Greek:
English
“wealth” [Acts 19:25 KJB; [G2142]], “εὐπορία”, “euporia”
Act 19:25 KJB - Whom he called together with the workmen of like occupation, and said, Sirs, ye know that by this craft we have our wealth.
ε Epsilon = 5
ὐ Upsilon = 400
π Pi = 80
ο Omicron = 70
ρ Rho = 100
ί Iota = 10
α Alpha = 1
= 666
This example of
“wealth”, associated with idolatry, is actually very interesting, since in scripture [KJB], the number
'666' is found in association with:
[1] “buy[ing] and sell[ing]” [Revelation 13:17 KJB], and
[2] with an amount of worldly “gold” during the reign of Solomon [1 Kings 10:14; 2 Chronicles 9:13 KJB], who apostatized, because of worldly women/wives, unto false gods and idols, and because of worldly wisdom, and worldly reliance for defense, rather than dependence upon God, as well as
[3] idols [and a Woman/Jezebel/harlot [unfaithful Church, of a city of seven hills [Rome]] of Revelation 2:20, 17:1-7,18 KJB], made of Gold, Silver, etc., being sold for gold and silver
[4] The example in scripture of the “Rich Young Ruler”, who had much “wealth”, and was told to “sell” [Matthew 19:16-30; Mark 10:17-31; Luke 18:18-30; see also Luke 12:33-34 KJB], but refused, and would not “follow” [as an Apostle] Jesus, though he had claimed to follow God.
[5] There was also Judas himself, that “son of perdition” [John 17:12; see also 2 Thessalonians 2:3 KJB], the “thief” apostle [John 12:6 KJB], (whose covetous spiritual apostolic line is still alive unto this day, for though 'they' say that 'they' are of 'Peter', they are in reality of Judas; Revelation 17:4, 18:11-24 KJB), who had the money “bag” [John 13:29 KJB], covetous to make a shrewd deal, in the betrayal of Jesus [Psalms 41:9; Zechariah 11:12,13; Matthew 26:15,16, 27:3-10; Mark 14:10,11; Luke 22:4,6; John 6:64,71, 12:4, 13:2,11,18; Acts 1:16,18-20,25 KJB], he purchased the wrong “field” and should have purchased this “field” [Matthew 13:44 KJB], he hung upon the dead tree [Matthew 21:19-21; Mark 11:12-14,20-21; Acts 1:18 KJB], “cursed” [Deuteronomy 21:22,23, 27:25; Galatians 3:13 KJB], but he should have hung with Christ Jesus [Galatians 2:20, 5:24 KJB] on that other “tree” [Acts 5:30, 10:39, 13:29; Galatians 3:13; 1 Peter 2:24 KJB].
[6] We also know that according to the scripture [KJB], that:
1 Timothy 6:10 KJB - For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows.
This would include even Lucifer's fall, for persons that are created are given in terms of value:
Matthew 10:31 KJB - Fear ye not therefore, ye are of more value than many sparrows.
Luke 12:7 KJB - But even the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Fear not therefore: ye are of more value than many sparrows.
For all creatures borrow life from God Isaiah 42:5; John 20:22; Acts 17:25 KJB], including Lucifer/Satan:
Proverbs 22:7 KJB - The rich ruleth over the poor, and the borrower is servant to the lender.
Psalms 37:21 KJB - The wicked borroweth, and payeth not again: but the righteous sheweth mercy, and giveth.
Read this parable prayerfully and carefully, for the man, deified self, coveted, see also Deuteronomy 18:11-20; Job 31:23-25,29; Psalms 49:6,7 KJB:
Luke 12:13 KJB - And one of the company said unto him, Master, speak to my brother, that he divide the inheritance with me.
Luke 12:14 KJB - And he said unto him, Man, who made me a judge or a divider over you?
Luke 12:15 KJB - And he said unto them, Take heed, and beware of covetousness: for a man's life consisteth not in the abundance of the things which he possesseth.
Luke 12:16 KJB - And he spake a parable unto them, saying, The ground of a certain rich man brought forth plentifully:
Luke 12:17 KJB - And he thought within himself, saying, What shall I do, because I have no room where to bestow my fruits?
Luke 12:18 KJB - And he said, This will I do: I will pull down my barns, and build greater; and there will I bestow all my fruits and my goods.
Luke 12:19 KJB - And I will say to my soul, Soul, thou hast much goods laid up for many years; take thine ease, eat, drink, and be merry.
Luke 12:20 KJB - But God said unto him, Thou fool, this night thy soul shall be required of thee: then whose shall those things be, which thou hast provided?
Luke 12:21 KJB - So is he that layeth up treasure for himself, and is not rich toward God.
Therefore, it is the persons who are the treasures, for they can be everlasting:
Exodus 19:5 KJB - Now therefore, if ye will obey my voice indeed, and keep my covenant, then ye shall be a peculiar treasure unto me above all people: for all the earth is mine:
Matthew 19:21 KJB - Jesus said unto him, If thou wilt be perfect, go and sell that thou hast, and give to the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and come and follow me.
Matthew 6:19 KJB - Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth, where moth and rust doth corrupt, and where thieves break through and steal:
Matthew 6:20 KJB - But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal:
Matthew 6:21 KJB - For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.
Luke 12:33 KJB - Sell that ye have, and give alms; provide yourselves bags which wax not old, a treasure in the heavens that faileth not, where no thief approacheth, neither moth corrupteth.
Luke 12:33 KJB - For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.
As it is written, ye cannot serve God [who is selfless Love] and self[ishness]/covetousness:
Matthew 6:24 KJB - No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon.
Luke 16:13 KJB - No servant can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon.
As it is written (Ellen G. White), again:
