Hello, I would like to request prayer for my family, as they're going through a very difficult time.

My brother and sister are not Christian, they have not accepted Jesus and my sister identifies as agnostic while my brother simply claims he's lost.

My brother struggles with severe depression and mental health issues, he's attempted suicide twice (both times overdosing) and was in a facility for a while for treatment. My mother and I believe God's pulled him through it because he has a greater purpose and isn't meant to go yet. He has a lot of darkness on him, heavy weight of self-loathing and pessimism toward the world and people in general. He also struggles with his sexuality and I feel it pains him further and is part of the self-loathing he experiences, and makes him feel even worse. He used to be more open to the word of God, he'd attend church with me and my mother, and watch biblical themed programming with us, but now he's put up this wall.

My sister has struggled with eating disorders, anxiety, and self-loathing as well. She believes she's worthless and works herself to the bone in her dead-end job as her purpose of existence. She doesn't eat well at all and goes through periods where she's thin as bone. She tried to go back to school so she could get a better job the field of her dreams (she wants to be a pediatric nurse), but after a bad car accident on her way to school & failing the program, she lost hope and has been too afraid to try ever since. If we try to encourage her or bring it up she just gets angry, and closes herself off. She recently has gotten in trouble at her job for giving a co-worker a $20 discount she was not authorized to do (basically stealing) and had to pay it back and was suspended. It was very shocking because she's never done anything like that before and is usually very honest and rule-abiding. She's also more adverse to listening about God and hasn't gone to church since she was a child.

She, and my brother, both seclude themselves for long periods and are not well.

I just pray against their depression and that they can redirect their pain and sadness into finding help and seeking Jesus. Thank you.

Praying for you. May God bless you and your dear family with peace and contentment.
I pray against this confusion and strongholds in your home.
Just a thought here but could you get them to sit down together with you and have a little family bible study time each week? I have seen this work wonders in peoples lives as the Word brings them closer to God and each other. Bless you

Father, I know Your heart goes out to these three siblings. You see them in their pain, and want to help, and even do what You can without infringing upon their freedom to choose. Certain things are motivating them to choose the wrong things. One is a Christian, and is trying to help these other two and is seeking prayer support here. I ask for Your graciousness in hearing, and even going beyond what is being asked (Ephesians 2:20-21), and in response to this siblings and others prayers that You bring a supernatural deliverance in such a way that doesn't infringe upon the freedom of choice. I pray that You give a special revelation to these two, that shows Your true love for them, and the high value that You continue to place upon them. May You overcome the darkness and deception that has plagued them, and bring them to know that from what we have heard about them, some of us on CF really care for them, and want them to receive the good things You have for them. May You break through their feelings of unworthiness and whatever else it is that makes them feel bad about themselves and want to seclude themselves from You and others. Psalms 119:176 is a verse that could partially relate to them. Seek them, Lord. Amen.
