one such piece is done by some very ocd individuals, but not anyone else who is 'supposed' to be in some sort of (fleshly) awe or amazement or respect? or admiration of the so-called art. Thus even in the world, in the fleshly sinners, even they do not try to analyze or remember any one nor the last single thing separately about some work that men hold in high esteem (which God calls abhorrent, as His Word Says, btw) ....

RATHER BETTER (whew!) to see things simplicity like a little child trusting The Creator Yahweh and His Son Jesus, as Yahweh Reveals the Beauty and Marvel and Wonder of His Word with Understanding of Salvation
to little children !

BRILLIANT ! YAHWEH IS BRILLIANT ! UNAPPROACHABLE LIGHT !
Yet chooses to dwell with men, and in the hearts of little children who trust Him !

You are not alone. If you replace "hanging out with non-spiritual friends who go to clubs and bars" with "doing anything the world offers," rest assured that almost all followers of Christ go through this. There are a lot of different things you can do (e.g., spiritual disciplines), but how easy they are to do depends on your commitment to Jesus. How committed are you? You must make a rock solid, permanent decision whether Jesus will be 100% your Lord forever or not. Any hesitation you have makes everything harder. If you've made that decision, then you will have to give up everything that is harmful to you from God's perspective. God himself does not expect the impossible from you, but does expect you to do what is possible and he'll help you. Every time you make a decision "because God said so," it will get a little easier to make such decisions, although the consequences may stay difficult or painful for a long time.

I urge you to join Bible study and fellowship groups, and prayer groups if you want, with people about your own age or those you have things in common with. I've never met a church group that wouldn't welcome someone attending a different church, so you might even look at what groups other convenient-to-get-to churches have. You must choose to spend time with them (at least occasionally) to chat for it to be effective. You can try to do things you already like (including non-church-related things) with some of those people after you get to know them a little, which is what will really help. Ask all of them to pray for you at every opportunity.
