Leviticus 19:33-34

33 And if a stranger sojourn with thee in your land, ye shall not vex him. 34 But the stranger that dwelleth with you shall be unto you as one born among you, and thou shalt love him as thyself; for ye were strangers in the land of Egypt: I am the Lord your God.

Exodus 22:21 Thou shalt neither vex a stranger, nor oppress him: for ye were strangers in the land of Egypt.

America as we know it is very young compared to other countries. This land belonged to the Native Americans . All kinds of wars have happened on these lands and very ugly ones. When anything is front stage like migrants right now, there is only one place to find answers.

This land was never our land , God created it and my Cherokee ancestors lived here. Then my Irish ancestors came here looking for a better life.

This will not be popular in this land of pride. If anyone person thinks God does not love all those people as much as he loves us , we do not read the same Bible. We took this land from a people and came from other lands ,we where migrants with bigger guns and armies.

If anyone thinks God can not take this land back, then we do not read the same Bible. If anyone person thinks , we ourselves could not become migrants again , we do not read the same Bible. Buckle up and Suit up...We are all strangers in God's land...

We where to show the people Who's planet this is and how to know God... Yellowstone , a hurricane , a flood , a drought was to remind us Who this land belongs to...

So the Bible advocates open borders? Didn't God define the BOUNDARIES of the nation of Israel? Didn't he say not to intermarry with the nations around them? Didn't God tell the Israelites to utterly annihilate some of the nations around them, men, women, children, chickens, dogs, cattle?

Why the selective quotation of Scripture?

God is not opposed to "walls".

To answer some of the questions Jesus did away with borders it all became about our Bodies and Souls and the Temple. Galatians 3:28There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus.Colossians 3:11Where there is neither Greek nor Jew, circumcision nor uncircumcision, Barbarian, Scythian, bond nor free: but Christ is all, and in all.

Jesus came to give us a new covenant. Jesus did not come on a search and destroy combat mission. He came as a teacher and healer.

John 10:10 (WEB) The thief only comes to steal, kill, and destroy. I came that they may have life, and may have it abundantly.

What does that have to do with border control issues in the United States?

We took this land from a people and came from other lands ,we where migrants with bigger guns and armies.
In Jesus, we no longer are who we were. And we are citizens of the one nation of Jesus, of all of us who are ruled by the theocracy of God's peace in our hearts >

"And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to which also you were called in one body; and be thankful." (Colossians 3:15)

If anyone thinks God can not take this land back, then we do not read the same Bible. If anyone person thinks , we ourselves could not become migrants again , we do not read the same Bible. Buckle up and Suit up...We are all strangers in God's land...
All things belong to us who are God's children > 1 Corinthians 3:20-23. Our identity is not with some one country on this earth.

No. There is a distinct "wall" in Revelation.

Walls are not evil. Those who necessitate them are.

"Oh, Great Spirit, whose voice I hear in the wind, Whose Breath gives life to all the world.
Hear me; I need your strength and wisdom.

O Great Spirit of the North, who gives wings to the waters of the air and rolls the thick snowstorm before Thee,...............
O Great Spirit of the East, the land of the rising Sun, Who holds in Your right hand the years of our lives................
O Great Spirit of the South, whose warm breath of compassion melts the ice that gathers round our hearts,..............
O Great Spirit of the West, the land of the setting Sun, with Your soaring mountains and free,........................

Ezekiel 37:
9 Then He said to me, “Prophesy to the breath; prophesy! son of man, and tell it that this is what the Lord GOD says:
Come from the four winds, O Breath, and breathe into these slain, so that they may live
!”

This is a favorite movie of mine, good actors and soundtrack.
I especially like Graham Greene and Thin Elk in it.

CROW HORSE: "No. Not just a track.
You gotta listen to the trees, man. To the leaves. To this sand, you FBI's kicked all up. You gotta listen to the earth."

What a beautiful tribute to such a wonderful, sweet man! I wished I could have met him and had the chance to speak with him ever since I saw the movie, Thunderheart.
One of my all time fave movies that I own and cherish. Thank you, Bruno, you did a wonderful job with this.

Agree.
If I was ever to translate 1 book of the OT, it would be Ezekiel. One the most challenging books in the Bible [and goes perfectly with Revelation]
Notice in both Ezek 8 he is taken up by his head in spirit to Jerusalem and is told to dig thru a wall

Ezekiel 8:
3 He stretched out what looked like a hand and took me by the hair of my head. Then the Spirit lifted me up between earth and heaven and carried me in visions of God to Jerusalem, to the entrance of the north gate of the inner court, where the idol that provokes jealousy was located.
[Revelation 17:3 And he carries me away into a wilderness in spirit.....]
6 “Son of man,” He said to me, “do you see what they are doing—the great abominations that the house of Israel is committing—to drive Me far from My sanctuary? Yet you will see even greater abominations
.”

Then told to dig thru a wall:

7 Then He brought me to the entrance of the court, and I looked and saw a hole in the wall.
8 “Son of man,” He told me, “dig through the wall.
So I dug through the wall and discovered a doorway.
9Then He said to me, “Go in and see the wicked abominations they are committing here
.”

And again in Ezek 37:

Ezekiel 37:
3 Therefore, son of man, pack your bags for exile. In broad daylight, set out and go from your place to another as they look on. Perhaps they will understand, though they are a rebellious house. 4 Bring out your baggage for exile by day, as they look on. Then in the evening, as they look on, go out like those who go into exile.

5 While they watch, dig through the wall and carry your belongings out through it. 6 And as they look on, lift you bags to your shoulder and take them out at dusk; cover your face so that you cannot see the land. For I have made you a sign to the house of Israel.”

Good post.
John the Revelator must have been good buddies.
This passage in Ephesians is so awesome, I get goosebumps reading it because a similar measurement is shown in Revelation 21concerning the New Jerusalem:

YLT) Ephesians 3 [1st Church in Revelation 2]
14 For this cause I bow my knees unto the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, 15 of whom the whole family in the heavens and on earth is named, 16 that He may give to you, according to the riches of His glory, with might to be strengthened through His Spirit, in regard to the inner man,

17 that the Christ may dwell through the faith in your hearts, in love having been rooted and founded, 18 that ye may be in strength to comprehend, with all the saints, what [is] the breadth, and length, and depth, and height, [Reve 21:15]
19 to know also the love of the Christ that is exceeding the knowledge, that ye may be filled — to all the fulness of God;

Revelation 21:
15 And he who is speaking with me had a golden reed, that he may measure the city, and its gates, and its wall;
16 and the city lieth square, and the length of it is as great as the breadth; and he did measure the city with the reed — furlongs twelve thousand; the length, and the breadth, and the height, of it are equal;
17 and he measured its wall, an hundred forty-four cubits, the measure of a man, that is, of the messenger;

This is intriguing.....in verse 14 where he says he bows his knees to the Father of the Lord Jesus Christ.

THIS is priceless. I've never noticed it before. he is specifying the Father. It's RARE that any mention of this or studies done on it.
