Actually, in Russia, if you are not Orthodox, you can get jailed for discussing your religion in public. It is hardly a country that is friendly to Christianity outside the Orthodox Church.

Russia has many traditional Protestant minorities such as Lutherans (particularly Volga Germans) and Baptists. There are also some Methodists who are relatively new. But generally these groups are merely tolerated as long as they keep their religion within their church and don't discuss it openly in public.

Reading how America helped create the Russian oligarchy reminds us that the worse thing was not the interference, but the monumental stupidity of having an oligarchy as a worthwhile goal.
How can people educated in the best schools in America and even in the world be so dumb as to see that as a good idea?

Colin Powell was a member of the Bush administration, not part of the intelligence community. The Bush administration consistently misrepresented the intelligence regarding Iraq's WMD capabilities.

If he's saying that the intelligence communities claimed certainty about Iraq's WMDs capabilities, which members of the Bush administration repeatedly claimed, then yes, i'd call him a liar. He doesn't get into specifics in his 2015 statement, so he might get away with only telling a white lie here.

Intelligence reports were had strong caveats and qualifiers. Their assessments were "we believe Saddam has WMD" or "our best estimates are that he is restarting his WMD program". The Bush administration officials repeatedly made statements of "we know Saddam has WMD" or "we know that he is restarting his WMD program".
