That Our Faith Fail Not

Jesus always directed people to the Father in heaven.
"Turn to Yahweh" (repent)
Have faith in Yahweh (God) and in Jesus, Yahweh's Son, the Savior Messiah King of the Jews.

If people have faith in something else, anything else, instead of God,
then if their faith in that is 'strengthened/ supported/ built up,
it will be harder than ever to correct them , to heal them, to save them (though with God nothing is impossible, and His heart/hand is not short that He cannot help/save/heal).

This is important on the internet forums to remember and repeat, because most people's faith is in man (flesh/ self/ or others) , or weapons, or idols,
or other gods, or any of a number of things
instead of Jesus.

Only faith in Jesus and in God helps and heals and saves, and is pleasing to God.

Sad that faith in man's ways/ government/ agencies often prevents or forbids showing true faith in Jesus to others, in spirit or in truth --- faith in man's faulty sinful ways, even by all the force and power of government and man's law,
does not allow true faith in Jesus.

In this rapidly changing world, the mass media reports daily stories about men who disregard the law and devise evil, men who destroy for greed, and whose activities demonstrate neither love nor trust in God. Strengthen our faith, O LORD, for You are in control of our lives. Remove any fear from our hearts, for those we love, and for Your people everywhere. Shield us in the shadow of your love and guard us from danger. Lead us away from temptation, and help us to run from the presence of questionable activities or harmful influences. When we're weak, help us to look up to You and to hold on tight to the truth that You love us and want the best for us. In the power of the Holy Spirit, help us that our faith fail not. A daily prayer that "our faith would not fail." (Luke 22:32)

Interesting to note that despite Jesus' prayer, their fate did temporarily fail. They all abandoned him. But it's the long term that counts.
