Hello folks,

I am a fairly new Christian from the UK. I was raised in an Atheist/Secular environment but made a real commitment to Christ last summer, and it has changed my life for the better. I am now an active member of my local Church, and would love to learn more from fellow Christians on here.

Here in the UK the environment and culture can leave many Christians feeling discouraged and straying from their walk with Christ. So, it's refreshing to be a part of this forum and use this as a platform to grow in faith.

I very much look forward to conversing with fellow Christians on here.

God Bless!

Welcome to the site, I think you're going to really enjoy it here. I have found it to have a lot of activity.

Some when they say they have found the Lord look back a year later and see not much change. I take this to not be a good sign.

It was lifting to my heart to read how in the last year you have seen much change in your life thanks to Jesus.

Also glad to hear that you are in a church. Some will say that is not needed but, the New Testament is written mostly to the church and its members.

Many blessings sent from California,
M-Bob

Thanks for the warm welcome!

It's really encouraging to hear that. It's been a great journey coming home to Christ. I first heard the Gospel from a friend of mine a few years back when I was studying in college.

I was an Atheist at the time so I had a really negative outlook towards Christians. But, when my friend preached the gospel I began to look into it further in an attempt to discredit his claims, and that really started my journey of finding salvation in Jesus Christ. I've been through many trials and tribulations during this period, and it was only through my faith in Jesus Christ that I was able to overcome my problems.

The devil is always on the prowl, so Church is definitely a great place to stay firm in your convictions. I remember when I first went to Church I had this strong desire to literally just walk out halfway through the sermon. But, I can honestly say that it is really encouraging and a blessing to have fellowship with other Christians.

Stay blessed!
