At the end of this paragraph

I didn't call it the work of the devil, I pointed out that the Scripture says it is. But, if that's what you mean, yes, that's the only unforgivable sin. Did you read the Scripture I posted that said it would not be forgiven?

Do you know of any other verses that say something else is also an unforgivable sin?

Nope, but that one we were talking about was not really specific so I got a bit conserned based off of my general knowledge about blasphemy.

The sin is referring to the work of the holy spirit, as in healing and such, as work of the Devil instead of the holy spirit. I'm not sure how it can be more specific. Maybe try reading well before, then up to the verse I posted. If I recall there are several verses in between the time it happens and the verse with Jesus warning. And maybe try a few translations....that could help

And you mention your knowledge of blasphemy and that's fine but I'm just saying general blasphemy is one thing and blasphemy against the holy spirit is another thing altogether. Also, if I'm not mistaken somewhere is says the Father will even put up with Blasphemy against Christ, and forgive that, but for some reason, doing so against the Holy Spirit, strikes a sore spot with God that we don't want to mess with.

I've heard all the "The only unforgivable sin is not accepting Christ" as well as other twists, but that/they simply aren't true. That's what some preachers do, teach a "Higher Knowledge" than what is biblical, makes themselves look good to some who don't bother checking them out, of don't know any better, and the next thing we know, people think it's a fact. Things like that happen often with scripture and it's so dangerous, God has some grave warnings about doing it.

Hope that helps some anyway. :)

So what you’re saying is that “calling it the work of the devil” is the only way you can blasphemy him?

No. It's just the only unforgivable blasphemy, and I don't know if the Holy Spirit is a "him" or not. Blasphemy still means what it means, and can still be done, and no, still not a good idea in any form, but blasphemy against the holy spirit is a very bad idea.

It's actually MANY ways you can blaspheme the Holy Spirit!
(matthew 12:31-32, mark 3:28-30, luke 12:8-10)

1. Speaking against HIM
2. Wanting HIM sexually
3. Using His Name in Vain

Many people have blasphemed the Holy Spirit via youtube by taking the "Blasphemy Challenge".
They also blaspheme HIM on twitter under "I deny the Holy Spirit".

Do these need to be said verbally out loud for it to become blasphemy?

No, you can also do it w/ feelings or mentally going against the Holy Spirit.
Many people actually hear blasphemy against the Holy Spirit in their minds. Only the thoughts that you agree to are yours. They call it OCD Scrupulosity.
With much prayer, fasting, and getting hands laid on you by Holy Spirit filled people they do go away.

If that’s so, I guess I’ll just tell my experience on here. I thought something’s against God and the Holy Spirit I feel so bad, I dint know if I thought it or Satan put it in my mind. I legitimately feel like I want to cry right now and feel like I’ve messed up at such a young age. I need serious help. I’m feeling confused as well because I saw somethings on the internet that said that it cannot be done today and the uonly unpardonable sin is uncontinued belief. is this true?

Many people have had thoughts against the Holy Spirit. It's up to you if you agree with it or not.
Long as you don't agree with them then your fine.
Massive prayer is required to keep the mind from having blasphemous thoughts TOO much because if you do you won't be able to attend school/work.
Fasting and getting hands laid on you by Holy Spirit filled people also helps.
People call it OCD Scrupulosity.

Many people have experienced what you went through and overcame and so can you.
