You need to get a Biblical instruction on what love is and WHO we are commanded to love and NOT LOVE.
Love comes with instruction as does everything we have to do (Heb. 4:12-13).
Then please show us Biblical instruction on whom we are forbidden to love.

God does not love everyone. If He did ALL would be saved
That has yet to be Biblically demonstrated.

HE tells us WHO to love and WHO not to love just like everything else in our lives. You don't belong to yourself so stop and get off the throne and let the Word guide you...lamp and light to path and step - every step.
Or He's not Lord of your life.
Great. Then just show us where God instructs us to not love people.

You said you were open to quoting a few more so I thought you were actually open. I guess it was my error to take your words at face value.
I can quote more than a few.....but you like painting incorrect pictures.....I wouldn't want others to think I'm saying anything against Paul's teaching.....wouldnt want to cause others to stumble....maybe this is best done in a private manner.

Love comes with instruction as does everything we have to do (Heb. 4:12-13).

If you haven't been instructed then the love you have is sensuous, earthy, and emotional. This borders on mysticism.

God does not love everyone. If He did ALL would be saved because like His Will God's Love is Sovereign.
HE tells us WHO to love and WHO not to love just like everything else in our lives. You don't belong to yourself so stop and get off the throne and let the Word guide you...lamp and light to path and step - every step.
Or He's not Lord of your life.
So who don't you love?

So who don't you love?
Let me put it like this and you can discern...

The original command in Covenant Israel:

Leviticus 19:17-18 (KJV)
17 Thou shalt not hate thy brother (member of the same tribe) in thine heart: thou shalt in any wise rebuke thy neighbor (member of another tribe), and not suffer sin upon him.
18 Thou shalt not avenge, nor bear any grudge against the children of thy people (member of ANY of the 12 tribes), but thou shalt love thy neighbour (member of another tribe) as thyself: I am the LORD.

Now, when you see these words..."I am the LORD" then "you" need to pay close attention and do not sin against the LORD because He STILL is a jealous God. The same when you see three "woe's" in a passage. Pay attention!

So, in accordance with the expressed will of God the command is to love brethren ONLY.

There is no redundancy in this next passage:

1 John 2:15 (KJV)
15 Love not the world (unsaved people), neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him.

The translated from Greek here is "world" and the Greek word is "kosmos" which is defined by Strong as...

(kosmos from base of komizo); orderly arrangement, i.e. decoration; by implication the world (in a wide or narrow sense, including its inhabitant, literal or figurative [moral])

True brethren are commanded to love brethren ONLY.

God hates the non-elect people that He will never save. He only bears with them because of the lamb slain from before the foundation of the world and the Elect, those whose names are in the book of life of the lamb slain....

Here's more:

Psalm 5:5 (KJV)
5 The foolish shall not stand in thy sight: thou hatest all workers of iniquity.

Psalm 11:5 (KJV)
5 The LORD trieth the righteous: but the wicked and him that loveth violence his soul hateth.

Do you know what a personal pronoun is?
"workers, wicked, him" are personal pronouns meaning the PERSON.

God hates (unatoned) sin AND (unatoned) sinner.

And He doesn't love them today, save them tomorrow and now He loves them. God does not change. His Love is Immutable.

So when we're commanded to love our enemies and those who persecute us, it means just our enemies among God's elect, and those among God's elect that persecute Christians? Can you point out which are those among God's elect that are the enemy to Christians?

We were all unsaved at one point...I hope you're not saying don't love unsaved people.

Sounds like Calvinism to me.

That's correct.

Israel did not heed the LORD's Word and in time ended up with a Northern Kingdom (10 tribes) and a Southern Kingdom (two tribes.) And they warred against each other constantly. brother against brother, neighbor against neighbor. Yes, there are enemies among the elect, they can and have persecuted other brethren and … shall I continue? As long as we are in this body, the only part of us NOT saved, then we will sin and sin against brethren, even do them harm.
How do you treat people outside church? Run into any brethren whom you've had a run in before - never knowing if they are brethren....
I've been dissed by brethren, even attacked, and believe me if you are not bumping heads with brethren there is SOMETHING WRONG!

We are commanded to love everyone because we all are made in His image, and are all naturally the same. We can’t judge who is and isn’t elect. So we love everyone the same.

But there's no limitation to "enemies" or "those who persecute you" in the Bible the way you try to limit it.

It never says, "love your enemies who are members of the church". It never says, "those who persecute you from among the elect". You have to add into the text things that just aren't there.

We can't judge? Jesus seemed to think we could - Matthew 7:15-20.
So you think this is talking about judging who is and isn’t elect? Because that was the context of my post.

God speaks to His Covenant people. He is not speaking to the world. Discern.
The command to God's Covenant people is found in the book who's keyword is "Holy/Holiness."
The command is for brethren to love brethren and so it had been for thousands of years. Jesus did not change the Law, so discern Matt. 5, while you're at it.

The Word of God is Leviticus 19:17-18.

Receive or reject. There is no medium.

Of course we can judge. We judge every day, right Hamster?
We are commanded to judge right and wrong, good and evil, true and false, true brethren and false brethren, pink top or blue sweater? Levi's or Dockers.
Open your eyez, ese!

First, you have to assume that Israel being commanded to love their brethren equates to a command to not love those outside the brethren - that is a non sequitur. Then you have to assume "enemies" and "those who persecute" is limited to being other Christians - which the text never says.

The image of God is NOT Adam, it is Christ. The image we were created in is also in Christ. DISCERN.

There is no better image of a Father than a Son.

Hebrews 1:3 (KJV)
3 Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high;
