Lots.
Jesus said,'If you have faith as small as a gain of mustard seed, you could say to this mountain move into the valley.'

Have you noticed the valleies being filled in, cos I haven't.
Jesus's miracles were done for a purpose, to show that he was God. Any prayer request we make has to be to bring glory and honour to God.
If you prayed for a million dollers, who would get the glory?
Look at the health and wealth preachers, who is getting the glory, cetainly not God.

What about performing a miracle? With this I want to say that, can we, as believers in Christ, say to a sick human being, in Jesus's name, be healed? Not for fame, not for getting rich, not for anything in this world, just for the glory of God, having a powerful desire to help our neighbour? Have you every done something like this? Do you believe that it's possible? I do, but.. what holds us back?

John 14:14 If you ask anything in my name, I will do it.

Is there any qualifiers?
Yes, "in my name." We read over that because the Christian world doesn't understand what "in your name" means. They believe, or at least act, as if his name (what we call him) has to be said in order for God to hear or act. But name in Hebrew means character, reputation, and authority. So to ask in His name is to ask according to His will, within the scope of His authority and character, and in a manner that adds to His reputation. If we need reliable wheels we can ask and God will provide... but if we ask for a Corvette we are not asking in His name because a sports car designed to exaggerate personal status is a fleshly request and that stands outside the scope of His character AND... because we claim to be His, actually takes from His reputation because we are supposed to represent and reflect Him on Earth.

James 1:6-7 But he must ask in faith without any doubting, for the one who doubts is like the surf of the sea, driven and tossed by the wind. For that man ought not to expect that he will receive anything from the Lord,

But it still needs to be "in my name" i.e. in my will, in my authority, in a manner consistent with my character, etc.

Would and could you derive His Character from His Laws.
I think so. When He says, "Don't do ____" He has His reasons but usually whatever that thing is, stands against His character to some degree. For example... He calls a man laying with another man as he would a woman, an "abomination," right? But why? Well, one of God's traits is that He is a God of life and there is no life that can be produced when a man lays with a man. And because that is fact, we also then can see that this particular act is purely fleshly and self serving, also things that stand against His character. On the other hand, when God gives permission to do certain things, you can bet those things are in harmony with His character. And seeing character = name in Hebrew.... then the commandments do define His name (character) AND obeying them exalts His name and not obeying them profanes His name.

Yeshua gave this instruction specifically to His Disciples during His "Last Supper" before they were later empowered by the Holy Spirit of YHVH (being first observed on Shavuot with tongues of fire above their heads and later speaking in other languages of God's Good News).

12 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father.
13 And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son.
14 If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it.
16 And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever;
26 But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.

Is there any reason why Yeshua's words (verse 12) are no longer applicable for today's born again Believers having the indwelling presence of the Holy Spirit of YHVH ?

I am a born again believer but I personally don't believe I have the indwelling holy spirit....I believe I will have it one day when my transformation takes place...but now I walk as the spirit leads me ...in truth ..in love ...etc . .I believe the holy spirit works in us ....and the holy spirit gives us gifts ....I don't have any exceptional gifts but I have seen a few miracles ...I believe were performed by his spirit...

But I believe the indwelling of Hashem spirit is a promise yet to be performed in us when our transformation from flesh to spirit takes place ....

Romans 8:19

When Yeshua spoke these words (vs 12) to His Disciples at His "Last Supper" was He referring to their ministry beginning at Shavuot as Apostles OR is both Luke 17:20-21 and John 14:12, yet to be realized in the Apostles in the future when Yeshua has returned and His Kingdom is established on earth?

12 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father.

I believe the disciples received in part that manifestation of works ...like being able to speak and testify in other languages and heal and even impart gifts by hand ...

But yes the greater works is yet to be manifested when the new creation promises is fulfilled ....when the sons of Hashem are manifested ...when the flesh becomes spirit ...

It makes me wonder what will it be like to become a child of hashem in the flesh .. And what that will be like when it takes place....

Yahshua explaination of the kingdom not coming with observation most likely referring to his first advent ..with his presence on earth and his ministry begun. it was as if the kingdom of heaven has suddenly appeared ... And was upon them.. .with signs of its beginnings.

We know signs will prelude the second advent .Matthew 24

Yes. It has to be within God's will. If I ask God to make the head cheerleader, of whom I am insanely jealous and hate her hate her just hate her, die a horrible nasty death, even if I ask it in Jesus name, God is not going to do it.

The gift of the indwelling Holy Spirit is for us now. We will not be resurrected unto eternal life without it (Romans 8:11).

John 14:17, 23; Romans 8:9-11; 1 Corinthians 3:17; 1 Corinthians 6:19; 2 Corinthians 13:5; 2 Timothy 1:14; 1 John 4:4

Have you ever asked your Heavenly Father to give you the gift of the Holy Spirit? Have you ever had hands laid on you to receive the gift of the Holy Spirit? If not, I would not put it off. It is not too late.

Yes I have asked and yes I have had hands laid on me and I've been baptized in his name....I walk now by my faith

I believe the spirit works in me by obeying the spirit ..through the words of the new covenant ...and bearing fruit ....love joy peace suffering forbearance etc ..walking in his will ...doing what my father yahshua would do ...

Then you have the indwelling Holy Spirit. The Spirit is not working on you from the outside, but from the inside. You are the temple where the Spirit resides.

annointing followed by supernatural signs and wonders (1 Corinthians 12:1-11)?

I see no reason to limit this power to the 12, although such power on a wide scale basis may have been limited to the former rain of Acts 2. I believe the latter rain is yet to come and may be on an even greater scale. In between, however, there have been sporadic showers of miracle working power from the Holy Spirit. Such showers are reported in other countries in the far east, Africa, etc.
