Peaceful Sleep

While the disciples were sleeping in the Garden of Gethsemane, while the Lord Jesus was sweating great drops of blood (Luke 22:44), the Lord did not miss seeing an angel (which strengthened him, Luke 22:43). I don't think Daniel got much sleep in the Lion's den, but he did say "My God hath sent his angel, and hath shut the lions' mouth (Daniel 6:21). A great number of wonderful things have occurred for people when they could not sleep. When you can't sleep....keep your "eyes open" for what the Lord may want to show you, or say to you. Remember in 1 Samuel 3 it was when Samuel was lying down to sleep as a small child in the temple, that God called him four times before he would answer the Lord.
