Blessed be God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies, and the God of all comfort; Who comforteth us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort them which are in any trouble, by the comfort wherewith we ourselves are comforted of God. —2 Corinthians 1:3-4 (KJV)

Proverbs 18:6 comes to mind, although it may not be wise to implement that one. :D

The only time you can't win is when you're wrong. If you're right, keep forging ahead. Make sure you're right, though.

The truth is I don't know but I do know there is such a thing as justice. Job suffered so many things and after God gave him this scathing rebuke he told his worthless friends, you have not spoken rightly about me like my man Job. Moses waited 80 years for God to call him to service, knowing his whole life he was a child of promise. Sometimes it seems like a losing proposition, we wait in anxious expectation for the children of God to be revealed. Sometimes God makes us wait believe me I know it don't seem right. But do you want yo win now or meet God with a clear conscience and receive the praise that comes from God rather then men?

It might not be that simple, but then again we really don't know yet.

Grace and peace,
Mark

1 Samuel 30:6 When David was down, his men wanted to kill him and things looked really bad. David encouraged himself in the LORD. Then he was able to rally his men and go get all the stuff that was taken.

Also Proverbs 24:16 A righteous man falls down seven times and rises again.

thanks everyone...it appears and others that are often sceptical have also said that they think Satan is really attacking me at the moment. Your encouraging words from scripture are very helpful. Thanks
Sometimes the doubters are a bit like the Gore lawyers at the Florida recount in 2000, remember? depending on which district the recount was happening, the lawyers were using opposite arguments, to suit the situation...

Psalms 139:3

“Thou compassest my path and my lying down, and art acquainted with all my ways.”

2 Samuel 22:3

“The God of my rock; in him will I trust: he is my shield, and the horn of my salvation, my high tower, and my refuge, my saviour; thou savest me from violence.”

Psalms 3:3

“But thou, O LORD, art a shield for me; my glory, and the lifter up of mine head.”
Great verses there! My wife and I have read through the Psalms repeatedly.

Good verses there. @razzelflabben would be well advised just to keep reading the Word and trusting the promises of God - such as in these verses - and other things which tend to crowd into the mind can be set aside more easily.
