Would we baptize aliens?

Intelligence isn't the defining factor in what makes us be made in the image and likeness of God. Some animals here on earth are very intelligent, certain species of apes, ceteceans, and birds are extremely intelligent, some comparable to a 3 year old human child.

right, of the extraterrestrial (supposed or real) encounters people have had, no saint or theologian has affirmed they are men. it's not an undue assumption when all evidence and commentary says otherwise.

since you brought that up, you still have not shown the anti-Patristic romanticism taught in seminary yet, aside from getting who Dr Veniamin is wrong and saying a generic thing about the nous which you neglected to show how what you said is taught in seminary.

But if we find them they are most likely smarter and more advanced than us and probally would have ditched or have no interest in religion.

Of course they are men. Supernatural Beings don't need spaceships or technology to move around.

Aliens are flesh and blood creatures. Are they good? Are they working for Satan, who knows?

As the beast gains more power and control, more and more 'aliens' will appear to appear.
It has been fraudulent and deceitful all the time in the past and present.
In the future will be no different - the whole world is deceived , willingly, and refuses to turn to God to be saved.

Demons don't, or need to fly around in spaceships.

Aliens may well be evil and do Satan's bidding but can we get away from this demons in disguise rubbish. Aliens are real, they live on other planets and are mortal like you and me.

Perhaps the aliens will consider us primitive and in need of education and conversion to the one true faith?

Excuse me if this is too personal, and you don't have to answer, but if you will, are you taking medicine today ?

Why would you ever believe aliens are real, on other planets, are mortal ,
let alone at all like you and me ?

That's easy because they are more intelligent and advanced than us. We can't yet build spaceships and travel vast star systems to their planet and say hello. Where as Aliens have already visited this planet.

Mice from other countries are alien? If thye udderstand man, they know man is cruel, vain, wicked, evil, destructive, and in trouble because of his own stupidity all the time.
They might be trying to educate people, and definitely would prefer it if men did not poison all the environment causing so much death and illness.... and mice obey God more than man does, so would that mean anything like they want to convert men ?

Folks I'm tempted to lock this thread. This is in the Eastern Orthodox forum and I don't see the purpose of resurrecting an old thread for Protestants to discuss theories about outer space aliens.


Maybe take it to Conspiracy theories or Controversial Theology if you want to discuss. You can post a link here so you can all follow.

Why do you believe in a supernatural invisible God with magical powers. There is no evidence such a being exists, yet you believe in him.

At least belief in Aliens is based on credible science.

As Scripture says, whoever places their trust in men , "I Yahweh curse".
So trusting science / men/ that lie, is under a curse.

As written "No one who places their trust in Yahweh is ever disappointed by Him"

so trust the invisible God Creator Sovereign, as He Says, instead of sinful, lying, men.

Perhaps the truth lies beyond the stars rather than in ancient texts written by people thousands of years ago.
