I prophesy (but I'm not a prophet)

eh?
That's like saying "I eat meat, but i'm not a carnivore",
Surely it contradicts itself?

The Gifts are, well, gifts and they are God's to give. I have personally seen at least one bona fide miracle which came about due to a massive amount of prayer by many people in a certain state. A severly developmentally disabled boy with many birth defects was completely restored. It was astonishing. As for myself I covet prophecy, because it is speaking forth from, thru, by,the Holy Spirit of God and usually cuts to the heart of the matter, whether in witnessing , preaching, teaching or fellowshipping with fellow believers. It's the gift I aim for in all my dealings with people.
God Bless, Pete
