I would find anyone obsessed with attacking anyone annoying, I think.
The republicans during the previous administration must have annoyed you to tears.

It is all about the danger you pose others. I try not to sin. Sometimes I stumble. But Obama was going to withhold funds from schools that wouldn't let boys, who said they wanted to be girls, shower with girls, and as far as I know, he'd do that right now if he could.
So Obama is a greater sinner than the President.

So our sin is not as bad as his, so we have the right to attack him?
He's the President of the United States. We have the right to and in fact, the moral obligation to criticize him when he does things we think are bad or unbecoming for a leader of our nation.

Don't forget, we're his boss now. If your boss doesn't like the job you're doing do you get to throw his own sins at him in an attempt to shut him up? How long do you think you'd keep that job if you did?

I was reading the other day something that somebody posted about Chinese telephone company getting fined multiple times over a billion dollars for illegal trading practices with the US. Then the next article linked was about Donald tweeting good things about the company because they were investing in one of his Asian resorts.
This would be pretty corrupt, if true, and very, very newsy.
Instead, it is all wall to wall Stormy Daniels.

Everybody already knows that Trump is a sinner when it comes to cheating on his wife. I imagine his wives know it most of all, because he would have been cheating with them on the previous wives.
It speaks to his character, and it is important enough, I guess, when electing a president.
Now it is just titillation though, schadenfreude of people enjoying the misfortunes and sexual embarrassments of another.
That is all gossip is. It also usually involves some kind of sexual titillation too, on behalf of the gossiper, because the talk of sex is what makes the gossip stimulating in the first place.

That is why gossip is a sin too. Gossipers seek to ruin the reputation of another for their own vicarious pleasure.
In the case of Trump, he doesn't even have a reputation. Everybody knows the kind of life he has led with all his womenfolk. He has been in the news for thirty years, maybe more.
From the days of Chuck and Di, we have been exposed to the fact that powerful men often lead very seedy lives.

But this is not news. It is what Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn criticized about the West in a 1978 Harvard speech about having too much information, and there needing to be a right not to know.
Gossip is like pouring diarrhea into the listener's ear. It is constant. Be it Whitewater, or corruption in the Trump White House, this is corruption that we need to know about. It is about potential abuse of power. But when it comes to white spots on dresses, this is too much information.
Gossip is not about news or freedom of the press. It is about titillation and schadenfreude.

Too much information.

I have to chuckle a little about my Democrat friends. Someone will accuse Donald Trump of having committed a sin years ago, and the Democrats will seem to be so angry, when in fact, my Bible tells me we’ve ALL sinned. Instead of being angry, maybe the Democrats should ask, “Why do people gossip so much?”

Well now, you're right that all folks sin. The whole point of your thread appears to be to snark about Democrats while complaining about them gossiping about Trump & to stir up strife. It's also dishonest. Trump commits sins every dang day, and that's the focus of most reasonable folks. The adultery with Stormy Daniels isn't just a sin of the past on account of how he has continued to lie about it, sin about it, in the present day. He perpetually is breaking the 9th commandment, bearing false witness. Constantly stirring up strife that is deeply damaging to our country, our relationship with our allies, our witness as Christians. He did that with his foolish antics with disinviting the Philadelphia Eagles, on account of his massive pride & not being able to handle that the majority had no desire to meet him. That wasn't them
being disloyal to their country, that was them refusing to support someone who has been abusive to their colleagues. To try to dress up what was completely unpatriotic of Trump as patriotism was manipulative as all get out. He continued to push a false & foolish narrative. On account of him doing that, Fox News followed his lead, tried to present Christians who were kneeling in prayer on the field as having knelt in protest. They at least had the integrity to apologize on account of that. Trump has been harsher on football players than he has on one of the cruelest dictators in the world. He literally shrugged when Fox News pointed out that Kim Jong-un had his own kin murdered, starved his own people.

Did you chuckle for 8 years when folks like Trump accused President Obama of having been born in Kenya, call him the antichrist?

Someone has to stand up for Donald.

Why not stand up for Christ & His teachings instead? The main reason I'm opposed to Donald is that he constantly is acting totally contrary to Christian values, while paying lip service to Christians.
