Why were they CHOSEN then SCATTERED and then GATHERED; WHY?

(Deu7:6 KJV) For thou art aholy people unto the LORD thy God: the LORD thy God hath chosen thee to be a special people unto himself, above all people that are upon the face of the earth.

(Deu7:7 KJV) The LORD did not set his love upon you, nor choose you, because ye were more in number than any people; for ye were the fewest of all people:

(Deu7:8 KJV) But because theLORD loved you, and because he would keep the oath which he had swornunto your fathers, hath the LORD brought you out with a mighty hand, and redeemed you out of the house of bondmen, from the hand ofPharaoh King of Egypt.

(Deu7:9 KJV) Know thereforethat the LORD thy God, he is God, the faithful God, which keepethcovenant and mercy with them that love him and keep his commandmentsto a thousand generations;

(Deu7:11 KJV) Thou shalttherefore keep the commandments, and the statutes, and the judgments, which I command thee this day, to do them.

(Deu7:12 KJV) Wherefore it shall come to pass, if ye hearken to these judgments, and keep, and do them, that the LORD thy God shall keep unto thee the covenant and the mercy which he swore unto thy fathers:

(Deu7:13 KJV) And he will lovethee, and bless thee, and multiply thee: he will also bless the fruitof thy womb, and the fruit of thy land, thy corn, and thy wine, andthine oil, theincrease of thy kin,and the flocks of thy sheep, in the land which he sware unto thy fathers to give thee.
------- THEN FOR SOME REASON--------
---------EVERYTHING CHANGED-----------
Why?
(Ezek 36:17 KJV) Son of man, when the house of Israel dwelt in their own land, they defiled it by their ..own way and by their doings:their way was before me as the uncleanness of a removed woman.

(Ezek 36:18 KJV) Wherefore I poured my fury upon them for the blood that they had shed upon theland, and for their idols wherewith they had polluted it.

(Ezek 36:22 KJV) Therefore say unto the house of Israel, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Ido not this for your sakes, O house of Israel, but formine holy name's sake, which ye have profaned among theheathen, whither ye went.

(Ezek 36:24 KJV) For I will take you from among the heathen, and gather you out of all countries, and will bring you into your own land.

(Ezek 36:31 KJV) Then shall ye remember your own evil ways, and your doings that were not good, and shall loathe yourselves in your own sight for your iniquities and for your abominations.

(Ezek 36:32 KJV) Not for your sakes do I this, saith the Lord GOD, be it known unto you: be ashamed and confounded for your own ways, Ohouse of Israel.

Bear in mind that from the beginning the Israelites were offered two roads in which they might walk:

“See, I am setting before you today a blessing and a curse: the blessing, if you obey the commandments of the Lord your God, which I command you today, and the curse, if you do not obey the commandments of the Lord your God, but turn aside from the way that I am commanding you today, to go after other gods that you have not known. And when the Lord your God brings you into the land that you are entering to take possession of it, you shall set the blessing on Mount Gerizim and the curse on Mount Ebal.
~Deuteronomy 11:26-29

Read the entire passage of Leviticus 14:26-46 for there he tells them all that he will do to them if they do not follow in his ways. And indeed, both the blessings he did for them through David's lineage and the curses he brought to them through Ephraim's. But even the tribe of Judah was punished for their time of punishment had come for all their iniquity as well. Though they had the enduring steadfast love of God in the places to which they had been driven according to verses 44 and 45.

Now as for the "chosen ones" we see that a new covenant was made. The new covenant in Yahshua's blood. And these are truly chosen as it says here,

But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for his own possession, that you may proclaim the excellencies of him who called you out of darkness into his marvelous light.
~1 Peter 2:9

And these are being saved daily until His return, that is Yahshua:

Behold, I am sending for many fishers, declares Yahweh, and they shall catch them. And afterward I will send for many hunters, and they shall hunt them from every mountain and every hill, and out of the clefts of the rocks. ~Jeremiah 16:16

The Lord is not slow to fulfill his promise as some count slowness, but is patient toward you, not wishing that any should perish, but that all should reach repentance. ~2 Peter 3:9

But as for what will happen to these people in the last days that is left in Revelations to understand and it is straightforward as to its understanding.

I found the following and I don't think these are the verses you were referring too.

28 Whither shall we go up? our brethren have discouraged our heart, saying, The people is greater and taller than we; the cities are great and walled up to heaven; and moreover we have seen the sons of the Anakims there.

29 Then I said unto you, Dread not, neither be afraid of them.

30 The LORD your God which goeth before you, he shall fight for you, according to all that he did for you in Egypt before your eyes;

Please cut and past the verses you intended for me to read.

I believe he is referring to all of chapter 28 of Deuteronomy at once.

I believe he is referring to all of chapter 28 of Deuteronomy at once.

I googled it and have the whole thing on my screen. It's a lot of reading. Are there some specific verses I should be interested in that is in line with our discussion?

I did notice a lot of "You will_____"

It's the same exact idea as the Leviticus 14:26-46: the curses with which he would curse them but also in the same chapter all the blessings that he would bless them with. So if you wanted a single place for those two perspectives then Deuteronomy 28 would be a good read.

Ok Kevin, let’s get to the core of this discussion.

The Israelites were gathered in 1947 ad. This is, in my opinion, judgement day.

In your own words, are they or are they not obeying God's teachings?
They are not...right now. They will though. The reinstatement of Israel is far from judgment day however. But it is the beginning of the return of God to Israel through the return of its people. Phase by phase they will return. But none of this is wrong or bad. This is necessary that all the scriptures would be fulfilled. The temple in Jerusalem must first be rebuilt and the reinstatement of the regular evening and morning sacrifices BEFORE the coming of the lawless one. The man of lawlessness actually requires the temple to exist in order to commence his 42 month reign. This man of lawlessness is NOT an Israelite but is born out of Nineveh for so it has been prophesied here:

From you came one who plotted evil against Yahweh, a worthless counselor. ~Nahum 1:11

Now he does not rule out of Iraq for it says this:

In his place shall arise a contemptible person to whom royal majesty has not been given. He shall come in without warning and obtain the kingdom by flatteries. ~Daniel 11:21

The kingdom of the North is the beast, the 8th Babylon and so this is the nation from which he rules but since it says that "royal majesty" is not given him, that he gains his place wrongfully. It says elsewhere that he puts down 3 of the 10 kings which make up the 8th Babylon in order to take power. Therefore I believe that the original 10 kings does not include Iraq for this reason but is probably some new form of the EU and a New World Order type of rule.

But in regards to Israel, this worthless lawless one needs it to complete his course. He however has nothing to do with the temple itself or its service but he comes in like any other time of his life as a tyrant.

The Israelites actually experience the grace of God through Yahshua. Israel becomes a Messianic state and honors Yahshua as King of Kings and Lord of Lords before all this dreadful evil passes. But all this takes too much to show through scripture so I'm just trying to briefly give you the right picture.

Your welcome
Keven, I have read some more and it is horrific and damning words. I feel for them and just ask that they return to the Lord and ask for forgiveness. I am sure the Lord will grant their request.

28:61 Also, every sickness and every plague which is not written in the book of this law, Jehovah will raise up upon you until you are destroyed.

28:62 And you will be left few in number, whereas you were as the stars of heaven in multitude; for you did not listen to the voice of Jehovah your God.

28:63 And as Jehovah exulted over you to do you good and to multiply you, so will Jehovah exult over you to make you perish and to destroy you; and you will be torn off the land which you are entering to possess.

28:64 And Jehovah will scatter you among all the peoples, from one end of the earth to the other; and there you will serve other gods whom you and your fathers have not known, mere wood and stone.

28:65 And among those nations you will have no rest, nor will there be a resting place for the sole of your foot; but Jehovah will give you there a quivering heart and eyes failing with longing and a languishing soul.

28:66 And your life will be hung in suspense before you, and you will dread night and day; and you will have no assurance of your life.

28:67 In the morning you will say, Oh that it were evening! and in the evening you will say, Oh that it were morning! because of your heart’s dread with which you will dread and because of the sight before your eyes which you will see.

At least there are a lot of "I will" and "you will" words which means all is not lost yet!! At least not all of them. Some of them have passed and were fulfilled and still others are coming. Still they have the right to choose and I only hope they make the right choice.

as I see it

No I assure you that all of these things have been fulfilled already by the time of the deportation to Babylon in about 597BC and also in the Greek Diaspora. They have been doubly fulfilled and now it is time for the return of God to Israel.

There has been said a theory that the Holy Spirit has been moving west across the face of the globe, spreading the gospel message and that now it has only been in Asia for a little while but it is starting to move into the middle eastern area. This idea is supported under the time that Paul and his companions had tried to go into Asia but were met with fierce resistance and opposition. That was the time Paul saw a vision of a man in Macedonia calling to them to come to them quickly, which was west.

So now it is in Asia and it is spreading through there. We have much work to do in Asia still, if we are to move into the middle east but even that is beginning now. But soon the return of the Holy Spirit will make its way back to Israel from where it started and this will mark the beginning of the last days.

I've been searching for the truth for about 42 years now, looking for answers to the tough questions that nobody was able to answer.

GOD creates all light, darkness, peace and evil Bible Gateway passage: Isaiah 45:7 - King James Version " I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the Lord do all these things." So it is proper and right to attribute evil to GOD. He creates it all. GOD's evil is righteous while our evil is corrupt. But how can we support Isaiah 45:7? With the Book of Job! Job did not foolishly charge GOD. After he had lost everything, Job did not foolishly charge GOD. https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Job+1%3A21-22&version=KJV and Bible Gateway passage: Job 2:9-10 - King James Version Job's wife knew who did this to her husband... v9 "Then said his wife unto him, Dost thou still retain thine integrity? curse God, and die." his reply was a righteous answer: v10 "But he said unto her, Thou speakest as one of the foolish women speaketh. What? shall we receive good at the hand of God, and shall we not receive evil? In all this did not Job sin with his lips."

Israel was brought out of captivity into the land GOD promised them and he promised to bless them with healthy children, battle... you go one way.. the enemy will flee 7 ways... So from the time of Judges (300 year period) and a 500-550 yr period of 1st and 2nd kings, 1st and 2nd Chronicles.. was about 800-850 year time frame whereby Israel went after Baal and the Grove, Chemosh, Moloch/Molech (ancient Christ-mass) worship. Constantine in 325AD brought Christ-mass worship into the church to protect the Roman empire from the Goths, Visigoths, Celts, huns and Nordic tribes from destroying the empire. He did so by bringing in their Ancient Christ-mass worship into the church in Rome. This was one of two punishments.

But Israel too, went after Baal and the Grove, ancient Christ-mass, which, started From Babylon.. remember.. Babylon the Mother of all harlots. So GOD divorced Israel Bible Gateway passage: Jeremiah 3:8 - King James Version and he's now married to his church. But GOD caused Israel to sin by going after the false gods so he could go after his church, his believers. But he used Assyria to take northern Israel and used babylon, Nebuchadnezzar to take southern Judah into captivity for two reasons. First, for NOT obeying GOD by giving the land her sabbaths every 7 years, hence punishment of 70 years of captivity in Babylon. Then this is where it gets really good... only several thousand actually returned to Israel after the captivity. Many had become wealthy in the delta area between the Tigris and Euphrates. it was prime land and many jews didn't want to leave everything behind, go back to Jerusalem and start over. So estimates are about 50,000 returned to Judah. So the 70 weeks of Daniel. This was a punishment that is being exacted on Israel for going after the pagan gods. There were 4 decrees given. in the medo/persian empire, when a king gave a decree, it was in stone so to speak. the king himself nor any following king could undo it. So Cyrus gave the first decree to rebuild the temple (decree #1). Darius gave a second decree to reinforce the first decree (#2). Artaxerxes gave a decree to refurbish the temple with: priests, menorah, priest garments and more (#3). The Final decree was given again by Artaxerxes to rebuild the city which begins the 70 weeks of Daniel, Bible Gateway passage: Daniel 9:24-25 - King James Version. This 4th decree to rebuild Jerusalem is the one that starts the clock of the 70 weeks of Daniel and it stops when Christ makes his triumphal entry into Jerusalem... the 69th week. the 70th week is commonly referred to as the seven year tribulation period.

In Hebrew the word "evil" has no connotation of sin as we think of it in our day. The word is actually more closely understood as "mishap." This is seen everywhere in the scriptures.

Remove vexation from your heart, and put away pain [same word as evil] from your body, for youth and the dawn of life are vanity. ~Ecclesiastes 11:10

This is the message we have heard from him and proclaim to you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all. ~1 John 1:5

So we understand from this the necessary understanding of that verse you quoted: he creates light and forms calamity.

Israel was brought out of captivity into the land GOD promised them and he promised to bless them with healthy children, battle...

Every promise God made to the Israeli's came with conditions. If they failed to abide by those conditions God's promises would become null and void.
Here is a list of some of the things God told them to do--------------
(Mal 3:5 KJV) And I will come near to you to judgment; and I will be a swift witness against the sorcerers, and against the adulterers, and against false swearers, and against those that oppress the hireling in his wages, the widow, and the fatherless, and that turn aside the stranger from his right, and fear not me, saith the LORD of hosts.

(Deu 10:18 KJV) He doth execute the judgment of the fatherless and widow, and loveth the stranger, in giving him food and raiment.

(Deu 10:19 KJV) Love ye therefore the stranger: for ye were strangers in the land of Egypt.

(Deu 24:19 KJV) When thou cuttest down thine harvest in thy field, and hast forgot a sheaf in the field, thou shalt not go again to fetch it: it shall be for the stranger, for the fatherless, and for the widow: that the LORD thy God may bless thee in all the work of thine hands.

(Deu 24:20 KJV) When thou beatest thine olive tree, thou shalt not go over the boughs again: it shall be for the stranger, for the fatherless, and for the widow.

(Deu 24:21 KJV) When thou gatherest the grapes of thy vineyard, thou shalt not glean it afterward: it shall be for the stranger, for the fatherless, and for the widow.

(Jer 7:6 KJV) If ye oppress not the stranger, the fatherless, and the widow, and shed not innocent blood in this place, neither walk after other gods to your hurt:

(Jer 22:3 KJV) Thus saith the LORD; Execute ye judgment and righteousness, and deliver the spoiled out of the hand of the oppressor: and do no wrong, do no violence to the stranger, the fatherless, nor the widow, neither shed innocent blood in this place.

(Zec 7:10 KJV) And oppress not the widow, nor the fatherless, the stranger, nor the poor; and let none of you imagine evil against his brother in your heart.

(Exo 22:21 KJV) Thou shalt neither vex a stranger, nor oppress him: for ye were strangers in the land of Egypt.

(Exo 23:9 KJV) Also thou shalt not oppress a stranger: for ye know the heart of a stranger, seeing ye were strangers in the land of Egypt.

(Lev 19:34 KJV) But the stranger that dwelleth with you shall be unto you as one born among you, and thou shalt love him as thyself; for ye were strangers in the land of Egypt: I am the LORD your God.

(Lev 25:35 KJV) And if thy brother be waxen poor, and fallen in decay with thee; then thou shalt relieve him: yea, though he be a stranger, or a sojourner; that he may live with thee.

(Deu 1:16 KJV) And I charged your judges at that time, saying, Hear the causes between your brethren, and judge righteously between every man and his brother, and the stranger that is with him.

I looked to see if the Israelites obeyed the Lord's commandments and out of the above I found none.

They follow the devil’s teachings and none other

In my opinion
