Please justify why innocent children are ordered by God to be murdered in bible? Although they may do something wrong, they are still small to understand their crime!

Psalm 137:9
Blessed shall he be who takes your little ones and dashes them against the rock!

1 Samuel 15:2-3
Thus says the Lord of hosts, ‘I have noted what Amalek did to Israel in opposing them on the way when they came up out of Egypt. Now go and strike Amalek and devote to destruction all that they have. Do not spare them, but kill both man and woman, child and infant, ox and sheep, camel and donkey.’”

2 Kings 2:23-24
He went up from there to Bethel, and while he was going up on the way, some small boys came out of the city and jeered at him, saying, “Go up, you baldhead! Go up, you baldhead!” And he turned around, and when he saw them, he cursed them in the name of the Lord. And two she-bears came out of the woods and tore forty-two of the boys.

Leviticus 24:10-16
Now an Israelite woman's son, whose father was an Egyptian, went out among the people of Israel. And the Israelite woman's son and a man of Israel fought in the camp, and the Israelite woman's son blasphemed the Name, and cursed. Then they brought him to Moses. His mother's name was Shelomith, the daughter of Dibri, of the tribe of Dan. And they put him in custody, till the will of the Lord should be clear to them. Then the Lord spoke to Moses, saying, “Bring out of the camp the one who cursed, and let all who heard him lay their hands on his head, and let all the congregation stone him. ...

Numbers 31:17-18
Now therefore, kill every male among the little ones, and kill every woman who has known man by lying with him. But all the young girls who have not known man by lying with him keep alive for yourselves.

Exodus 32:26-29
Then Moses stood in the gate of the camp and said, “Who is on the Lord's side? Come to me.” And all the sons of Levi gathered around him. And he said to them, “Thus says the Lord God of Israel, ‘Put your sword on your side each of you, and go to and fro from gate to gate throughout the camp, and each of you kill his brother and his companion and his neighbor.’” And the sons of Levi did according to the word of Moses. And that day about three thousand men of the people fell. And Moses said, “Today you have been ordained for the service of the Lord, each one at the cost of his son and of his brother, so that he might bestow a blessing upon you this day.”

Hosea 13:16
Samaria shall bear her guilt, because she has rebelled against her God; they shall fall by the sword; their little ones shall be dashed in pieces, and their pregnant women ripped open

Leviticus 26:21-22
“Then if you walk contrary to me and will not listen to me, I will continue striking you, sevenfold for your sins. And I will let loose the wild beasts against you, which shall bereave you of your children and destroy your livestock and make you few in number, so that your roads shall be deserted.

Jeremiah 19:9
And I will make them eat the flesh of their sons and their daughters, and everyone shall eat the flesh of his neighbor in the siege and in the distress, with which their enemies and those who seek their life afflict them.’

Deuteronomy 21:18-21
“If a man has a stubborn and rebellious son who will not obey the voice of his father or the voice of his mother, and, though they discipline him, will not listen to them, then his father and his mother shall take hold of him and bring him out to the elders of his city at the gate of the place where he lives, and they shall say to the elders of his city, ‘This our son is stubborn and rebellious; he will not obey our voice; he is a glutton and a drunkard.’ Then all the men of the city shall stone him to death with stones. So you shall purge the evil from your midst, and all Israel shall hear, and fear.

It's judgment.

Regarding the shedding of "innocent" blood, God always has, and does still, abhor it. It's listed in the 7 things God hates.

Amen?

It seems the time before the incarnation was different than the time after. (You’ll notice none of those verses are from the NT.) Before, it may have been necessary to kill anything evil so it wouldn’t completely overtake the earth. After Christ though, things changed because God had effectively proclaimed his way of life through Christ, which is love, mercy and forgiveness and so Christ was and is the beginning or first fruits of that way of life.

It is all very intersting to consider and I certainly do not have all the answers.

Yet Jesus was murdered horrendously on a cross, shedding his blood. As a matter of fact He came to this world in the form of a baby for the purpose of dying this death, as it is written in John 3:16, and as God stated right in Genesis that this would happen. Is that not true?

Does God not know the beginning from the end, and the outcome of children who grow up? God judged entire nations. And just as with Sodom and Gomorrah and what He promised to Abraham, He would NOT destroy the nation(s) if there were any "righteous" in it.

And He didn't.

Where does it say they would be evil? Its clear the children were killed because of the wrong their parents did. Its clear in the context !

Did God sin?

Does God have the right to judgement?

Does God know the beginning from the end?

Was God's judgement evil? Unrighteous?

What comes to mind, is God and Nineveh. He gave opportunity for repentance. That is why He sent Jonah. Same with ALL of these nations that came under His judgement. Same with Noah. What happened to all of the people outside of the ark?

Back then there may have been good reason to believe they were evil, but now, no, I don’t believe infants are evil since they’re incapable of sinning. Toddlers are capable of sinning, I know because I have 4 kids haha. Presently, I would consider it wrong to kill a child no matter the reason.

What comes to mind is something like this can't be from God and maybe it was added by men !!

It is true. Jesus came in order to change the way humans behave, which was previously eye for an eye brutality. Still is that way in some places, but is being changed by Gods Spirit.

Are you referring to judgement? As in "killing"?

Are you saying that God would be evil? Sinning?
