What if a born again Christian repents but willfully keeps on sinning?

sin is sin! Addiction is not an exception! What do you mean by 'can't' I don't believe there is any scripture for those who 'can't' quit sinning, in the circle of Christians.
Addiction is rooted in sin, true. I don't think it's "willful" sin, though, since again I'm defining "willful" as "I know it's a sin but I don't care." Addiction is more of an "I know it's a sin, but God help me, I can't stop."

I could be wrong about that. YMMV.

If a Christian born again Christian repents, but continually continues to willfully sin, is their salvation or eternal security at risk?

A truly born-again person won't go on "continually" in sin. Their love of God won't allow it. One who carries on persistently in sin demonstrates in doing so that they haven't yet come to genuine spiritual regeneration. Such a person cannot, obviously, lose their salvation.

Unfortunately most Christians tend to think of sin as a particular type of violation, particularly sexual. But Jesus' teachings about judgement don't use those as examples. Rather the people condemned are those who don't bear fruit, or who abuse others. (About half, actually. The other big item is people who reject him or his message.) He tells the "rich young ruler" to sell all he has and follow him (though to be fair he may not have said that that was necessary for salvation).

I would be very surprised if most Christians aren't knowingly violating the standards that Jesus talks about being used for judgement.

God has already 'helped' by giving His Son to die on the Cross for that particular addictive willful sin not so we continue in it, but that we be free from it. It is up to us to cut off or pluck out so to speak what it is that causes us to sin. He gives us the power to overcome, as we take the steps to be rid of it.

What about people with sinful addictions and can't overcome them? I think if they are believing on Christ for salvation they are saved.
If you meet someone with an addiction, heal them in Jesus name.

From what I notice people will relapse and are not perfect and fall back into the addiction. What if someone who is saved becomes addicted to heroin and doesn't be sober perfectly? They just go to hell?

I love when healing happens but what does one do when it doesn't occur? I just feel for those people

Watch the whole video. I've been Spirit-filled for 41 years and can hear God's voice and have seen miracles, but healing was always where I was lacking.

But, I just keep watching Sid's Roth's program and I just do what they do now. I'm learning. Look at the new post I just made with this same url and read about my neighbor's dog, Penny.

That is great! All believers are spirit filled and I know God is sovereign over who is healed and who is not. Just wondering what one does wheb healing is not granted? Kinda like Paul and his thorn in the flesh.

This is impossible. When a believer repents, there is ability to stop sinning. The problem with so many people is that they don't experience this Christ given ability to live above sin and therefore conclude it's impossible to live above the grip of sin.
As long as a believer feels the temptation to sin and doesn't seem to be able to say no to that feeling, believe me something is not right with such a believer.
Check out this passages of scripture from two wonderful writers..

Acts 3:25 Ye are the children of the prophets, and of the covenant which God made with our fathers, saying unto Abraham, And in thy seed shall all the kindreds of the earth be blessed. 3:26 Unto you first God, having raised up his Son Jesus, sent him to bless you, in turning away every one of you from his iniquities.
CAN YOU SEE THE BLESSING? IT'S TO TURN US AWAY FROM OUR SINS.

Acts 26:20 But shewed first unto them of Damascus, and at Jerusalem, and throughout all the coasts of Judaea, and then to the Gentiles, that they should repent and turn to God, and do works meet for repentance.

God bless.

I'm afraid that Jesus spoke these words regarding serving 2 masters, you will love the one and hate the other, when He spoke regarding loving God or money.
The one who is addicted to heroin, is serving another god, I'm afraid.

You are reading into the text, contextually that is about serving God or money not an addiction.

So all the addicts including the common one: people who are glutton s which is an addiction to food and thus ruin their body are just hell bound because they can't break the habit? I disagree.

When a 'believer' has an addiction, something is terribly wrong. That's why I wonder what people that read Romans 7 and think it's a norm for a believer to experience that, claiming it's the experience of Paul as at when he was writing the letter. Rom 7 is talking about a person having an addiction, Rom 8 is the freedom Christ gives to men both in addiction and not..

God bless.

I see what you mean, I am more talking about one who is addicted and then comes to Christ helpless and trusting in Him for salvation and eternal life.
