Peace, protection and direction can be asked of You, Father, in and of themselves, but there is a more fundamental and important prayer, that when answered will bring all those things and more. I pray the this son will come to know You as both Savior and Lord in such a way that he truly puts the worship of You first in his life. May his focus be You. May he put You on the throne of his life, in the center of his life, and may he regulate his job, his social desires, his love interests, his hobbies, and everything else in relation to You and Your will for his life. Proverbs 3:5-6; Matthew 6:33; Mark 12:30-31. Amen.
