I remember when they use to play this endlessly on the radio. For months like every hour of the day they would play this song. I came to hate this song so much I used to have a physical reaction everytime it came on.

Man, I hear ya. It did seem for a few pop songs that the station really did play them that frequently. I thought once or twice a day would be enough. But it was like many radio stations did not have a big enough assortment of songs to work with in the day to play them only that frequently.

I have a very slight crush on a super cute and shy coworker. I've noticed her for a long time but never pursued it because I was distracted by someone else, and because this girl keeps to herself so much, she's kind of unapproachable, but she works in the department that is notorious for having the worst and most "hound dog" men in it, so I don't blame her for keeping to herself. Anyways, I've managed to talk to her a few times, she seems super sweet, and I really wanna get to know her, but I don't know how. When you're both shy and quiet, it's hard to really break that ice.

As for my last crush, I let it go and tried to just be her friend, and it was pretty cool for a while, we hung out a few times, it was nice having someone I could invite to see a movie or get good with, and not feel awkward and pressured. But she got transferred to a different department and made newer, cooler, better friends. She helped me make a card for my mom for mothers day while my dad was in the hospital with a bowel blockage. Ever since then, she just started treating me like crap, every time I opened my mouth, she acted like I was bothering and annoying her.

She treated me like unwanted leftovers, and like I was a huge loser. She legit told me that she couldn't have my brother and I making her look uncool in front of her new coworkers. She tried to cover and say she just meant my brother, but I wasn't buying it, and that was still a very crap thing to do. So I decided to just leave her alone totally, no contact. She tries to say hi to me the rare times we are both on shift together, but I basically just nod or give her a one-word response. Just cause she's nice to me for five minutes, doesn't mean I'm gonna open myself up for her to hurt and reject me again.

So the crush I mentioned before-- the one who started treating me like crap and I was trying to move on from-- one of her coworkers put in their two weeks notice-- her manager spoke to my boss-- guess who has to work with his former crush who now treats him like scum between her toes......... This guy........

No crushes. I think it's been a LONG time since I had one. I'm pretty much putting them off until I reach my goal weight.

I don't know if I'd do that.. most women are nice to their customers and it's quite easy to see something that isn't there.

No crushes, unfortunately. My life is an endless sea of older married types, and women who are too young for me. It's probably just as well, as I have other things to think about, but crushes can be kind of fun.
