What I meant by interchangable, is that on a New Moon, there is no Sabbath
Other lunarians disagree with you, and I have read them, and spoke with them. Who is right? You or they? Lunarians as a whole are not consistent, nor are they unified as they claim, not even upon this point.

but there is still a rest.
So you say, other Lunarians say it is not merely a 'rest', but is indeed a 'sabbath'. Who is right, you or they?

New Moon literally means first day of the month.
No, it "literally" means, "New Moon". It "signifies" the 'first day of the month' by implication.

And guess what is 14 days later, after a new moon?
I do not have to guess, since I have an exact chronological table from the Bible itself.

What comes 14 days later after the "New Moon", would depend on how you are counting, exclusively, or inclusively, ordinal, nominal, etc? If you mean the '15th' day of the month (14 days after the "New Moon"), then that day is the "15th" day of the month, and that's it, unless one of the seasonal feast days lands on it, or if the cycle of the 7th day sabbath from creation (Genesis 2:1-3; Exodus 20:8-11) coincides with the "15th" day of the month. The other option is when the Feast of Tabernacles (Leviticus 23:23-25) takes place, in the 7th month, at the New Moon, being the first day of the month, a yearly sabbath takes place in the same day, and is even possible (but does not have) to coincide with the 7th day the sabbath of God. Consider (assuming 30 day months):

(The Week) (001) (002) (003) (004) (005) (006) (007 Sabbath)

(5-6 Month) (027) (028) (029) (030) (1NM) (002) (003S)
(006 Month) (004) (005) (006) (007) (008) (009) (010S)
(006 Month) (011) (012) (013) (014) (015) (016) (017S)
(006 Month) (018) (019) (020) (021) (022) (023) (024S)
(6-7 Month) (025) (026) (027) (028) (029) (030) (1NMSY) (NM/7Sab./YearS Comb.)
(007 Month) (002) (003) (004) (005) (006) (007) (008S)
(007 Month) (009) (010) (011) (012) (013) (014) (015S)
(007 Month) (016) (017) (018) (019) (020) (021) (022S)
(007 Month) (023) (024) (025) (026) (027) (028) (029S)
(7-8 Month) (030) (1NM) (002) (003) (004) (005) (006S)
(008 Month) (007) (008) (009) (010) (011) (012) (013S)
(008 Month) (014) (015) (016) (017) (018) (019) (020S)
(008 Month) (021) (021) (022) (023) (024) (025) (026S)
(8-9 Month) (027) (028) (029) (030) (1NM) (002) (003S)

That is only when the New Moon takes place at the time that it does, and when the Months are exactly 30 days, rather than 29 or 31 days. The two calculations of time, (weekly) and (monthly) (and so also year), are differing.

And guess what is 14 days later, after a new moon?
In the matter of the final week of Jesus, the calendar looks like this (assuming 30 day months):

(The Week) (001) (002) (003) (004) (005) (006) (007 Sabbath)

(12-1 Month) (025) (026) (027) (028) (029) (030) (1NMS)
(001 Month) (002) (003) (004) (005) (006) (007) (008S)
(001 Month) (009) (010) (011) (012) (013) (014) (015SY)
(001 Month) (016) (017) (018) (019) (020) (021) (022S) [1 sabbath]
(001 Month) (023) (024) (025) (026) (027) (028) (029S) [2 sabbath]

(1-2 Month) (030) (1NM) (002) (003) (004) (005) (006S) [3 sabbath]
(002 Month) (007) (008) (009) (010) (011) (012) (013S) [4 sabbath]
(002 Month) (014) (015) (016) (017) (018) (019) (020S) [5 sababth]
(002 Month) (021) (022) (023) (024) (025) (026) (027S) [6 sababth]
(2-3 Month) (028) (029) (030) (1NM) (002) (003) (004S) [7 sabbath]
(003 Month) (005) (006) (007) (008) (009) (010) (011S)

Christ's Crucifixtion/Death - 014 (Passover, 1st Month Abib/Nisan) (not a 7 sabbath) (two preparations combine, 6th day of the week, and for feast)

Christ's Tomb - 015 (Unleavened Bread, 1st Month Abib/Nisan, 1st day, Yearly sabbath coincides with 7 sabbath), count 7 days - 021 last day of Unleavened Bread, Yearly sabbath (not a 7 sabbath)

Christ's Resurrection - 016 (Firstfruits/Wavesheaf, 1st Month Abib/Nisan), count 50 days, 7 sabbaths plus 1 more day unto Pentecost. (not a 7 sabbath)

Christ's Anointing as High Priest - 005 (3rd Month, Sivan) 50th day from Firstfruits. (not a 7 sabbath)

Of course I'm not ignorant of the MANY extinct and MANY modern calendars and no telling how many in between. I'm pretty sure you considered that already though. :)
Indeed, I have. The current calendar used in the united States still has the 7 day cycle from Creation. That has not changed.

The French Revolutionary Calendar attempted to change the week to 10 days, and for a while was used, but people became confused, more tired, and it ultimately failed as a humanistic experiment.

I mentioned the gregorian calendar because we use it, this forum is timed right with it, a big part of world industries and such all use it, example, even if we may use a Chinese calendar too, we'll still often use gregorian for all our shipping and receiving. Plus there are more readers than just yourself.
I understand all of that.

As for the thread on Colossians you recommended me to read some of, so do you think that I'm recommending to follow these days as per ritual and law? Because if so, you have grossly misunderstood me.
No, I gave you the link to demonstrate that Colossians 2 does not include the 7th day the sabbath of God, part of God's eternal Law, in the 4 shadowy ordinances:

daily meat and drink offerings
seasonal feastal days
monthly new moons
sabbaths of years

Agriculture also played its role and the Sun too, I'm also not saying the entire system revolves around the moon alone. I'm just answering the question of, when was the sabbath days in the bible.
No, you are basing when the sabbath was on, on a misconception, which cannot be supported by scripture, and has many grievous flaws in it, the Feast of Weeks (Pentecost) being just one.

The quickest way to recognize a close estimate is by simply looking at the moon.
No, since the moon runs on a track record of about 29.5 days, thus anywhere from 28-31 days. The weekly cycle of 7 days does not change. What is done by the lunarian is attempt to mesh the two time keeping devices together, instead of how they are as two time keeping devices. It would be akin to trying to mesh the hour and minute hand on a clock together to tell time. While at some points they coincide, they do not at all times do so.

Also I see you may be interpreting the 7 days of genesis 1 as being literal
It is literal. A person cannot have symbolic without the literal first being presented. See the lamb natural slain from the foundation of the world in Genesis 3:15,21; Revelation 13:8 and then see the Lamb spiritual in John 1:29,36.

Jesus himself refers to the literal days of Creation, Matthew 10:6, as in Exodus 20:8-11, Exodus 31:12-18; as does Moses in Deuteronomy 5:12-15.

If they are not literal, then there is a serious problem with the rest of scripture, including the New Heavens and New Earth.

and applied directly to our own days ? Forgive me if I'm wrong on that but I personally believe they are unspecified amounts of time but that's not a discussion for this thread.
You are indeed in great error. It is most defintely relevant to this thread and topic, since if the days of Genesis are 'unspecified amounts of time' (which you would have to ignore the clear text of Genesis to so say, and the rest of scripture and God's own words on it, Exodus 20:8-11), then there can be no true knowledge of keeping of time at all, since there is no foundation in which to judge, God's explicit time in Genesis being reduced to allegory. Yet, God is not the God of confusion, but of order and preciseness.

The moon was made on the 4th day. The sabbath of the LORD (God) is the 7th day, Genesis 2:1-3; Exodus 20:8-11. Thus the moon is not the foundation for calculating the 7 days, nor is it the calculation for when the sabbath of the LORD (God) is, since the Moon (unknown phase) was only 3 days prior.

If, as you presently hold to, that the moon was made in an 'unspecified amount' of time, then there are no phases for much of that time. What is also amazing, is that those who say 'unspecified amount' of time, will never accept the plain 24 hours of time. They simply exclude it from all possibility of that 'unspecific time'. They say millions or billions, or even thousands, or they may say seconds, but they automatically exclude the 24 hours.

Going by what you say, Sabbath is a few days after the moon day..am I understanding you correctly?
The Sabbath of the LORD (God), Genesis 2:1-3; Exodus 20:8-11, was 3 days after the creation of the Moon (unknown phase). The sabbath is rooted in God Himself, and His work, which includes the 4th day, but is not foundational to the 4th day, since the day is created, and God is the Uncreated.

Well, we don't know exactly where the clock was ticking when God set the moon in place, but it does say it was lighted up right?
No, the text says that the Sun and Moon, and so also stars, were to give light upon the earth. The text of Genesis doesn't specifically state whether the phase of Moon on the 4th day was sliver, quarter, half, or full or new. I could accept any, but the Lunarian must choose only one, and if the person says that the days are not literal, then they have just effectively erased all foundation for Lunarian time keeping. As I said, the Lunarians are not united on their theology, since none of the other Lunarians I have spoken with declares as you have done, in making the days of Creation non-literal. The other Lunarians I have spoken with all take Genesis literally.

That's not a new moon and could easily been three days prior to a full one..you and I wasn't there but I bet it woulda been cool seeing it. :)
You are correct, in saying, that we were not there. It is mere speculation upon any persons part, who was not there, to say which phase the Moon was in on the 4th day, and in truth, it would not matter which it was to me, since in scriptural time keeping, the 7 days of the week, the sabbath of the LORD (God) on the 7th day is not calculated based upon any phase of the moon.
