Matthew 23:20-22- “Therefore he who swears by the altar (Jesus, Son of Man) swears by it (him) and by all things on it (him). He who swears by the temple (YHWH, Holy Spirit, Son of God) swears by it and by Him (YHWH, Holy Spirit, Son of God) who dwells in it. And he who swears by heaven (true Father God) swears by the throne of God (The true Father God) and by Him who sits on it.

Parable of the Prodigal Son, Jesus (Son of Man) younger brother, YHWH (Son of God, Holy Spirit) older brother, Father (true Father God) (The always truly, fully omniscient one from the beginning) (The one who always was and is "all" and in all from the beginning)... YHWH is not the Father spoken of in the parable but the older Son, Jesus the younger Son, both equally loved and favored by their/the/our Father God in heaven... This parable is a "perfect picture", I think, into what the true Father God is like in his personality...

Jesus, as a man, was Son of Man, but also was Son of God (YHWH/Holy Spirit), or that's what he (Jesus) was claiming by calling himself both...

They became one "new man" (or God), like the true Father God (The always truly, fully omniscient one from the beginning) (The one who always was and is "all" and in all from the beginning), at the cross (Ephesians 2:15) (The God of the Law or OC (YHWH/Holy Spirit/Son of God) and the God of Grace and the NC (Jesus, Son of Man))...

YHWH by himself, in the OT, was not fully omniscient, but very near it, and Jesus was not as well, but very near it, not by themselves anyway, not till they became one at and after the cross (Ephesians 2:15)... Both were the chosen Son's of God, the chosen ones of God, to be (our) God, by the (their) Father and got their power(s) and authority from God their Father (prodigal son)...

Jesus broke YHWH's heart, and is what made YHWH/Son of God/Holy Spirit "join" with Jesus at the cross and become one new God/Man, Man/God (Ephesians 2:15) with him (Jesus, Son of Man) and Jesus is what made YHWH come back to be with man as Holy Spirit... YHWH disrupted the environment around Jesus at times, and at the cross, being heartbroken at the cross, and possibly being upset or even angry at or wrathful with him (Jesus) at other times... Maybe...

YHWH was Jesus's and the Holy Spirit's "past" as God, they were are both, both the Son of Man and Son of God and became one at the cross (Ephesians 2:15)... At which point they only became together like their Father God, the true Father God, the "always truly, fully omniscient one from the beginning", They (YHWH/Christ) became as that one (the true Father) is and always was, then, at that point, and is who they are now and after the cross...

Now, I want to make it very very clear, in case some get it twisted YHWH is not Satan, and the Holy Spirit (YHWH) is not Satan (Job 1 and Job 2) and Jesus is not Satan, and YHWH never did anything wrong and was always holy and righteous and just and good and right always... I want to make that "very clear."... And Satan is not, nor ever is, or will he ever be, any part of the trinity at all, nor is he God or even a god at all... Nor did Jesus (Son of Man) get any of his power from Satan, but God the Father, or God the Holy Spirit (YHWH/Son of God)... (Luke 11:15-23) (Mark 3:22-30) (Mark 11:28-33) (Matthew 12:24-32) (Matthew 21:23-27)...

(Matthew 12:24-32)- By whom do your sons expel them (demons)...? By the power of Satan, or by the power and authority of God the Father ((The always truly, fully omniscient one from the beginning) (The one who always was and is "all" and in all from the beginning)...? Not by Satan, but by God the Father or God the Son (Holy Spirit/YHWH)... This why your sons will judge you...

Even Satan is not able to do a single thing without getting his power/authority from God the Father, or God the Holy Spirit (YHWH/Son of God) (Job 1, Job 2) and he also tried to get it from Jesus (Son of Man) (all three God) as well... Cause he is not a God at all but is a disobedient malicious angel, or "created" creature or being (Job 1, Job 2) by God the Father to oppose us, Jesus, and YHWH...

(Luke 12:8-10) (Mark 3:28-29) (Matthew 12:31-32) Blasphemy against the Holy Spirit (YHWH) will not be forgiven, but speaking against Jesus the man, or the Son of Man, can be forgiven, but not speaking blasphemy about YHWH (Holy Spirit, Son of God)...

Comments...?

God Bless!

That's too much of a stretch. You're saying Jesus "squandered his wealth in wild living." Lk 15:13 And that the Holy Spirit objected to his return.

That doesn’t seem to be what the Bible tells, because Jesus said on the cross:
"Eli, Eli, lima sabachthani?" That is, "My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?"

How am I saying that the Holy Spirit objected to his return...?

His spiritual wealth yes... Spent it on sinners, gentiles, heathens... YHWH did not...

YHWH was conflicted (the enmity) by him (Jesus), and was torn over him (Jesus) and had a decision to make... (Ephesians 2:15)...

God Bless!

YHWH was conflicted by joining with him (Jesus) or saving him, or resurrecting him, and yes, had abandoned him in that moment at the cross... But did join with him (Ephesians 2:15) by the end, or at the end, or in the end... And decided to have fellowship with man again because of it/him (Jesus)...

God Bless!

You liken the Holy Spirit to the older brother in the parable of the prodigal son. Have you read the parable? There you go.
I liken YHWH to the older brother in the parable, and Jesus to the younger, and the Father to the Father, and wonder if the H.S. was not YHWH...

There was a "enmity" that existed between YHWH and Jesus, that was settled at some point, and they became "one" at some point... (Ephesians 2:15)...

I don't understand the parsing. You say ,"Jesus (Son of Man) younger brother, YHWH (Son of God, Holy Spirit) older brother," So to you Jesus is not the Son of God? Rather that the Holy Spirit is the Son of God? And that there's some kind of enmity between the two? You lost me.

No he was YHWH, which is why he is also the Son of God (and Son of Man) (as a man) cause they were or became or always were "one"... Jesus was claiming to be both, and he is/was both... Remember that is was the Holy Spirit who impregnated Mary... And the Holy Spirit who came down and remained upon (with) Jesus at this baptism... And forsook him for a time at the cross... And resurrected him afterward, and became one with him (again) but in spirit this time...

The Son of Man was Son of the Son of God (H.S.) while still, and as a man, but not as Spirit... then they truly became one (new person) (New God) (Ephesians 2:15) even in spirit at that point as they were before he (Jesus) became a man...

As men, and in this fleshly life here, we are all son's of the Son of God... But, when we die, and if we get to go to heaven, we become his (Jesus) and their (Jesus/YHWH/H.S.) brothers and serve the Father God then, (And the king on the throne who is (then) our brother)... As spirit(s) (and family) in heaven...

God Bless!

Many of your theories are contrary to orthodox theology about the TRI-UNE GOD.

God the Father, God the Son, God the Holy Spirit...united as ONE in spiritual essence as ONE Divine DEITY.

The THREE of the Godhead are DIFFERENT Persons
...spiritually discernible has having different NAMES, RANK, ROLE. MISSION, FUNCTION, ETC.

Oh the Mysteries of the REAL and spiritual TRI-UNE GOD!

God the Father is Divine / Deity.

God the Holy Spirit is Divine / Deity.

God the Son, Jesus the Divine Messiah, is Divine / Deity.

In spiritual essence and nature, GtF*GtHS*GtS, are united and ONE.

Colossians 2 ....
9 For in Him all the fullness of Deity (TRUE GOD) dwells in bodily form, (TRUE MAN)
10 and in Him you have been made complete, and He is the head over all rule and authority;

Colossians 1 ....
16 For by Him all things were created,
both in the heavens and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or rulers or authorities
—all things have been created THROUGH Him and FOR Him.
17 He is BEFORE all things, and
in Him all things "hold together".
18 He is also head of the body, the church;
and He is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead, so that He Himself will come to have first place in everything.
For it was the Father’s good pleasure for all the fullness (of Deity) to dwell in Him,
20 and through Him to reconcile all things to Himself,
having made peace through the blood of His cross;

John 17...
24 Father, I desire that they also (disciples), whom You have given Me,
be with Me where I am,
so that they may see My glory which You have given Me,

In many ROLES / FUNCTIONS, God the Father RANKS ABOVE both God the Son and God the Holy Spirit.

For example:

Genesis 1:26-28 (NASB)...ALLOWS for a PLURAL GOD
26 Then God (Elohim - plural - pre-existent one) said,
“Let Us make man in Our (spiritual) image, according to Our (character) likeness;

Mattthew 3: 16-17: The Beginning of Jesus' Ministry: A glimpse of the TRI-UNE GOD
As soon as Jesus (God the Son) was baptized (immersed in river Jordan), he went up out of the water.
At that moment heaven was opened, and he saw the Spirit of God (God the Holy Spirit)
descending LIKE (in the form of) a dove and lighting on him.
And a voice (God the Father) from heaven said, "This is my Son, whom I love; with him I am well pleased."

Mark 9:7
Then a cloud (God the Holy Spirit) formed, overshadowing them,(Jesus + 3) and a voice (God the Father) came out of the cloud,
“This is My beloved Son, listen to Him!”

John 14:26 (NIV)...a new promise by Jesus...a snapshot of the TRI-UNE God
"When the Counselor (God the Holy Spirit) comes,
whom I (God the Son/Jesus) will send to you from the Father (God the Father),
the Spirit of TRUTH (God the Holy Spirit) who goes out from the Father (God the Father),
he (the Spirit of TRUTH) will testify (to the spirit of Man) about me. (God the Son/Jesus)

John 14:26(NASB)
26 But the Helper, the Holy Spirit,
whom the Father will send in My name,
He will teach you all things, and
bring to your remembrance all that I said to you.

Matthew 28: 18 - The End of the Ministry - Post Resurrection and Pre-Ascension... The Great Commisssion
Then Jesus came to them (disciples) and said, "All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me.
Therefore
a. go and
b. make disciples of all nations,(convert unbelievers)
c. baptizing them (saved believers) in the name
of (God) the Father and
of (God) the Son and
of (God) the Holy Spirit,
and d. teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you.
And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.

Colossians 2 :8-9;
For in Christ all the fullness of the Deity lives in bodily form,and you have been given fullness in Christ, who is the head over every power and authority.

Colossians 1 :15-19
For God was pleased to have all his fullness (of the Deity) dwell in Him,and through Him to reconcile to Himself all things, whether things on earth or things in heaven, by making peace through his blood, shed on the cross

Phillipians 2...The Kenosis...Diety poured out into perfect flesh without loss or change in Deity

Isaiah 45:7 (NASB)
The One forming light and creating darkness,
Causing well-being and creating calamity;
I am the Lord who does all these.

Romans 15:30 (NIV)...in prayer
I urge you, brothers, by our Lord Jesus Christ (God the Son/Jesus)
and by the love of the Spirit (God the Holy Spirit), to join me in my struggle
by praying to God (God the Father) for me.

2 Corinthians 13:14 (NIV)...in goodbyes
May the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ (God the Son/Jesus) ,
and the love of God (God the Father),
and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit (God the Holy Spirit) be with you all.

I've heard some say that Jesus was the Son of God only in that he had the Holy Spirit, much like we also are sons of God in that we have the Holy Spirit. But it's kind of a denial of the deity of Christ. I think the JW's have that idea.

No, JW's think that YHWH is the Father, and Jesus is the Son, (though they don't think as highly of the Son as they should), and they know little to nothing at all about the Holy Spirit, and don't include him much in much of their beliefs...

And they live in perpetual fear of YHWH... Which blinds them from the truth...

JW's deny the deity of Jesus.
And change Scripture into their own special "bible" to remove proof of Jesus' Divinity.

Truth:

Colossians 2 ....The Uncomparable Christ
9 For in Him all the fullness of Deity (TRUE GOD) dwells in bodily form, (TRUE MAN)
10 and in Him you have been made complete, and He is the head over all rule and authority;
