Kevin, saying that the Jews will accept another as their King is what Jesus referred to in John 5:43.

It is not anti-Israel dogma. When the person commits the transgression of desolation act in 2Thessalonians2:3-4, claiming to be God, the Jews will be mortified, and will reject him as continuing as their King of Israel - thus ending his time as the Antichrist.

Put the prefix "Anti' in front of christ and you get the function the Antichrist. The christ refers to the promised great King of Israel, descended from King David, to lead Israel and the world into the messianic age of peace and safety among other things.

Mark 15:32 Let Christ the King of Israel descend now from the cross, that we may see and believe. And they that were crucified with him reviled him.

John 12:13 Took branches of palm trees, and went forth to meet him, and cried, Hosanna: Blessed is the King of Israel that cometh in the name of the Lord.

The Antichrist will be someone who becomes the King of Israel, someone who God did not send - that's what Jesus was talking about in John 5:43.

Then please explain who is the Prince of the covenant? It isn't the Christ because he hasn't returned yet. The Prince of the covenant is the first of the two witnesses. The Prince of the covenant is Melchizedek. So get the whole picture together. The Prince of the covenant is the commander who turns back the insolence of the king of the North. The Prince of the covenant is the Behemoth in Job and the antichrist is the Leviathan and they do battle. The Prince of the covenant is the first martyr of the antichrist and offers an example to all the saints so that they are strong enough to die for Yahshua.

Not at all. Israel is not even in the war at all but it is a war of the king of the South and the king of the North. Israel is the glorious land and is an innocent bystander. The king of the North at one time thinks he can take Israel for himself but is actually turned back for his insolence, the commander, that leader of Israel turns back his insolence upon him for it is not the time.
Kevin, the conflicts in Daniel 11:40-45 are at the very end of the seven years, as the nations are drawn into the middle east. Those events have nothing to do with what takes place in Revelation 11, the two witnesses and their war against the beast, near the middle of the seven years.

If you are talking about in Daniel 11:22, the prince of the covenant is the high priest at the time of Antiochus. Antiochus put his own guy in there instead. It was a completed mess, but Antiochus was forcing what is called Hellenizing on the Jews.

Absolutely not. The Prince of the covenant is the first seal and from the time of the going out of the word to restore Jerusalem there will be 49 years until he comes to Israel to build the third temple. The first seal has not even been broken yet.

All of the seals have been broken by Jesus, otherwise we would not know what they contained. None of the events contained within the seals have take place yet.

The 49 years of Daniel 9 are long over because they refer to the building of the second temple, which Jesus during his time preached in the second temple.

You are quite wrong. For the last half of the passage of the 490 year period refers to the covenant of 1 week of the antichrist. Which this week is written of in Revelations, which most certainly hasn't happened yet!

Therefore this passage is unequivocally referring to the third temple.

While the last week of the 70 weeks of years - is end times, and what Revelation describes in the seals is that 7 years - differently, the 49 years, the 7weeks of years, are long past and were about the rebuilding of the second temple. The 7 weeks combined with 62 weeks, giving 69 weeks - the messiah would come and be cutoff. That was clearly when Jesus was crucified.

For the end times, there will be another temple built that the Antichrist will go into and claim to have achieved God-hood. But it has nothing to do with the 49 years in Daniel 9:25.

Wow. So you can just walk in here and decide for yourself that this 490 year period is discontinuous. There is no basis for that at all. As if you could have 70 weeks, split up any way YOU decide just so that YOUR interpretation can work.

That is not handling the word of God in meekness but forcefully construing it to your own idea. The 490 year period is 70 weeks and those 70 weeks are continuous. The entire 7 seals, all of the end times is bound up in that 70 week period. That is the "troubled time" it speaks of because it is the tribulation!

Kevin, is there a gap between Jesus's first coming, when he was crucified, cutoff but not for himself - and His second coming?

Daniel 9:26 And after threescore and two weeks shall Messiah be cut off, but not for himself: and the people of the prince that shall come shall destroy the city and the sanctuary; and the end thereof shall be with a flood, and unto the end of the war desolations are determined.

Doug, you must interpret meekly. You cannot go against the word here. It says that it will be 70 weeks, 490 years to do what? To seal both vision and prophet, to PUT AN END TO TRANSGRESSION, has this been put to an end since Christ came? You are making a big mistake and you are not allowed to do this to scripture.

Scripture is the authority and when it says it will be 490 years it is NOT going about it in some altered way. It says what it means and there is nothing crooked or twisted in it. So NO, you are wrong and you are going to have to admit it.

Kevin, you didn't answer the question. Because obviously - you are the one who is wrong. Everyone on this discussion forum knows Jesus is the messiah cutoff, but not for himself - 2000 years ago.

The last week, the 70th week, is still left to be fulfilled. The previous 69 weeks were fulfilled 2000 years ago.

WOW, that is in direct contradiction to scripture because then it isn't 70 weeks at all! You're making it 69 weeks + 1000 weeks(or more) + 1 week. This is NOT how scripture works. It either fulfills ALL of the word or it is NOT the fulfillment of it.

Do you not understand what I've said to you though? Are you not following what I'm pointing out? That the prince of the covenant is Melchizedek, and Melchizedek RESEMBLES THE SON OF GOD. He lives through the entire 490 year period and do you know what about the time that he is cut off? It's written of in other scripture, here:

For he went from prison to the throne, though in his own kingdom he had been born poor. I saw all the living who move about under the sun, along with that youth who was to stand in the king’s place. There was no end of all the people, all of whom he led. Yet those who come later will not rejoice in him. Surely this also is vanity and a striving after wind. ~Ecclesiastes 4:14-16

And again here:

Know well the condition of your flocks,
and give attention to your herds,
for riches do not last forever;
and does a crown endure to all generations?
~
Proverbs 27:23-24

You are entirely mistaken because you do not understand the whole counsel of God. I don't care if the entire world thinks what you think, when you construe scripture to fit your own mind, you have rebelled against God. Now you have done it unwittingly because God has not revealed these things which I'm telling you. But do not fear, I'm telling them to you so that you may have a clear picture.

Blue, I told you already is the prince of the covenant. The red is obviously the antichrist. Start putting together what I've said so far. I already said these things.

The messiah's name in blue is......?

I want to know clearly who you believe the name of the messiah is in this verse...

Daniel 9:26 And after threescore and two weeks shall Messiah be cut off, but not for himself: and the people of the prince that shall come shall destroy the city and the sanctuary; and the end thereof shall be with a flood, and unto the end of the war desolations are determined.

If I asked that same question of anyone else on this discussion forum, there would be zero playing around and they would give me a direct plain answer of the messiah's name.

3 He went up from there to Bethel; and while he was going up on the way, some small boys came out of the city and jeered at him, saying, “Go away, baldhead! Go away, baldhead!” 24 When he turned around and saw them, he cursed them in the name of the Lord. Then two she-bears came out of the woods and mauled forty-two of the boys. 25 From there he went on to Mount Carmel, and then returned to Samaria.

Elisha had just performed miracles and had cleansed the towns water source. The Pagans wanted him gone. them numbers aren't always increments of time. What is the corelation between 42 boys given a mouth full of blasphemies. They flung cursed at Elisha. Elisha turned around and cursed them! Then two she-bears cam out of the woods and mauled the 42 boys.

I'm not playing around. You are playing around not listening when I told you what it is already. As it says,

He answered them, “I have told you already, and you would not listen. Why do you want to hear it again? Do you also want to become his disciples? ~John 9:27

If you can't understand what I've clearly pointed out MULTIPLE times then there is no purpose in you interpreting the word of God.
