In our day today we've come to know what the fat does in the body. The fat holds the toxins in the body. All the things that the liver could process gets stored into the fat. Those toxins can create cancer down the road and people are just discovering this as per the OP. So God was protecting us from cancer when he said this.

I don't think so. One can eat completely without fat and still pack on the pounds, and a certain amount of fat is essential for survival.

I'm sorry you don't understand. The fat in your body...stores the toxins that your liver couldn't process and poop out. Those toxins can create cancer if they get too high and especially if they are not in your fat but get in other places of your body.

Yeah if you believe the word of God is true. Here you go:

saying, “If you will diligently listen to the voice of Yahweh your God, and do that which is right in his eyes, and give ear to his commandments and keep all his statutes, I will put none of the diseases on you that I put on the Egyptians, for I am Yahweh, your healer. ~Exodus 15:26

So here we see that being healed is dependent on being careful to do what is right. The entire principle of this is founded in scripture.

And scripture cannot be broken. ~John 10:35

I don't know that it is an exaggeration. Cells accumulate mutations over time -- it's inevitable. Given enough mutations, some cells will eventually become malignant.

I find no credibility, in mostly unknown ancient authors, writing stories and them having any credibility, in regards to medical science.

You can certainly believe it though.

And that's OK, because Jesus fulfilled the Law. We are no longer bound by the civil laws or dietary restrictions imposed on the Jews under the Old Covenant.

As for the sin thing- if you could find some place in Scripture where God says "and he who eats pork will be struck with cancer", that would help out everyone here befuddled with your claim.

My ancestors were never "bound" by Old Testament laws-they were not jews!
