Since yesterday our little Community here has been in complete turmoil.
Yesterday there was a 'sudden death' discovered because the gentleman did not make his normal daily phone call . When the lady who should have received it called back there was no response.
My priest was contacted and he went to the gentleman's flat - broke in and spent the next many hours starting arrangements etc.
This gentleman was known to have medical problems and was only 43 and intended to get married in 2 months time
We will be having a Panachyda for him after Liturgy on Saturday - he's not really part of our Community - but the Russian priest is in Moscow at the present time.
With the just spirits who have reached their end, give repose to the soul of Your servant, O Saviour, keeping him in the happiness of life in Your presence, O You who love mankind.
