Lulz, all black people are not in inner cities area, a lot of them are not in inner city areas, but it's understandable, this is the racialized term used to describe black people without saying black people. The same goes for words like urban. Most black people I know did not grow up in inner city areas, especially those in the South, but for some reason when talking about black people, the comment is "inner city", I wonder if they even know what that term means.

And it's Democratic. Democrat is a noun, you don't call them Democrat cities, you call them Democratic cities. What are they teaching in schools these days?

A small percentage of blacks live in inner cities, and yet they are in ruins. And they are large-percentage black. Meanwhile, the black population overall has almost a 30% poverty rate.

You will find that I am not going to tiptoe around the landmines you lay down for me. Those are the FACTS. Do you like them? Have the Democrats just done a stellar job at addressing them? How?

Last I checked, the president is Republican and we live with those Republican policies that attack black families... oh sorry, I need to speak louder over this black man whimpering about the low unemployment rate (although it still remains higher for blacks). Perhaps racism is a little more than political party, but it was in the 1960s and 1990s when saw the greatest drops in poverty because strong federal programs. The desire of Congress to gut these programs simply exacerbates the problem, Europe understands this, that's why their poverty rates are lower.

And if you want to keep talking about black people, you don't need to keep saying inner city.

I will also not be word-monitored about the Democrat Party by means of directing attention away from their failures. I won't be word-monitored and I won't be intimidated by "Hey, don't say inner city that's racist!"

The fact is: the inner cities are populated by a high-percentage black population, the are mostly operated by Democrats and they are abject failures. I don't think this is JUST a failure for black people; I think it's a failure for America and it's unacceptable to me. It's offensive to me, as an American. It's people not living up to their human potential. And I'm not saying "white people need to come in and save them". Democrats have been trying to save them through welfare; you can make the argument that since we are a mostly white nation, that's "white people money" and that is NOT "helping". And anyway they don't need "help", as we see in history.

I would ask you what you want but I just won't enough said.

Generational welfare and mostly, the breakdown of the strong black family. The latter, in particular. An American tragedy. For all of us. And the welfare programs that ENCOURAGE that breakup.

Horrid.

The welfare state isn't about helping anyone. It's about keeping them three calories above starvation and dangling the carrot in front of their face to get them to keep voting a certain way. And Heaven forbid anyone dares leave the ideological plantation lest they be labeled a sell out.

What an incredibly perverted system we have, and people just keep voting for it.

I love when people try to attribute the "breakup of the black family." I'm guessing you're also an adherent to the absent black father myth. I like Zeus and Apollo too, but I don't think they're real either.

I thought you were a teacher. There is a difference between a noun and an adjective, it's not the Democrat Party, why is this so difficult? Inner city != black, but that's what people mean when they say inner city. It's a racialized statement that is unneeded.

The fact is: the inner cities are populated by a high-percentage black population, the are mostly operated by Democrats and they are abject failures. I don't think this is JUST a failure for black people; I think it's a failure for America and it's unacceptable to me. It's offensive to me, as an American.
Not all inner cities are filled with a high-percentage black population, yet you find many of the same issues of poverty, perhaps it's not because they're black. In fact, poverty seems to show the same misery in non-black communities, especially in rural areas. Oh, but I forgot, this is a black thing, it's special because it's black.

It's people not living up to their human potential.
I love these statements, the racialized "they're not living up to their potential." This is the same language where you blame people for being poor. It must be quite the journey from Jesus's words about the poor to the prosperity gospel garbage we hear today, but the pastor does need a new G7, so I guess we should continue to attack poor people for being poor while ignoring the institutional and systemic reasons that created those problems. Let's ignore denial of loans for homes and education that went on for decades and then say it's their own fault.

And I'm not saying "white people need to come in and save them". Democrats have been trying to save them through welfare; you can make the argument that since we are a mostly white nation, that's "white people money" and that is NOT "helping". And anyway they don't need "help", as we see in history.
The fun part about this statement is that Democrats = white people because black people are still infantilized and treated as a powerless group that can do nothing. And this belies the problem seen with many white people, whether they're part of the Democratic or Republican party, the notion that black people need to be treated as a monolithic group.

CNN's Don Lemon says more than 72 percent of African-American births are out of wedlock

http://www.politifact.com/truth-o-m...on-lemon-says-more-72-percent-african-americ/
Still subscribing to the absent black father myth. Carry on.

The dangerous myth of the 'missing black father'
Black Dads Are Doing Best of All

But I am not surprised by this myopic view. Much like the people that have convinced themselves the #WalkAway movement is real, they subscribe to myths about black people. This is unsurprising when one does not regularly interact with black people. I've seen the same thing when I see ignorant comments made about Muslims; they only make dumb statements about Muslims because they don't know any.

Take it up with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. It's their study.

Didn't bother to read the article or the government study that contradicts the myth.

Cool, Don Lemon's your friend? Where did you meet him? There must be a great story there.

Black journalist states CDC statistic SummerMadness doesn't like.

SummerMadness claims such statements are "unsurprising when one does not regularly interact with black people."

SummerMadness learns the journalist in question is, in fact, black.

Phil wonders if flash cards would be helpful next time.

The division in this thread is exactly why, at some point, a part of what is currently the USA is going to #Walkaway from the rest. But it won't be the sad faced social media dorks you'll have to worry about.
Will it be the happy ones? I hear they have cookies.

Not a myth. Politifact from the 2010 Census: 73% of black babies born out of wedlock. How many studies do you need to confirm how damaging that is for children--a dozen? A hundred?

I guess facts you don't like are "myths" but it really doesn't work that way.

You have no idea the connection I have with black people, do you? No, you don't.

But these are the typical Democrat tactics, see. In the face of facts, "that doesn't count". Why doesn't it count? You can't talk about the inner city, that's "racist". You can't mention single parenthood--no one knows why. You can't say that, you don't interact with black people.

Again. I'm not concerned with the landmines you're laying out. I have facts. You don't like the facts? Face them, do something about them, or just keep obfuscating, but either way, everyone can see what you're doing. That is for sure.

What does that have to do with absent fathers? The government study done on fathers shows black fathers are the most involved with their children... so again, you're repeating a myth based on an extrapolation.
