Lately I experienced things in my life which I found to be the works of God. I mean like little stuff that probably nobody else noticed, but for me they ment a lot, brought me joy and ensured me that God cares. Also one dream where I met Jesus.

I had many occasions when I wanted to share them here, but this thought popped up in my mind, so I need to ask: What if those things were ment only for me and He doesn't want me to share them? Is it even possible? I'm not sure. I would think that there is nothing wrong about sharing it, but wanted an opinion of someone else too.

Thanks for answering. God bless.

Just telling nice uplifting things is part of brotherly/sisterly love I think..

It may also lead others to notice and praise God for the little things in their lives too.

A continual lament in the Psalms, Psalms 35:28, Psalms 71:6, Psalms 71:14, Psalms 104:33, Psalms 145:1, is to praise our Glorious Lord continually.

There is nothing wrong with sharing testimonies. It would really depend on the situation though. Some people will respond to them well, others may laugh them off. I find if I go to share a testimony and feel an internal nudge to stop, that God does not want it shared in the specific circumstance. The bible tells us not to premeditate what we are going to preach/speak about, for the Spirit of our father will speak through us. Let the Holy Spirit lead you, in the sense that when you open your mouth to speak you allow God's internal leading to move you.

I think it not wise to share everything. Sometimes God heals you and tell you to "go tell no man."

What if you were healed and you tell those who are praying for healing and never get it? What if you get a house you wanted, and share it with people who are getting evicted or who live it shelters?

To them, your testimony could sound like bragging or cause them to question themselves.

I am careful about telling others about blessings......but whenever Im questioned about what i have I make sure to let them know that God gave it to me. If a hear one questioning if God can heal, I step in and let them know he can and this is what He has done for me.

Other than that, I thank God in secret or non-verbally...for the point of others to hear specific things that were done for me.

Pray for the Holy Spirit to guide you on whether to share or be quiet.

The Savior told us NOT to toss our pearls to the swine or give what is holy to the dogs. In Proverbs we are told to be discrete in evil times.

The tricky thing is that sometimes saintly looking people aren't so saintly, and sometimes those who act like pigs or dogs may be saved in the future. How can you tell which are which. Mostly seldom to never - unless the Holy Spirit guides you and enlightens you.

If God wants you to keep it under wraps, he has clear ways of letting you know.

"And when the seven thunders had sounded, I was about to write, but I heard a voice from heaven saying,'Seal up what the seven thunders have said, and do not write it down.'" - Revelation 10:4

"I must go on boasting. Though there is nothing to be gained by it, I will go on to visions and revelations of the Lord. I know a man in Christ who fourteen years ago was caught up to the third heaven--whether in the body or out of the body I do not know, God knows. And I know that this man was caught up into paradise--whether in the body or out of the body I do not know, God knows-- and he heard things that cannot be told, which man may not utter. On behalf of this man I will boast, but on my own behalf I will not boast, except of my weaknesses. Though if I should wish to boast, I would not be a fool, for I would be speaking the truth. But I refrain from it, so that no one may think more of me than he sees in me or hears from me. So to keep me from becoming conceited because of the surpassing greatness of the revelations,a thorn was given me in the flesh, a messenger of Satan to harass me, to keep me from becoming conceited." - 2 Corinthians 12:1-7
