1. I grew up in a Christian home and believed with all my heart but stopped going to church when I was 15 after friends sowed doubts in me.
2. I meant "it's important that one is saved"
3. I understand it is a serious matter
4. I'm not as fearful as I should be but I would say I'm fearful of going to hell with people who mock God.
5. I'm sure heaven is nice and I would choose it over hell
6. I'm not running for my life. But I'm here because I need to understand.
7. I suffer and get depressed from my problems to this day. Some days I'm depressed and some days I don't mind because I'm nearly used to not caring about women - similarly, it's the fact that I wish I cared about them.
I would say I'm fearful of me being locked in hell forever with no escape.

So you did accept Jesus as your personal savior?

Why, if you are saved and know that is not your home?

Why, if you are saved and know that is not your home?
1: I one night asked Jesus that I accept that he died for me and I will let him be my lord.

2: I don't feel saved.

1: I one night asked Jesus that I accept that he died for me and I will let him be my lord.

That's what I've been looking for.

Romans 10:10 For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved.

Could this have been your salvation experience?

2: I don't feel saved.

Look, either you are saved or you are not. It doesn't matter if you feel like you are or not. I was in the same boat at one time. With enough study and research, I came to find that my salvation experience was a once and for all type of deal. If you have been saved once, you don't have a choice, you are going to go to be with God forever when you die.

You didn't have a choice when you were born into this life. So it will be when you depart from this life if you have truly accepted Jesus as your Lord and Savior and have been born of the Spirit of Christ.

Yes.. it's the Psalm which speaks of salvation which is what Jesus is, He is our Lord and Messiah. The Psalm shows salvation and Jesus very well.. you should read it again..

Psalm 91

1 Whoever dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty.

2 I will say of the Lord, “He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust.”

3 Surely He will save you from the fowler’s snare and from the deadly pestilence.

4 He will cover you with his feathers, and under his wings you will find refuge; his faithfulness will be your shield and rampart.

5 You will not fear the terror of night, nor the arrow that flies by day,

6 nor the pestilence that stalks in the darkness, nor the plague that destroys at midday.

7 A thousand may fall at your side, ten thousand at your right hand, but it will not come near you.

It keeps going, you should get your Bible out and read it in full.

While it sounds cliche, what your going through has a lot to do with age and hormones. We all go through a hard time in our teens in varying degrees.

God will help you if you ask Him to show you your need.. and after to save you in full knowledge.
The Psalms are so searching. :)

Andrew98:
Nail all your worries, problems on the Cross where Jesus shed his precious Blood for your sins. Let Jesus take all your cares away. You want to know how to get to heaven? Simple, believe with all your heart that Jesus Christ shed his blood on the cross for your sins. There is nothing that you need to do; there is no amount of good that you can ever do on earth to be reconciled with God Almighty. Jesus already did the work in your place, forever. Just believe in the Blood of Jesus Christ, that the Blood of Jesus covers all your sins, forever!

Ephesians 2:8-9 (King James Version):
For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:
Not of works, lest any man should boast.

1Corinthians 15:1-4 (King James Version) - This is the saving Gospel of Jesus Christ:
1. Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand;
2. By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain.
3. For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures;
4. And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:

John 14:6 (King James Version):
6. Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

Romans 3:25 (King James Version):
25. Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God;

Romans10:17 (King James Version):
17. So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.

So don't worry, now you know that if you believe in your heart and trust in the Blood of Jesus Christ, that when you leave this earth, you will be with Jesus Christ and God, our Heavenly Father, for Eternity!

I would encourage you to read the King James Bible everyday, even if it's only for a few minutes and a couple of versus. You can start with the Book of Romans and read to the Book of Hebrews.
Once you believe and trust in the Blood of Jesus Christ, the Holy Spirit will enter your body and dwell with you forever.
May God Bless You and Keep You Forever. See you in Heaven on that blessed glorious day when Jesus returns! - Amen.

As I have explained Andrew, You cannot base your salvation on feelings.
1 John 3:20 for whenever our heart condemns us, God is greater than our heart, and he knows everything.
John's First Epistle is certainly a most wholesome, searching book of the Bible, which is short but makes for very memorable reading. :)

When I die I don't know where I'm going to go. I have recently asked to God to let me know him etc but I do not fear God.
I am very laid back when this is meant to be a serious matter. I don't know if this is because I believe I suffer from depression and so maybe I'm numb to any feelings. It's like I know I should be saved but I'm not that interested and don't have the desire to have a relationship with God or anyone. I can't control my feelings so what do I do?
If you’re not interested, become an atheist! You won’t have to worry about where to go after death, or watch yourself to make sure you’re not committing any sins. It’s a kind of laid-back ‘faith’. On your depression - please seek professional help.

I haven't been on lately, I am the author of, The Realm, at https://www.amazon.com/Realm-Daniel-Mears/dp/1973382334n my blog is at, therealmbydanielmears.com so I have been working on some other stuff, but I love to see people awaken, questioning, seeking, because this is how you will find that yes indeed, all of this stuff about Christianity is real! Glory to God! Your are a smart person Andrew, this is the wisest thing you could do because once you discover the power of God revealed through the scriptures you will become fulfilled, empowered and discover the peace which surpasses all understanding. Some of the scriptures may seem a little confusing at first but it all falls into place eventually. I have several blog entries about faith, the word, which is not merely text on a page but the very living word of God, power ready to move and the light of God which is very real! God bless you in your very exciting quest! The Word of God is like a seed which grows within you once started, "but he that received seed into the good ground is he that heareth the word, and understaneth it; which also beareth fruit, and bringeth forth, some an hundredfold some sixty, some thirty." Matthew 13:233 May you be blessed; these forums are a great place to begin and grow.

It is a fearful thing to fall on the hands of the living God.
Understand though that all those who follow Christ will have sufferings in this fallen world but the Lord promises to be with those who have given their lives to obey the One who died for their sins.
To suffer is only temporary for all disciples will be with Him forever.

You will most probably be mocked and scorned if you become a Christian. All around the globe we, the body of Christ, are enduring persecution and being killed for our faith. But, the Christ referred to those living carnally as dead already, as those with ears that can't hear, with eyes but are blind. Jesus is the living empowerment of the Word. He came to the Jews first and then the gentile to show them the living power of God. I would not tarry or delay your decision on this matter. Be filled and live!

Andrew98 - Stay persistent in your prayers and keep asking Jesus to reveal your heart. Ask Him to help you with your doubts and unbelief. He is kind and will slowly reveal more and more to you if you continue to seek Him.

Because you have accepted Jesus, He dwells in you. Tell yourself that you are not defeated and you are a new person in Christ. Keep in mind that the enemy will fight for you so doubt will come your way if you choose not to fight it. Breathe. Rest in the Lord. It will keep getting better.

Thank you for your honesty Andrew98. There have been many times in my life where I felt cut off. You see this throughout the Bible also from Godly men like David and even some of the disciples. Feeling numb is not a healthy emotion...maybe talking to a pastor or counselor might help work through some of those thoughts and feelings. I am praying for you as you go on this journey. -Rachel
