All Flesh and Revelation 17 and 19
The phrase "all flesh" is used only 4 times in the NT

Here are a few verses from the OT:

Isaiah 40:5

The glory of the LORD shall be revealed,
And all flesh shall see it together; [Luke 3:6]
For the mouth of the LORD has spoken.”

Zechariah 2:13
"Hush!, all flesh before Yahweh, [Revelation 8:1]
that He is roused from His holy habitation

Strong's Number G4561 matches the Greek σάρξ (sarx), which occurs 151 times in 130 verses

Luke 3:6

"And shall-be-seeing all flesh the Salvation of the God"

John 17:2
“as You have given Him authority over all flesh,
that He should[fn] give eternal life to as many as You have given Him
.

I find it rather interesting that out of the 130 verses, #4561 is used in the NT,
it is used only in 3 verses of Revelation.

Revelation 17:16
And the ten horns which thou sawest upon the beast, these shall hate the prostitue,
and shall make her desolate and naked, and shall eat Her flesh and burn her with fire.

It appears that these are those that are in that Great City shown in Revelation 17:16?

Revelation 19
18 that ye may eat flesh of kings, and flesh of chiefs of thousands, and flesh of strong men, and flesh of horses, and of those sitting on them, and the flesh of all — freemen and servants — both small and great.’

21 and the rest were killed with the sword of Him Who is sitting on the horse, which [sword] is proceeding out of His mouth,

and all the birds were filled out of their flesh.

Actually it's 5 times but is not found in Revelation 17 or 19.

"all flesh"
Luke 1 verse found 1 match
John 1 verse found 1 match
Acts 1 verse found 1 match
1 Corinthians 1 verse found 1 match
1 Peter 1 verse found 1 match

"flesh of all" is used in Rev 19 but it's used in a much smaller context regarding birds eating the flesh of various kinds of people that fought against Christ which is different from a literal meaning of "all flesh" in many of the others times it is used.

Just finding all the verses in the bible that use a word such as "flesh" is not deep at all but is scathing the greater faculties that lie with the character of God.

There is no substance here, no argument or revelation. It's just "flesh".

So that settles that then, right? Not

I never derailed this thread. I pointed out that you aren't saying anything yet. You could easily have something to say and something for us to talk about. I'm all ears. What do you have to say about all that "flesh" stuff?

Good post and thanks for that info.

We know [or most do I think] that Revelation 19 is from the prophecy of Ezekiel 39:17

Ezekiel 39:
17 "And thou son of adam!" thus says my Lord Yahweh,
"say thou! to bird of every wing, and to all of beast of the field:
'be assembled ye! and come ye! together ye from round about on Sacrifice of Me which I sacrificing for ye,
a great Sacrifice on Mountains of Israel,
and ye eat flesh and ye drink blood.
18 Flesh of mighty-ones ye shall eat, and blood of princes of the Land ye shall drink....." [Revelation 19]

Revelation 19:17
And I saw one Messenger standing in the sun, and he cries-out in great voice, saying to all the birds/orneoiV <3732>, the ones flying in mid-heaven,
"hither! be ye being gathered/sun-agesqe <4863> (5744)! into the Supper/deipnon <1173> of the Great God.
18 That ye may be eating flesh of kings......
[Zephaniah 1:17/Ezekiel 39:17]

We can safely assume that those targeted by the birds of the air, were/are not saved....

apparently they stomped on the inexplicable grace of God.

John 17:2
“as You have given Him authority over all flesh,
that He should[fn] give eternal life to as many as You have given Him.

Revelation 17:16
And the ten horns which thou sawest upon the beast, these shall hate the prostitute,
and shall make her desolate and naked, and shall eat Her flesh and burn her with fire.

It appears that these are those that are in that Great City shown in Revelation 17:16?

John 17:6 I did manifest Thy name to the men whom Thou hast given to Me out of the world; Thine they were, and to Me Thou hast given them, and Thy word they have kept;

John 17 is talking about the Hebrews that had followed the Father's Law to the Son. It's true that Jesus has authority over all flesh, but that doesn't mean that all flesh is able to hear Jesus' voice. His sheep have ears... in fact, it seems that spiritually, only His sheep have ears. Because God also says that they have ears and hear not, to the ones God calls "My people." It seems very much like Jesus came to speak, so that the Lost Sheep could find Him and be found by Him. Today, those Lost Sheep consist of Judah/Benjamin, too, because they fled from Jerusalem when the Temple was defiled and destroyed. And since the races have always mixed themselves, Lost Sheep may be hidden in plain sight until the beast comes to make war on them... and starts off by marking his own followers, to be able to tell which cannot be marked by the scorpion's tail of Revelation. The sealed 144k have a mark that no one can see with their eyes.

Revelation 17 says that Babylon sits on many waters... these are also the 7 hills... or even techtonic plates. The "full of names of blasphemy" are the same name of blasphemy that is upon the beast and all of his kings. It is Babylon alone who is responsible for creating that name. When they find out what it is, they will kill her for that reason alone.

Thanks for your input.
The word is actually 7 mountains, not hills.
For example:

Luke 23:30
"Then they shall be beginning to be saying to the mountains<3735> 'be falling upon us' and to the hills/bounoiV <1015> 'cover us'". [Hosea 10:8]

3735. oros or'-os probably from an obsolete oro (to rise or "rear"; perhaps akin to 142; compare 3733); a mountain (as lifting itself above the plain): -hill, mount(-ain).
1015. bounos boo-nos' probably of foreign origin; a hillock:--hill.

I think I may have discovered what the burning mountain in Revelation 8:8 is symbolizing, for those interested: [I also do a lot of posting on the Christian Scriptures board, so I have a dozen threads going on......]

https://www.christianforums.com/thr...ning-cast-into-the-sea-trumpet-blast.8071203/

Hebrews 12
18
For ye have not come to a mountain that can be touched and to a blazing fire, and to darkness and gloom and whirlwind,
19
and to the blast of a trumpet and the sound of words which sound was such that those who heard begged that no further word be spoken to them.

Revelation 8:8
And the second Messenger trumpets,
and as it were a great mountain burning with fire was cast into the sea:
and the third part of the sea became blood;

The 7 mountains it says are 7 kings. The 7 kings are the 7 Babylons WITH their city. Every Babylon has a new city state from which it rules and that is how each Babylon is established. I wrote a book about it and explained what each of the 7 kings are in history.

The 7 mountains it says are 7 kings.

Mine doesn't say that:

Rev 17:9 And here is the mind which hath wisdom. The seven heads are seven mountains, on which the woman sitteth.
Rev 17:10 And there are seven kings: five are fallen, and one is, and the other is not yet come; and when he cometh, he must continue a short space.

The 7 mountains are the seven heads of the first beast and there are TEN kings not 7, within those 7 mountains. These 7 kings are past versions of a beast system where some have fallen in the past and some had yet to arise. The 7 mountains are not partially fallen and one is falling and some still yet to come...they all are in tact and unfallen from the time they exist with the beast until the beast is destroyed. Never are five of these mountains in a fallen state. That's how we know that the 7 mountains are not these other 7 kings. A bad translation is responsible for that error.

A bad translation on your part. It's not "there are" but "they are" meaning their identity is tied to each other.
