Hello,

I am currently experiencing much pain and fear and unrest because of satan. I have psychosis and obsessive thoughts and Satan attacked me recently and since then I am suffering. I had delusions of being a very evil person and that God hates me. Satan made me think that he is good and I prayed to him. Then wicked stuff happened in my life. It's very bad and I don't even know how to think anymore as Satan causes me to think good is evil and evil is good, like the bible prohibits to think. I trust God but can't pray to him somehow, it's not working and I always feel resistance. I can't go to church as I live in a group home on the outskirts of a city and don't have money. Please help me with prayers and advice.

Thank you and God bless you,

Daniel

Try to fast, it's the one of the best solutions to free yourself from such things, you have to do it for God with the sole purpose of getting closer to Him.The best fast is when you go without food for a certain time, only water, in all this time you have to seek God, pray, read about Him, repent and ask for forgiveness, you will obtain it.

I tell you something, this is the main goal of Satan, to proclaim himself as God, to be worshiped as God and to be the one who is good in people's eyes, that's how the world is going to find its end.Evil is evil and it never changes.

And additionally, you yourself pray the prayer Jesus gave you and me to pray each day in Matthew chapter 6. It includes that we be delivered from the evil one! Pray this each day, knowing you are praying exactly the prayer Christ specifically gave you in order that you pray it, a perfect prayer, in perfect accord with God's will, and pray knowing it will be given to you.

Also make a daily routine of reading in the 4 gospels, reading through, daily, at least a few verses of what Jesus said, His words, which have a cleansing effect on us, invaluable. Here's a place to begin --
Matthew 4 NIV

Praying for you brother. I've been under heavy attack myself, and will share what's worked for me.:

1) Keep your eyes on Jesus. The devil has succeeded in getting you to focus on sinful things, rather than resting in Christ and standing upon the word of God. Attacks such as obsessive thoughts work like a Chinese finger trap - the more you struggle against them, the worst they get; it's almost like it feeds off of that. Just be still and know that God is God (Psalms 46:10), surrender everything to Him and just rest in Him - let Him take care of it. Psalms 25:15 states: "My eyes are ever on the LORD, for only he will release my feet from the snare."

Whenever those evil thoughts come, recognize them as not being yours - they're a temptation from the devil to get you frustrated. Just ignore them and let them pass in faith, knowing the devil will flee if you resist him (James 4:7).

2) Fill your mind with scripture. Spend more time focusing on the promises of God, rather than the lies of the devil. Whenever the devil throws a lie at you, counter it with the truth of God's word (i.e. with a specific verse in the Bible). For instance, if you think God hates you, just think back at what God did for you at the cross.

God knew every sin you would commit, including praying to satan, and payed for it through the death of His Son, Jesus (John 3:16). He covered everything (including future sins) to remove any barrier that would keep you from Him, and He did that because of the immense, unfathomable love He has for you. If you're feeling resistance in prayer, just keep pressing in. God hasn't stopped loving you, nor has He abandoned you (which He promises to never do). He is listening, but the enemy seems to be oppressing you. Just press in by faith, or even try fasting.

3) Praise God for His promises. Hold the devil in derision (scoff at him, because he is a liar and a coward, who was defeated at Calvary - Psalms 2:4), and rejoice in God for what He is going to do, based on the promises in His word. His promises aren't based on how we feel about them, but based on who God is, and His unchanging character. No weapon formed against you shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17); declare that boldly out loud when you are attacked.

Hope that helps!

Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not upon your own understanding, look to Him in all your ways and He will show you the path, bro.

There is Power in the Name of Jesus Christ.
If you are too weak, just say "Jesus Christ".

I also agree with this.

I would pray this prayer, Daniel:

Lord Jesus, I have been very confused but I believe that you are the way, the truth and the life. You were sacrificed on the cross for our sins, and your blood can cleanse me and make me clean. Please forgive me for all of my sins and come into my life as my Lord and Savior. Please send the Holy Spirit to live inside of me and make me into a new person. Please heal my heart and change me so I can live for you and serve you only. I believe you will do this according to your word. Thank Jesus, Amen

Thank you for all your prayers and comments. They helped me and today a christian man came into our group home and we prayed together and things got better. I had really thought that I am headed to hell, but now I trust in God again. Somehow I had given the devil too much power and my schizo weirded mind couldn't help it. I wish I had trusted God sooner. But I am a baptized lutheran christian and this is it. I have faith in God. I had tried to make the devil good and save the world, but the damn thing needs to be destroyed, and only God can do that, not me. God is wonderful and a great Father if you have him. He is deservedly the Lord and he helps us humans out of pure love.

The Bible contains the answers, the power, the guidance, the wisdom, the fellowship with God, and everything else your spirit desires. It is the lifeline that God throws out to You that God is on the other end of. Grab hold of it. Read it. Look for God to speak to you through it. Read Psalms and Proverbs, John and Philippians. Take it in as a spiritual transfusion, allowing it to conform you to the image of Christ, Romans 12:2. Follow it's instructions and watch your life be transformed by the power of God. Lord, may You motivate and guide this one in the way that You would have them go. Amen.
